There has always for a while been a cure for cancer. It has never been officially released though.
To officially release a medicine to cure something, it must be approved to be safe, legal, and proven to actually help your body, and not just sit around and do nothing.
I would agree with you... if you were right. Pharmaceutical companies definitely have the mentality of money first no doubt but cancer isn't a simple fix a cure can just give. Everything we do in regards to antibiotics and such is to help our natural immune system. Just as the video discusses cancerous cells are often not recognised as a threat. This is not just that they give off immune suppressing hormones it's more becuase it is you. The cancer is you, the immune system is designed to protect you. Your immune system is automated and cant think for its self and its automated to not attack you... it's why cancer is so hard to deal with. The video discusses one way in which a cancer can evade the immune system, sadly there are many ways cancer can avoid been targeted.. we are fundamentally flawed in our design, better that we upload our minds to toasters and usher in the age of the mechanicum.
And that's where your wrong, cancer isn't just one type of disease but numerous types. Some we have the cure or at least can kill for good early on while others we can't.

I don't know the exact details cause I was a kid when I heard it, but fires that are big enough can cancel each other out when they come into contact. Maybe because they both use up too much oxygen or something, or they burned up eachother's fuel.
