    “Create an Inch of Space HERE” is the sentence that changed my life 😅 Said by K. Morgan in one of her ballet hacks videos. And HERE is basically where you pointed. So yeah, this absolutely clicked for me, after struggling a lot with my posture in ballet class after a loooooong hiatus. I couldn’t figure it out until I started to approach it like this. A complete game changer 👍🏻

    These videos are so helpful. What clicked for me was about thinking about the bra and hip line, with movement in the middle.

    first, just to say I LOVE your channel! Thank you for breaking everything down. Regarding my core, I'm wondering if you have any ideas of exercises to do as part of daily life, whilst sitting down or walking maybe?

      Thanks for your comment and I'm so glad the videos are helpful! While walking, definitely try the exact thing that I mentioned in this video. Lengthen your spine and try to close your ribs in the front! While sitting, you can also do the same thing, but also think about opening your chest to enable you to pull your shoulder blades down your back. Keeping good posture throughout your daily life will not only help with ballet class, but also help with a healthy spine for a long time to come!

    I blew my core out numerous times working construction. I think it's called diastasis recti. I'm trying an exercise called Dead Bug with limited results. Is there anything else I can do to get rid of the beer belly look?

      Ouch! Sorry to hear it! Dead Bug is a very popular one for core stability and "stitching" those muscles back together. I personally worked with a local chiropractor to rehab a back injury and he did a video on my channel about core stability. It's possible some of his suggestions may help, though I do not know of their safety for usage with that injury, as I know you do need to be careful with the intensity of core exercise in that case.
