Great video as always Steve. God bless queen Joan. What a wonderful life you both have. Hard work, but must be so enjoyable. Keep up your amazing videos. Make sure you keep him on his toes Joan ❤.
Another great showing Steve..........your slip D is still working wonders for me including my best ever French trip a few weeks ago managing 28 fish!..............keep them coming pls, love them mate
Hi Steve you are like the Morgan Freeman of carp fishing.... I could listen to you all day long.... great work again to you and Joan at a tough time of year... keep up the great work...Rob
i always watch your sessions with passion...you give me the feeling back...good old times as i started carpfishing...1995...i remember those great times...you and your wife and family live long and well...the carpscene needs you! You represent it in a very special way!
thanks Im really pleased that they give you that feeling - yes this was very much like the old days, so many times these days we need more action, more fish etc. but this was the fishing that I loved and still do!! 🙂
Cracking film again steve love all your experiences 👍 Question for you mate? The arm you use for your deeper on your boat where can I get the arm from as looks spot on ? Many thanks steve for doing what you and Joan do showing us all some stunning locations around the world where you fish, and not forgetting the stunning monster fish you catch along the way Purely awesome mate! Lots love to Joan and you all best 👌 👍 lee ❤️
I actually got the arm direct from Deeper but they are based in Lithuania so that's not going to be an option but I'm sure they are available online from somewhere. To be honest just attaching the Deeper with a length of line or cord is just as good.
well done Steve and Joan you both stuck alot of work in and nice to see that part ov it, two loverly old mirrors and that last one was a proper battle gave yer clutch a good work out, tight lines mate atb
Always a brilliant watch. Carp fishing for 45 years myself didn’t go to Cassien back in the day & I’ve never fished abroad…I must admit I’d be intimidated by such a vast expanse of water. Good angling mate - All the best to you & Joan 👍🏻
Another superb video Steve , absolutely awe inspiring stuff . You have to brave to tackle those kinds of venue 💪, you were one of the true pioneers of overseas Carp fishing, and you're still doing it today . Fantastic 👍❤
Great video mate, can’t wait to get to try some European waters, gives a great insight watching your videos and the scenery is unbelievable ❤ proper peaceful 👏 and some lovely fish to top it off!
Superb as always Joan and Steve, always reality in your vids and proper down to earth… couldn’t Nashy release carpy bags for life ? We all end up with them in the swim and he could proper take the piss for prices as per usual.
Did enjoy this watch Steve, like it's back to the original days of massive public lakes and barrages! I would love to have a go at that last lake you fishes so as a massive long shot can the venue be named or even dm'd? Contacts and lake info is probably the hardest part of carp fishing these days! All the best Steve 💪
thanks and I understand what you're saying but out of respect for the other guys fishing those waters I promised not to share names - they'd kill me 🙂🙂
@@stevebriggs4638i suppose the mutual and common respect we have for are other anglers is a fine thing and values to be upheld! And well can't blame a guy for trying 😜 enjoy the next adventure Steve and best of luck to you 💪🐋
Great video and great carp from a great angler well done mr Briggs!👌do you think carp can actually see different colours I.e. pink yellow etc..even on the bottom of a lake bed where it's dark/black??kind regards David
thanks Dave. To be honest I don't really know how much they can actually see but I don't worry about it too much either, some of the presentations that I've seen carp caught on makes me think that most of the time they can't see what's down there and for that matter aren't clever enough to work out what they are.
no it sounds the obvious thing to do but on those big lakes it takes a really big wind to move the fish and what you tend to find is that there are lots of areas where the wind is blowing in to. Another thing is that the wind can often change direction several times in a short period as the lakes tend to be in valleys and the fish would have to swim miles to stay on the end of the wind.

Joan & Steve. Hard earned fish. All the better for it. Lesser anglers may well have blanked. Keep 'em coming, quality entertainment, every time.
they were tough results to come by for sure but just got to keep trying 🙂

On lakes this size surely you would head on the end of the wind not just set up anywhere ?……..❤
