Theres nothing more I can say about steve ...every carp angler can learn something from this awesome angler....keep up these excellent videos steve....👌🐟
Awesome Steve. That was well put together and the fish where all stunners mate 👍. You cannot knock scopex squid it does the business 👍. Look forward to your next trip and you and Joan stay safe. Awesome 🙏👏👏👏
Absolutely gorgeous filming, great big carp , steve mate you and joan just bring a smile to my face every time I watch your videos very calming stuff, I myself had so much success on scopex squid bait over last 30 yrs its done me proud, and now in stablelized its just awesome take it anywhere. Looking forward to seeing your next video, im struggling away on my winter water just waiting for the fist carp to get on my bait. Kind regards all the best to you both keep safe 🙏 Lee 👍
i’ve had the Kingfisher 😳😁 just once on my rod fishing for fry at Barlow fisheries Derbyshire at 5am mist on the water OMG opened my mozzy net quietly and he sat there for a good 10mins 👍 PS i caught on that session 😁 but i’m sure he caught more !!,great memories
Amazing stuff Steve/ Joan some lovely fish they was proper on you guys I use the slip d multi you should show how u tie that way was that tubing up the the shank ? Brilliant watch take care 👍🏻
I'm afraid to say this kind of takes the magic out of carp fishing. Oh how I miss the 80's and 90's when so much was unknown. Maybe it was just being young but it was the struggle and the elusiveness of big carp that was the gold. No disrespect to Steve but this feels like a commercial carp fishery in the UK and I'm sure that there are Angling industry guys who dream of creating a draw your peg style pool, stocked to the hilt with hunched back monsters where 30 pounds is a toddler, here in the uk. Who knows with climate change it may be achievable. I imagine there are football fans in England who feel a bit the same way about the premiership. I'm sorry but I just imagine that the arm ache after a session like this would feel a hollow victory, and I would wish that I had explored the architecture, the food and the culture.
Strange comment you can’t live in the past and every water is different, there have always been easy and hard waters and I fish them all at different times……
@@Itwasntalieitwastrueinmymind absolute rubbish! What spoils carp fishing is people who can't let other people enjoy what they do without having a pop, there is every type of carp fishing out there to suit whatever you want so why not just let everyone do that!? never mind the 80's and 90's I go back to the 60's and 70's but I don't dream of going back in time and I let everyone do the fishing that they want to do, whether it's what I like or not.........
All sorts of reasons really. There are certainly more fish in the second lake but a few people struggled to catch anything. It started slow for me but they definitely came to the bait. Just right place right time right tactics.
@@stevebriggs4638 i always use scopex squid in lakes and strawberry nut crush (park waters) an 4 nuts from boezembaits. Keeping rods out to catch some sleep instead of fish is epic!
Glorious filming yet again Steve and some beautiful fish. I'm curious on what your thoughts are of the three 100lb+ carp caught recently, are they on your target list? Cheers
Thanks!! good luck to the guys, three 100lb carp is incredible but it's all relative, I'd rather have one Cassien 70lb personally but I have fished the lake previously and it was ok but it's not in my plans to go back, but each to their own.
Wonder if you did al the baiting with de spodrod or did you had the permission to go with the rt4 because it was in the film next to you’re bivy. Anyway you are a legend man keep up the good work

Absolutely spot on. The magic & mystery is gone in a place like that.

Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙂
Enjoyable film as always
Thanks Ian 👍🏻👍🏻
Hy mate whic lake is better sumbar or zajarki in croatia? Good film congrats.
Right now Zajarki is the better one, both have lost fish but both still hold good fish.
Nobody wanted that area and you had 20 odd takes in a night!!! SKILLS=LEGEND
Yes no one saw that coming 😁😁😁
What a beautiful film, Steve. The difference between lakes, is that due to stock, temperature or learned behaviour of the fish?
All sorts of reasons really. There are certainly more fish in the second lake but a few people struggled to catch anything. It started slow for me but they definitely came to the bait. Just right place right time right tactics.

Lovely Steve. Do you use scopex squid through the winter months?
It will work all year but when it gets really cold I do like to switch to the Citruz

😄😄😄 I’ll need a bigger van at this rate 😆🚛
@@stevebriggs4638 I might get over that way. Got my eye on Rainbow at the moment just to experience it. Nice fish though you've had nice one 👍👍👍
