Never say never!! Everything old become new again.
Lonette Mckee, Irene Cara and Dawn Smith are the originals from the Movie Sparkle. They were the 1st. 1976!
Them days are gone i still lesson to my oldies but goodie
Yes! DAWN definitely killed it 💯
Love En Vogue. My fav song from them is "Don't Let Go." Love Aretha. My fav song from her is "A Rose is Still a Rose." But when it come to this song - this song right here - the original singers/actors from the movie "Sparkle" did this song something serious. I'll never hear it the same, again. LOL Great reaction! Keep em coming!
Yes more on the way. And I Love that song too! ❤️❤️❤️
Dorian Hardwood in the crowd.
I saw this in 92...when I was in Rota, SPAIN. I "HAD' TO GET LAID after I saw this VIDEO.
I'm sorry to say Aretha Franklin came out with her version of song after the movie came out so no she was originally the one who sang it.
Love your reaction ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Great reaction
Thanks for watching! ❤️
Tunes were awesome back then
I heard En Vogue's version first as a child then The 1970's Sparkle version then Aretha's lol.
I saw this video for the first time in Rota,Spain IN 1992...I had to get LAID after i saw this.
Oh Wow! 😂
4:45 damn I hope you are wrong!!!
Had to turn this off, because it sounds nothing like Aretha's version, that had a lot more soul in the song. This version sounds like a something they would sing in a music contest.
wildly innacurate
Real vocals and real bodies. Unlike today’s women
