Coming from a Yamaha YSP-2700 with a sub, do you think I'll notice the lack of subwoofer on this? I do like deep bass.

Wanted to clarify will the Panorama be able to work with Atmos using a TV that only supports ARC not eArc?? Or is eArch a must? Thanks
I found the Panorama to be a great Soundbar for the price. If you need a stand alone soundbar I found it to outperform the Sonos Arc. It's still not as refined soundwisr as for example the B&O Stage or Sennheiser Ambeo, but it did perform great for the size
Wonder how this stacks up to the JBL Bar 1000.
I wonder how it stacks up to the ARC, samsung 950/990 or whatever is LG's latest. The lack of a sub isn't great for movies though! should have a sub out port on there at that price...
B&W wants you to look at the Foundation series if you want a sub. They specifically designed this as a no-hassle all-in one. While I personally feel a wireless sub option would have been ideal it’s not what they chose to do.
I really want to hear one of these modern soundbars. Not that I would want to buy one I just want to hear what they are capable of over a good 2.1 setup.
Some purists may disagree but mid to high range soundbars are really good! the 80-400£$ ones just don't cut it and are the reason soundbars generally have a bad rep. it's not going to beat any AV amp with large floorstanding speaker setups especially with music but... you'd be surprised just how good they are!. I have the samsung q800a with the atmos rears up in the bedroom and I'm really happy with it, for movies it's not actually that far off my main rig. have a listen to the sonos arc or samsung q950/990 etc if you ever see them in store. I can't deny the fact however you could pick up a cheap amp and speakers and have a better experience, but if lack of space or having a cleaner look is important they can be better in some ways too.

These sound bars are not actually that bad in terms of price. A lot of these mid to higher end manufacturers like B&W and even Bose (surprisingly) seem to have decent priced sound bars that are all not bad for the price. Just wish they all had a sub output to add your own sub. Of course that would render their own proprietary subwoofers useless 😂😂
B&W wants you to look at their Foundation Series soundbar if you want to add a wireless sub.

I really don't think "Atmos" works on these sound bars. They're best used as stereo speakers.
Frankly it depends. There are many factors that come into play. The room dimensions is a big one. Generally speaking a well designed sound bar can definitely provide some psychoacoustic sensation of immersion. More companies serious about it use dear speakers. I’m sensing that those who really want to make the Atmos commitment are going to supplement the sound bar with four additional speakers. It’s really the only viable solution for a true Atmos experience.
