Never liked Amir Khan and I wanted Brook to win.
But HUGE respect to Amir for turning up to the press conference and admitting the better boxer won. A real man!

Karl Parratt I agree with you, he lost like a man
It was in the sky contract to show post fight ok
Clap at 15:02 was emotional - we’ve seen Khan as a teen at the Olympics and now at the end of his career. He’s fought the best, put it all on the line ; been a world champ and been knocked out - yet he’s always back. To all the haters - talking about glass chins . In 40 fights he’s had 6 losses. You don’t get stats like that with a glass chin. Will always be remembered as a legend
He’s definitely chinny but he has good powers of recovery and his chin seems to get better as the fight goes on, but I agree he is chinny! he’s never had great punch resistance, which is a shame because if he did I think he would of had more wins than he does!
@UC23crW6qB4RkyKj0jTqYdrA ok mr negative 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Forgot to mention has the heart of lion, that’s for sure!
i like khan but you dont have to be a hater to say he cant take a punch its just the truth of the matter i have been saying it for years if Khan was able to take a punch better i truly believe he could of been in the list top 100 boxers of all time and i feel for him because his attributes at his prime was through the roof and he worked and trained very hard he did his part in the gym he always did what he can control to the best of his ability but you cant do anything to be able to take a punch aside from being floyd and not getting hit also every time he gets hurt instead of trying to tie up when he's hurt and buy time clear his head as much as possible but he goes into survival mode kill or be killed and ends up him being finished granted he had 40 fights and only lost six times but the six times he has lost has been by knockout not only that he dam near gets rocked and put on skates almost every dam fight also if you just watched this fight and you dont see what people are talking about him not having a good chine i dont know what to tell you Brook was hurting him with almost every punch he landed not only that he dropped him with a jab
PS. sorry for horrible writing English not my first langue
He fought the best but lost to them though, and he's chin was obviously his weakest link. Every time he got tagged the chicken dance ensued.
One of the best post fight press conferences I’ve seen , credit to both fighters for showing great sportsmanship’s .
Its been a decade plus long feud, we had to wait but we finally had the closing we deserved and both guys can finally leave this behind, specially both being at the end of some great careers, they can now call it a day and enjoy the fruits of so many years of hard work and dedication. Those two were integral part of me following the sport while growing up, both are boxing legends in my eyes.

Well done kell different class
My respect for Khan went up massively seeing him at the press conference after the fight...He didn't have to be there...He could have scurried off to his hotel room like many do after a loss...but he stuck around...Buried the hatchet with Brook...even joked and smiled when he would have been at his lowest...BIG respect and showed his class...and to Brook for not being a douche and rubbing in salt...Good ending to a great fight and probably the end of an era!...Thanks for the ride Amir...It's been a wonderful journey!
My respect for Brook went up massively! So glad he remained calm let Khan run his mouth & let the Chocolate brownies do all the talking! Well played Brook well played!

Khan said he was going to knock Brook out, and I always knew that was never going to happen, because Brook was walking through GGG until his injury.
So how was Khan ever going to knock Brook out ?

@@DjNikGnashers walking through ggg is the most ridiculous thing anyone has said like ever. Kels great, looked good in this bout but my god man
My respect for Amir has increased, the way he hung in there and ended on his feet and then to turn up to the press conference alongside your nemesis after a crushing defeat is commendable.
Not at all
Fair point. But part of me thinks he got beat so badly that he has no choice than to be humble. Credit for his toughness but at his stage his team should've stopped the fight by round 4/5 to prevent any more damage. The question is would Khan have been as humble as Kell If he won the same fashion? I feel Khan has too many hangers on who make money off his back.but watch the Billy dibs fight u Khan see back then Khan had lost his speed. Great fight and made me emotional at the end of that press conference.
Khan showed how much of a man he is. Very impressive to get beat and still come out for the presser.
These Heavyweights need to take note
Heavyweights don’t need to take note, Khan did a great turn you didn’t have to end your decent and complimentary comment in such a patronising way. There’s no need to tar all heavyweights with a broad stroke just because of the behaviour of a couple of brooding losers.
9 times out of 10 a heavyweight fight ends in a knock, and a concussion which will mean an immediate trip to the hospital.
Love the way Dominic is the first one to clap soon as he seen khan enter the room, respect is always there, the best man won on the night.. Khan and Brooke both great warriors of Uk 🇬🇧.

I love it. That sportsmanship is what makes them both legends.
Bollocks. Being civil only after the fight following a decade of trashtalk shows how phoney the whole thing is.
100% the sportsmanship shown is what this sport is about. Be enemies for 10-15 years then to put it all to bed and shake hands and show respect to each other.
Absolutely agree! Trash talk is all part of the build up to every fight, no-one really spars their club mate like they fight an opponent. The honesty comes out after a fight in your "cool down". The post fight interviews when the fighters are still exhausted, can still taste blood and truly feel the honesty of the battle in every small body movement - that's when you see the sportsmanship. Great fight.

Kell Brook looked really good in there. When Brook is motivated and on he’s extremely hard to beat. I never saw Kell Brook as being passed his prime. Brook fought some of the best and most dangerous fighters back to back. I believe that Brook was in dyer need of a couple of tune up fights to get his confidence back especially after that broken orbital injury he suffered by the hands of GGG. A fight against Thurman would be a great fight for both men especially where their both at in their careers.
Good shout I forgot bout Keith.

The promoter said it all legacy fight great build up! For the fans. Grudge match just brilliant. Really couldn't be prouder of these two true British legends. Great start to the boxing year of 2022.
The level of respect and class shown here by these few men is a part of boxing and humanity I wish I could see more of.
Love these 2 all the best with whatever u guys decide to do been a pleasure watching your careers 👍
The thing is with khan .. he’s been living a celebrity life these past few years .. the hunger he had earlier on in his career lead him to be that successful he was but now it’s more of a pay check for him
He still would've lost.
True
Dam right he was a shadow of himself. The celebrity lifestyle has took the fighter out of him. Deffo needs to retire.
It isn't just that though, sometimes people are finished early, Rooney was done very early, as was Owen but look at Salah lewa Ronaldo Messi
Khan was finished it was evident during the bud fight and this was much of the same, he needs to retire now he's done it all save his brain cells
That little hug at the end is the wholesome highlight of whats been a great rivalry
I reckon these guys are gonna be bff from here on out
People have always hated on Amir but he has achieved some great heights in the combat sport. Big respect ✊🏾 mate. Wishing him a happy retirement
Will miss seeing khan in the ring legend for what he did for British boxing and kell brook huge respect always though he was a bit arrogant but he’s a good lad
Very classy showing in the press conference from Khan, great attitude. All respect to him.
Dom was right about 1 thing... Bomac didnt give a shit..was there 4 a payday..wasnt even listening
Damn straight. Just a big loudmouth
It wouldn't have mattered what trainer would have been in Khan's corner. The better man won, plain and simple. Hiring Bo Mack reminded me when Hatton hired Mayweather.
@@starrynight2311 Yeah Amir doesn't stay focussed, He doesn't have the patience for the end game, and he wasn't as fast. He definitely retiring, no point having permanent damage.
His misses choose his trainer amir said
@@markhill427 his misses proberly just wanted to be round Crawford so she could fuk him.
Respect to both men really inspiring great stuff 👍
Dunno why but I'm dying at Brook going through these bottles of water 🤣🤣 ' Pass that water thereee'
Poor guy was dehydrated still from making weight
He needs to go and pee in a bottle for anti doping straight after
Credit to khan, gracious in defeat and took it like a man, tough one to take for him but showed his true character
Great performance from Kell and richly deserved. Amir is such a brave fighter and took some heavy shots but showed resilience and tried to fight back. What a warrior. He has had a remarkable career and I hope he now retires and spends time with his family and businesses ventures.
Boxing can be a brutal sport and he does not need to fight anymore.
Well done lads, this is what it's all about. You put it all on the line and showed your true class afterwards. What a representation for England, well done.
That fight was a British Classic. Amir should be proud of himself in terms of his career. Special K is the King of the North🤴🏾.
Proud he should not be awful performance from Amir poppadom chin Khan
@@smokinhoff9209 lol
Big respect to Khan for facing the press and handling himself so well. I do like Khan but his fans, the Khan Army that let him down. At least they didn't cause a fight tonight. I guess they've matured a bit compared to 10-15 years ago
He was underhanded at every turn during the build up to the fight deserves nothing but contem
Yeah I agree he took it on the glass chin.
Khan deserves no respect. Loud mouth got what he deserved
@@jordysco8724 in what way was he underhanded?
@@jordysco8724 he's promoting a fight. Have you not yet realised that pro boxers/prize fighters do this to generate interest and money? Learn to take what boxers say pre fight with a pinch of salt
Probably the best press conference in sports for a while, great way to close off a long never ending saga. Good closure for all involved
That's what boxing is all about! Animosity for all those years and now they can put that to 1 side and respect eachother.
Truly brilliant fight. That embrace at the end says it all. Very proud of both English worriers.
Khan has been humbled.
Great fiighter's great respect. Congratulations Kell. Best post fight interview. Respect to Khan.
Proper class them two it's so nice to see the respect between both of them after a great fight well done lads 👊
Khan’s energy is amazing. Almost emotional watching this. Beaut 🤩
To say Khan was scared to fight Brook or vice versa doesn't make any sense. They were in different points in their careers, Khan fought killers like Canelo, Crawford, Maidana, and campaigned for fights with Pacquiao and Mayweather. Khan clearly has a better resume in most boxing circles, but Brook was ready his entire life for tonight. Big respect to both men!
Some will always say Kahn was scared all these years. I think after what we witnessed in this fight there in fact some credibility to that statement. At the end of the day, all I know is that this should should have taken place in 2016. At that point both fighters were still in their primes, and fought in the same weight class(147)… Why the fight never happened, I guess we’ll never truly know. Instead of Kahn moving up in weight to fight Canelo, and Brook moving up in weight to fight GGG they should have fought each other… That train came and went, and could have been a huge huge fight back in 2016. I’m glad there is at least some closure, albeit way past due. On a positive note Brook looked real good, I think he deserves a big fight. Him v Benn would be a great fight. As for Kahn, it’s time to hang ‘em up. He had a good career overall.
Khan was definitely scared because losing to Brook back then would have been 10x worse than losing to him now. He was too dog in the UK and the blow to his ego would have stung worse than anything
@ery That only kinda excuses the delay of the fight. For the Canelo fight Kahn was guaranteed 2 million plus a percentage PPV sales. For the GGG fight Brook was guaranteed 3 million plus a percentage of PPV sales(was PPV in England). So I get each fighter had an opportunity to make big money. But in 2016 Kahn and Brook were very popular in the U.K, specifically England. That fight would have also been a big money fight, each fighter would have probably made at least 2 million each at least. Plus PPV. So that argument of they opted for bigger money isn’t exactly accurate. Moreover that still does not excuse the fact the fight didn’t happen after in 2017, 2018… Why wait till 2022? The reason why I hold Kahn more responsible is because he always spoke bad about Brook all these years, and he’s always had/has the bigger fanbase. Surely if he wanted that fight it would have happened. But he was ducking Brook all these years imho, and I think with what we witnessed today backs up that statement. Kahn has always been chinny and he knows that. Brook would have always knocked him out. They both are to blame though, just I think Kahn did more to purposely delay that fight for as long as possible. They should have fought each other in 2016 period, and Canelo and GGG should have fought each other that same year. Problem solved everybody makes money.
@@rant21 Oh I completely agree. Kahn spoke bad about Brook for years. For some reason English fans always loved Kahn more, but Brook was always a more skillful, stronger fighter. We all know Kahn has been chinny throughout his entire career. Brook would have always knocked him out, and yes possibly in even worse fashion. Would have been devastating to Kahn’s ego, not because he hadn’t been knocked out before, but because it would be by his own countrymen and Kahn couldn’t stand for that.
@ery Why are you being emotional? Moreover why are you insulting me? Can’t stand to be wrong? … How about we do this. You provide a credible source of Kahn v Canelo fight purse, and I will do the same. I know for a fact Kahn made 2 million, Canelo made 3 million. Plus each fighter got a percentage of PPV sales.
As for me saying Kahn is more responsible for that fight not happening is because he is. He was always going to be the A side against Brook. Unfortunately English fans always supported Kahn more, I don’t know why Brook was always a more skillful, stronger fighter. If Kahn wanted that fight to happen in 2016, 17, 18 it would have happened but he didn’t.
I do hope these 2 great British fighters can now become good friends, they are both great lads… 🇬🇧❤️
Nobody gonna talk about how Bomac instantly ditched Khan after the fight, left his ear all bloody and him all beat up. Dayum. 😂
The pain in Khans eyes is hard to watch.
Good fight.
