I literally just purchased this mould from Etsy (it was the last one in stock) ! And I’ve been scouring UA-cam for tips about using silicone moulds with polymer clay and most end up very similar to how you were first demonstrating, just cramming a bid ol ball of clay in there. All I want to say is THANK YOU! This is super handy and a really useful tutorial!
WoW this is the best tutorial! To the point, no unnecessary chatter, excellently filmed so every detail is clearly viewed and the audio is crisp, clear and perfectly in sync with exactly what is on screen. Honestly never thought I’d have issues using a silicone mould and clay. Thinking how much simpler can a craft/project be for an adult?Lol…but then found myself struggling to find out why the pieces weren’t coming out with clear details and or flaws. I enjoyed and learned so much from this video that I became your newest subscriber. I sincerely thank you! ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦
I’ve been working with polymer clay for a few years now, but I’m always very interested in learning new tricks. This is awesome for getting super crisp edges and a finished molded mini. Bravo and TY!
What a wonderful tutorial! I am new at this, but even I could tell that what people were doing wasn't going to work well for the molds I have. You had exactly the tips I needed. Thank you!
I am just entering the world of polymer clay, not yet use all the tools I have collected, so this has turned up on my feed at the best of times. Thank you🤗🇬🇧
Thank you so much for doing this tutorial, i have been having difficulty with moulds and now have success after following this. so thank you have opened up a whole new area of crafting for me.
This was wonderful video demo. Very clear and just what I needed. I'm new to clay work. Ordered some molds similar to the one you are using and my first attempts were awful. I also figured I just didn't get good molds. Can hardly wait to try all of these ideas. Thank you so much.
I love how you explain how to use your push molds. I have a mold shop on etsy as well. If you'd like to see it, I can let you know the shop name. My question to you is may I have permission from you to list this video on my shop to send people over to you to watch this and learn how to use molds properly? It gets frustrating when people pull and rip at the molds, due to frustration and not knowing how to use them. Then they want a refund, because now its defective... lol! I dont have a youtube channel. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your video and tips. I have been working with polymer clay for a while now but wanted to add more dimension to some of my pieces and decided to try some silicone molds. When I made my first few flowers, they looked ok but were very distorted. I found this tutorial and the difference is amazing. Thank you so much.
I recently bought these molds on Etsy, they're so freaking adorable, thank you so much for sharing all these tips, they're extremely helpful! These are my first silicone molds and I'm so excited to get started…the correct way! :)
Thank you Cindy. I've been claying for years, mostly as a hobby, but sometimes i find it hard to keep up with the speed of progress in polymers, u.v resins etc..
Thank you so much! Idk if you still come on here and will see my comment but I'm glad I watched this, it's so simple and I would not have known. I am picking this up as a hobby, just my kids and I, im not trying to make a business out of it so it doesnt need to be perfect but its still nice to havr these tiny tips and tricks to make my art as best and neat as it can be. I just want to make lil trinkets and keepsakes for my kids and for gifts for holidays they can make for others. I want to get better and better but I'm starting out simple. I bought a chocolate mold tray of little bears and they aren't tiny but I'm still intimidated lol of course, this is only my second time usinge clay. Anyways thank you for the video and here I go!
Wow thanks for the tip as I’d seen something like this before but you showed with and without the tool so I could really see the difference! Thank you!!!

I'm trying to make polymer clay die with silicone molds! Thank you for making this! Can I cook the clay in the molds and any tips for doing so? Some of these die molds are not able to just pop soft clay out.
Thank you for your great video! I, like others, am new to molding with Sculpey clay and so appreciate your tips. A beginner's question for you: after you release the item from the mold, can it then be baked in the oven? Or should it be baked in the mold and then released after it cools? Thanks again. Jude
Thank You for your presentation. I'm new in this craft world 😊 I don't have molds, clay, but I have your videos to learn have can I do this beauty 😊 PS where can I buy for ok price molds? Your mold is so sweet! Best Regards from Serbia 😊
i didn't know you could put the moulds & the clay in the oven to bake. so you don't have to take the clay out of a mould to bake it. wow. it's ok. i am learning about clay at the moment. x
Before demolding, chill the filled mold in the refrigerator to firm up the clay and maintain crisp details.
can you put in the freezer because this happens to me as well.

Do I need to bake this clay after making shapes ?
if your clay is too sticky then put it in the freezer for a few minutes then de-mold
This is great but if you want to use deeper molds, then try liquid clay..
Some molds are oven safe.
Pour,bake,pop out. Done
