Be careful with the Neem oil. It does have a level of toxicity that can be dangerous, so I'd probably wear gloves and make sure I wasn't barefoot and walking on the oil on your back porch there. Mainly the toxicity is from ingesting it directly, rather than simple skin contact, but I wouldn't take a lot of chances. So be sure to wash your hands, etc... Sorry to hear the garden is under attack. Do you think the recent hurricane could have been a cause of the sudden attack? Growing things is a hard business. I'm reminded of that old show "Little House on the Prairie" where so many times it was drought, hail storms, or some kind of blight that was always a worry in the show for their corn crops. And they were dependent on each year's success to have enough money to invest in the following year. They could save a little during really good years, and they just had to hope that whatever they were able to save would be enough to see them through the not so good years. I remember the father in that show having to take odd jobs, usually dangerous ones, when he'd had bad years, just to make sure that he had enough money to feed him family through the winter or enough money to invest in the seed for next year's growing season. Growing your own food definitely isn't for the faint of heart. Keep up the good work!
This was actually an old video i released to my members like 4 months ago... the Neem oil worked but we battled it for like 6 weeks, lost a few plants too that didn't like the oils but in the end we won out. The food plants in the garden have done amazingly this year and this summer even with the storms they've thrived! Currently eating the heck out of green papaya salad that someone gave me the basics for, it's delicious & my papaya trees loaded to the brim! Gotta love a garden! Well fruit trees more so (more yield and less work) but it's all tasty to me!
The Neem oil should help with mites. And spray all your plants thouse mites are now in your house. Best things if you like organic is other bugs ladybugs, praying mantis, you can order on Amazon. Wasp are really good at it too
Yeah, this was an old video, but we fought them for about 2 months with Neem oil and other things to finally rid them. Lost a few plants along the way too!
Mites or aphids 🤔. Wash them off and wipe off with a wet towel. Keep away from other plants. Careful with the neem oil. After you get it cleaned off some Damascus earth will help keep them off. I garden, also do bonsai's as a hobby 👍😀
about a week ago we had so many of the little white bugs , it looked like it was snowing . are they some kind of aphid ? might see if you can put in a green house to keep the bugs at bay . hope you can save the plants .
If your gonna keep those plants in such close quarters you might want to invest in predator insects. There not cheap, but they can be effective. you'll want to overnight ship them. There popular with greenhouses.
We actually treated everything over the course of months and then sold our home. We've since thinned out our plants probably 80% as we'll be renting while we build. Close quarter plants is a disaster waiting to happen!
The day I thought would never come has come for me too, I've started wearing glasses. heh. /watches the video, it might be serious business i'm making light of.
Food-grade diatomaceous earth, maybe. Inexpensive and non-toxic. Make sure it is food-grade, though (the non-food grade is toxic to humans, plants, and pets). I use DE on my outdoor plants. No infestations thus far. You would have to reapply after watering - every time. However, you can get a big bag pretty cheap and a little goes a long way. A quick Google search will give you a ton of info on it. Hope this helps. Good luck. Stack On!
We went with Neem oil, it worked, had to go like 6 weeks with it to knock it all out. Sold off most the plans now since selling the house... this was from like 4 months ago. Good to see you!
Well, it's better your plants catch a case of the mites rather than you catch a case of the scurvy, Aye aye, captain. Permission to come aboard, arrr...
Growing marigold flowers. And placing them near your plants will help with a lot of natural pest in Florida. Hope that helps
Yeah we've got marigolds in the flower beds, but never thought about it with the patio plants!

Yeah these things were a total nightmare to deal with... Got em with the Neem oil but it literally took weeks to rid them!
Good luck with those critters. Sounds like you've have a solution 🐜 🔨
Neem oil knocked em' out, but was brutal on a few of the plants!
That sucks Pirate. Did you get it under control. Thanks for sharing brother🏴☠️🏴☠️
Yeah, this was an old video, but we fought them for about 2 months with Neem oil and other things to finally rid them. Lost a few plants along the way too!
If it's sooty mold, there is spray for that. Neem oil is good. Mites, not sure. I'll text you a picture of the stuff I used.
We hadn't noticed any mold, but there were for sure little white critters moving around... such a pain & they seem to spread so fast! Arghhhh!
Good luck. I use Seven Dust.
O dang. That's crazy
They were everywhere!
insecticidal soap is good for plants you eat or smoke
Hahahaha this made me laugh, wound up using neem oil!

We went with Neem oil... took a while and lost a few plants but we came through it... this was about 4 months ago on my members content...
Thripes. Use a couple drops of dawn dish soap in a spray bottle of water should do the trick. Good luck.
Wound up going with the Neem oil, took like 6 weeks but we got it knocked out!
Damn sorry to hear, my friend, hope they will survive, but definitely you have to spend extra time and $ on them
Most did, we got em' knocked out over almost 2 months... Sold most off now...
Bummer 😞
It was, we since sold off 80% (after fixing) and have a much smaller more manageable bunch!
Good job, Papa Plant. Or the Pirate Planter.
Hahaha, thanks man, it's been an adventure!
That sucks, hope you can get rid of that crap! Fingers crossed for ya! Get you a drink and some sleep : )
Oh we did, it happened a few months ago now... took a good few weeks & lotsa Neem oil...
about a week ago we had so many of the little white bugs , it looked like it was snowing . are they some kind of aphid ? might see if you can put in a green house to keep the bugs at bay . hope you can save the plants .
Wow, what a hassle! How did it all go?

@@PirateStacker Glad to hear. Nothing worse than watching love get wasted. 🙏🏼

Such a pain to deal with, took 4-5 weeks worth of neem oil to beat the buggers back!

Good luck I don't have a green thumb
Luckily we dealt with this a while ago now...
Springtails?
Not that I know of...
The day I thought would never come has come for me too, I've started wearing glasses. heh. /watches the video, it might be serious business i'm making light of.
Oh no, your poor plant babies, they need nit treatment.
Yeah glasses are no fun for sure & this was a total mess... Wound up treating for weeks with Neem oil, it was brutal!
I've got a black thumb, so no input/advice from me! 🤨
Hahaha it's for sure a learning experience without a doubt man!
