Not long found your channel Steve- another awesome video and some great angling! That Christmas Day common was particularly my favourite! 😊 bet he’s doing better in that big lake, keep up the hard work 😎
thanks for watching 🙂 Yes I couldn't believe that no one else bothered with those fish, the owner said there used to be one or two more buy gypsy's came down and caught them and took them away so it was nice to save a couple and give them a better life.
@@stevebriggs4638 thanks for the reply! Yeah I’d be happy with anything then nothing and I enjoy your very humble outlook that you don’t need a 50lb carp to be happy- But I get it does help 😁😅 & can I ask you a question Steve- I have already watched you catch so many monsters & I particularly enjoyed the Italian Monsters video, what a session! Soo….what is your favourite or one of your top catches you’ve ever caught?! I imagine there’s so many but often wonder which is your favourite? Tyi 🙏🏻
@@MidlandAngler88 yes loved that trip to Italy - loads of rain but such a good week!!! My top capture is undoubtedly the Black Mirror from the Mere, five years of hard work and a task that seemed impossible for so long but it all came right in the end.
Haha - loved the crimbo jumper! Another great video - free-lining 3 grains of corn and Christmas common...brilliant! Loved watching how you had to move the bait a few times to avoid the smaller fish - I think I would have chickened out for fear of blowing the swim - great angling!
Hi mate I just wanna thank you for the good videos I have been bed bound for the last 6 months due to a motorbike accident and can't wait to finally get out on the bank when I'm healed tight lines
Very entertaining video Steve, never having been to the south of France I must admit I thought it was a lot warmer down there. I'll bet it's warmer in the summer !!!
Brilliant video again Steve!! Just watched it with a nice mug of tea and snow outside. It was lovely to see the pleasure you got from stalking those smaller carp! You are definitely not a "big fish at all costs" angler, which is probably why you are so liked and respected! Where's the next trip? I can't wait!👍
Thanks Richard really glad you enjoyed it!! Catching the 52 at the end was more of a relief than anything but stalking the smaller fish was by far the most exciting bit - it was like little nature reserve over there, Mink, wild boar and all sorts were regularly around that little pool and yet no one else was even giving it a glance - it felt like my own little world especially when my bait was going every day! :-)
hi steve , got 2 questions for you if you would be so kind as to answer them for me ,no1 ,what line do you use in the uk for your fishing , no2 what would be your second choice , thanks ,ATB les
Well, I only use Nash lines for all my fishing, but D-Cam mono in either 12lb or 15lb is my number one choice for sure as it's so reliable and strong - second choice is harder because I've not used another line for a long time now!
hi steve , just watched this vid by nash ,Steve Briggs lands a 70lb Austrian Carp!, noticed you were using a clear line this time ,what was it please , only i ordered d cam to try , i am also looking for a good fluoro line for chods ,ATB les
The Christmas commons friends wont believe him , missing for 6 months then coming back x-mas day with tales of strange green and tinsel clad anglers, they'll think hes been abducted surely?
Again stunning angling and a bloody good angler in action! I always look forward to your vlogs. 1 of or if not the greatest angler in Europe.
Thanks for watching Daz glad you enjoyed it :-)
You make nice movies about carp fisching i love too Watch them thanks
Another great video Steve...
thanks Stuart

that little pool looked the most fun...new form of carping holiday where you roam shallow marshland foraging for carp
Nice one Steve 😊😊😊
