It's amazing how God uses lives to touch and impact other lives. I clearly remember the impact that Megan's teaching on one particular night had on me and how it has changed the trajectory of my life and brought me into more intimate fellowship with God. I remember coming to church feeling very despondent and hopeless to the point where I had a plan to do harm to myself that night. But I still went to church. In her message, Megan talked about the Gospel being good news as well as our identities in God. When I left church that night, even though my problems were still there, I knew that something had changed dramatically and I moved in a different direction from where I was heading. Had I not listened to the prompting to go to church and had Megan not talked about hope and good news and our identity, my story would have been a lot different and I probably wouldn't be writing this. It is such an amazing blessing to have teachers that are so real and so honest and so committed to the love and grace and truth of Jesus Christ to help lead us into more intimate fellowship with God.
