  • This is the best place to stay in Modica--a charming boutique set into the hillside that looks at the breathtaking view of this Sicilian town. High quality accommodations in a minimalist but comfortable design, all infused with thoughtful details historical charm. Owner Marco and his wife have transformed theses former home into a luxurious suites, each with their own personality and style. A little bit Moroccan, a little bit Mediterranean and very local Sicilian, the vibe here is laidback luxury.
I'd recommend this "slow living" boutique hotel for guests that want to appreciate the simple things, like the included freshly made breakfast with seasonal homemade juices and the spectacular pink glow of lighting up the face of Modica's breathtaking hillside each evening. With plenty of gardens, patios and a unique library, this common areas give you time for quiet moments in between your exploration of this stunning part of Sicily.
I was able to check out 2 different room types, Ibla: a Standard Double and Sciara: a superior double.
Check out my review of this unique hotel!

Yeah me too. One of these trips I'll visit Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica. They all sound amazing.
