- HDPE, stands for High Density Polyethylene, it’s a durable and versatile thermoplastic. It provides high impact strength, abrasion resistance, and toughness over a wide temperature range of -50 to 80 Degrees Celsius. HDPE sheet is resistant to corrosion, mildew and rot, which makes it extremely durable in a variety of environments. The maximum width of HDPE sheets that our factory can produce is 3 meters, and the thickness ranges from 0.4mm to 200mm. White and black are the most frequently produced colors, custom color is available.
UHMWPE refers to polyethylene with an average molecular weight of more than two million. Also known as, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. It is an engineering thermoplastic with superior performance. Different from the manufacturing process of HDPE sheet, UHMWPE is manufactured by compression molding.
UHMWPE has more excellent properties than HDPE, such as extremely high abrasion resistance, high impact resistance, good self-lubricating ability, and anti-aging. It can still maintain good toughness and mechanical strength at liquid nitrogen temperature. Excellent chemical and mechanical properties make UHMWPE sheet widely used in electric power, marine, coking, coal, paper, textile and chemical industry.
