      Yes, I have loved that game ever since I learned about it in 1971, from the book by RC Bell. I like to introduce it to kids, and they always enjoy it greatly. Share your thoughts and knowledge of the games any time

      AncientChess yeah, I've held the board upside down, and only had a few pieces slide

    I don't think the go board should be 13×13 because it's REALLY unlucky numbers you have to deal with.....

      hey, now you're getting spooky on us! It's one of the many traditional sizes used, before 19 x 19 became the standard. I'm sure you'll have a good game. Just don't walk under any ladders!

    I kinda want an magnetic go set. But 13x13 wouldn't satisfy me and 19x19 magnetic boards are just too small. They hurt my eyes when I try to read out sequences on them. Unless you buy an full size or slightly smaller than full size. But I wouldn't call these very portable.

    Do you still have rules available for Go and Five-in-a-Row? I tried to find them on ancientchess.com but was unsuccessful...

      Thanks for asking. The Go rules are on the downloads page.

      I don't seem to have the 5-in-a-row rules there. If you contact me through the AncientChess.com Contact link, I'll email them to you

      Great -- yeah, I have that too. Neat little set. I like how easy it is to see the Chinese characters ... and the way those magnets shake inside their shells ;)

    • @AncientChess
      @AncientChess  7 років тому

      Thanks for the question. I just haven't quite got it figured out how to make my camera and editing software create the right shape to fit in the UA-cam screen. Some day, I will be far more advanced....

      Just got too busy. I've got a lot I'm trying to do here and never enough time ... something always falls through the cracks. Much I want to do still with UA-cam!

      AncientChess have u tried to change the aspect ratio of the video?

    • @AncientChess
      @AncientChess  7 років тому

      Thanks, yeah, I've tried a few settings. The main bottle-neck in my video creation now is that I use Microsoft "Movie Maker" to edit. A very glitchy program with very limited options. I want to get a 'real' sound/video editing system, but just haven't taken the time to figure out what to get and learn a new system. Some day...
