you don't get tetanus from rust. you get it from animal shit. old farmer logic being, if something has been outside long enough to rust, it's been outside long enough to accumulate shit dust, thus tetanus

    • @oozubek
      @oozubek 3 роки тому +1

@@schlomoshekelstein908 not necessarily animal shit. the dirt does also contain bacteria unfortunately thus if there is rust and dirt around, be sure that there is tetanus bacteria saying hello.

Couldn't agree more with the method you've used here. The lack of texture is one element that gives away points for authenticity since the appearance must be modeled using dimensional media that lends a 3-D effect rather than just a faux finish recreating only color. Thank you.

You may well consider Dragon Rampant.
I've played 1980's Grenadier Elf and Barbarian armies ( owned by the man who used to paint for them), with various Warhammer armies.
I'm currently painting a Reaper Bones Giant and GW Imperial Militia units for the same game ( If I want pistol armed skirmishers, I can have them).
They're allied with Trollbloods, Bears, Dwarves and are soon to joined by Grenadier Horse Archers ( thanks Mike!).
Never had anything else than a close game.
PS I won't mention the min-max Vampire Counts army nobody would play in a Warhammer game.

Just so that I won't have to watch this video again and again:
    1. paint in medium grey
    2. add incinerated white with a sponge, more on most affected area (for texture!)
    3. same with flat brown color
    4. tank's color (here it's yellow) in tiny bits around places where the color might sustain the rusting/heat
    5. enamel rust (reddish brown) color ('streaking rust effects') over the heavily textured part. blend edges with thinnner
    6. to blend the rest of the exhaust use more thinned enamel rust color ('rust filter')
    7. speckle lighter rust color
    8. brown wash for the bolts on top
    9. black pigments for some parts where the grime would be
    10. and that's it my friends
