  • Shari Franke, now 21, is the eldest child of Ruby Franke, who was recently sentenced to spend at least a decade behind bars. The Utah family of eight were all featured heavily on the “8 Passengers” UA-cam channel. Shari recently spoke to a state committee about the dangerous loopholes in rules that are supposed to protect the vulnerable. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber discusses her powerful comments with former Salt Lake County prosecutor Jeremy Deus and KUTV reporter Brian Schnee.

Its not even like this happened a decade ago, this was last year & it’s another experience of someone taking their stories, telling & profiting off of them with NO care or second thought for how that affects kids that have been through enough for ten lifetimes & should be allowed to focus on healing.
