Louie Vuitton designed Qiyana's(Becky G) second outfit in this video. They also designed a "prestige" version of Senna's(Keke Palmer) skin in the game. When this video was released, LV also released a League of Legends clothing collection ranging from 1,600 to nearly 6k. It sold out immediately!

The first dude in the beginning is named Ekko. His character in the game can basically manipulate time. He's gifted, cocky and proud and everything plays off that SOOOO fucking good in this song/video. "Moving too fast. Life is moving in slow-mo. I'm a God. Better ask if you dont know." "...you forced to oblige to a king in his prime" "I keep on shattering time. I might just leave you behind." All the teleporting, distortion, flipping upside down, the whole mc escher-like perspectives... that IS his character. I love it so goddam much. The level of talent executed here from top to bottom is absolutely INSANE!
Glad I wasn't the only one who recognized Keke's voice the moment Senna opened her mouth. I grew up on Nickelodeon too! Keke's got the voice of an angel. 😍😍

So, League has 3 bands: True Damage (a hip hop/rap group), K/DA (kpop) and Pentakill (heavy metal). All the characters are from the game, but in these 3 cases they are promoting skins for it, just alternate looks for the character. Ekko is the first/last rapper, he is a character, and this is $15 skin in game. they even got Thutmose to voice it, the first rapper. DUCKWRTH is the beat switch one. Becky G is Qiyana (the first girl rapper), Keke is Senna for the chorus, Soyeon is Akali (the Korean rapper, and she also is in K/DA) and Yasuo is the DJ who has no lines.
Also any League music video has closed captioned lyrics that even translate the other languages if you wanna get the lines right.
Okay Qiyana was snapping she came out with flames from the gate and Duckwrth my bad if I was about to get on him but he came through at the end with the run it up run it up 🔥
@@Risktakerjodi Yeah Ekko had two rappers for him. I see you're checking out the live version, but I might suggest watching the whole 2019 opening ceremony. It features 2 other League songs that have separate videos for themselves, but are performed before and after GIANTS. both bops. Checking out all of the music videos Riot has made is highly recommended tbh. :)

Those are all league of legends characters and "True Damage" is the skin line they are promoting. Also if you're enjoying those bars, I suggest "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons ft JID. JID has a sick bar in there, "Enemy" was for the 2021 worlds opening.

I don't think I have seen anyone give you an over view of what the game actually is. It is a 5 v 5 game in which you choose your Champion (Ekko, Akali, etc...) and go on to Summoners Rift with them. They all have different abilities and roles in the game, ex: Akali is an Assassin. The end goal is to gather gold by getting enemy Champion kills, creeps or killing neutral minions and then using that gold to become stronger by buying items, breaching the enemies base and destroying their Nexus. At that point you have won the game. KDA reffers to Kill/Death/Assist, which is your main stat line in League of Legends. Hope this helps! Love the reacitons!
