This is one of the few good middle split tutorials on UA-cam. Well done!
Thank you 😃
Agree, most videos are by and for 9 year old girls.
Unity Gym Oh you know that I can do it and he’s going to be a real good one
Unity Gym But you know I’m still going and you know that I’m still going so when I’m going to Girl I’m gonna do the split as far as I can do it
Unity Gym There’s only one thing don’t split them pants
Remember to keep yourself warm throughout the whole stretching process so your muscles are more relaxed and more pliable. In cold rooms or winter LAYER UP with flexible clothing to trap the heat in.
Good advice
@@UnityGymOnline Oh yeah that was a good one and you know that was a good one I like that so keep it going and I will stay here with you
@@UnityGymOnline good more
@@UnityGymOnline good
I appreciate this guys advice. It's just that he has been practicing for a while so dont assume that you will be where he is if your just starting out. He is demonstrating on a more advanced level. Imagine if he just started for the first time it probably wouldn't look that cool just saying
Well ... Yeah, that's what happens when you practice, you get better 😃
I think this is THE BEST routine (n the best channel 🤟) I've found you now but if I've found you at that time, I may have achieved my mid splits by now🙏
Yay! Thank you!
These videos are awesome, I've been teaching myself for years but I wish I'd discovered these videos earlier!
Tom Green thanks bro 🙏🏻
Very good video, better than anything else I've watched and I've been looking for a while now!
Some of the best presented and informative videos available on utube awesome work guys
Thank you 😃
😊
Brilliant tutorial from these guys, I'm an old skool Martial artist that has stretched wrongly for years, so this science stuff is very helpful.
Thanks bro, really glad you liked it
you weren't stretching wrong. this is just to help progress faster. Anna McNulty doesn't do this in none of her workouts. watch how flexible she is.
btw, this works in other exercise like frog stance, etc.
I had the splits when I was a young gymnast. Now I can't even get to 90 degrees or sit upright in a straddle 😂 time to get flexible again with your tutorials. Thanks for the great content 👍
Thanks for the feedback Alex … we appreciate you.
Thank-You very much!!
you're welcome, thanks for watching :)
I've now tried 3 programs since last year's lock down began and I still can't get the side splits. I've done this Russian guys isometric, then easy flexibility and lastly yannis christoulous programme. I don't want to give up.
Flexibility and such difficult positions like the middle splits can take many years for some people to achieve. It's important to realise this. If you follow our principles and are consistent with the training you'll see progress. Patience and persistence are important with flexibility training.
Very interesting, thanks you guys
You're welcome Alexis.
🤸🏋️💪🏼😎 Amazing guys!! 🏆🏆👏👏👏🤩
Thank you guys!
You're welcome 😃
Good content, thanks gents
Great photo at the end! :D
😎
I can’t even do the Cossack squat, I guess I’m screwed.
Great vid though with lots of sound advice.
Great stuff 😎
Thank you 😃
I don’t know how long you guys legs are, but always have this feeling that if you have long long legs mobility is harder to achieve. Is there any truth in this or am I barking up the wrong tree?
sorry bro, it's a myth ... leg length has nothing to do with it :)
Unity Gym thanks, good to know.
Hi guys big fan 👍 was just wondering if you could do a video on front lever rows..? I am able to do tuck lever rows but was interested in any other progressions You may think are worth while to doing ...🤷♂️
It's just a matter of being able to do a solid front lever, once you can do that then the row will come. That said, we're still working on a solid front lever ourselves ... so we will give you some better advice soon when we nail the move :)
Ok... this is good content, after a couple hours training, I'd say 4-6 hours every day. I take 1 hour to streatch using some of these techniques, how many days for the body to fully recover before I start my routine again?.
for middle splits we only work it once a week ... plus daily gentle mobility :)
Thanks for the video, it help me a lot and it's really work, please tell me what's the thing that use in 2.46 ? bleu black that help u to the split
Ummm...that warmup was insane! I thought this was for beginners. Rest of the video was fine.
Hi guys what routine would you recommend to get higher roundhouse kicks I can really only
kick about hip height and even lifting the leg feels the front of the hips to be really tight when I do it. Im keen to stretch daily in the morning just work on flexibilty. And would do a seperate warm up before training. Any help is appreciated. Cheers
high kicks is tied to middle splits. the lower you can go the higher you can kick, so practice middle splits. but not everyday. middle/front splits stretching is intense(especially if you make 2-3 rounds of the routine of exercises) so you need to take a day off between sessions. if you do daily leg stretching you will overload the muscles and you won't see results. most likely you will regress.
should your knees be facing up or facing forward? as in should you be abducting your femur strictly with your knees facing forward, or is it more like sitting and pulling your legs backwards with your knees up? hope my question makes sense.
Forwards puts more medial pressure on the knee … doesn't really matter in regards to flexibility gains. Just depends how conditioned your knees are.
Unity Gym but each way will put a different demand on your hip socket. Is one way safer than the other or is there a benefit of one over the other?
@@spacemansabs I (Rad) think it's safer if your feet point out a little :)
Sometimes I feel a strain on my left knee and hip joint when I stretch for splits, what does that mean?
If it's just a strain and if you only stretch two things are possible: weak/tight leg muscles or lack of warm up
also could be a lot of other stuff, but these two are usually the main factors
I was trying that side lounge (knee upwards) with no hands I could not get up, I have to fight an hold on to something to get up. Is there something wrong???
Of course not brother! Like all movements we need time to optimise our technique and get stronger in them. If you need to start with assistance, by all means do so and see if you can improve little by little each week. Keep up the great work!
I'm a beginner and has been doing the first 2 warm ups for a week and when I go on to attempt the split my groin hurts
that's understandable.
How many times a week can you do this routine?
we would recommend once a week ... then you do other body part routines on the other 5 days (1 day rest) plus general light mobility daily.
is having sore adductors the day after the workout count as the damage you were explaining at around 10min??
Yeah, take it easy and maybe back off for a few weeks to see if the pain goes away.
It's normal to have stretching doms bit you don't want to injure yourself
@@UnityGymOnline okay well the soreness goes away after 3-4 days but is now not as strong as it used to be when I started doing these adductor strength exercises
Thanks for the tips
@@retroworldgames139 I think this video will help you a lot! ua-cam.com/video/0zmzRH0bHpI/v-deo.html
When im standing i cant get down if my back is straigjt and my butt is straight....i get down if i push butt back andcbend torso is it correct ?
Man, it pays to have a better brother who knows what he's talking about. I'm tired of listening to trash that have no positive effect on random things I want to do :) If you can buy a better brother on ebay, I'm login in right now.
Handsome guys 😘🥰
