This clearly still is in Haye's head today, and explains a lot of his trash talk in favour of Wilder. I thought highly of the haymaker until 2011 and the 'broken toe' excuses for the Wlad defeat,...he just went downhill fast.

You could see Haye was genuinely scared when Fury took his glasses and told him 'i'll knock you down and if you get up, i'll knock you down again and...'
      Haye's was blinking and swallowing.
His arrogance and bravado were transparent and Fury could see through him and mentally destroyed him.

He didn't want to waste energy in a slanging match and thought that by not reponding much, he'd not give Fury much to say. I would have Fury as the favourite but it's no mismatch. Fury has a low output and Haye had the speed to avoid punches coming his way so a lot of the rounds could've been close with neither man landing much. Haye definitely had the power to drop Fury and a knockdown or 2 would give him an edge if it went to decision (which it almost definitely would).
