I think you have just reset the standard of how to do a product review on this channel. A really great, comprehensive review on an interesting product. Keep em coming!
Blyde, will it affect car alarm with proximity sensors? Don't want false alarms being triggered during parking mode. I'll come and speak to you asap at the next car and coffee event, not at the bagged event though 👍🙂
I've watched a few other review that all said that night recording detail was a bit poor, was this improved since with new firmware? I think it was because it lacks HDR?
Sorry to say the radar parking feature doesn’t work on my u 3000 despite numerous calls to Thinkware customer service an expensive piece of kit and its main feature doesn’t work very disappointing
I know this video is for the u3000 thinkware camera but can anyone recommend a camera front and rear with wifi and gps built in as this u3000 you have to purchase the gps optionally . I have around £330 to spend . I had a nextbase 522gw but it had to go back as the internal camera failed whilst the camera was under warranty and Nextbase wanted £10 from me so they could send me an internal battery which I had to get fitted or £30 for Nextbase to do it and I wasn’t paying that. I need also an alert to my sons phone to tell him his cars been hit. The 1 time he couldn’t get on his works carpark so had to park in a side street he came out to find his off side rear quarter panel and rear door has been hit and the other vehicle left no details so now it’s a cost to us to get the damage fixed

This was a great review! Seriously! Thank you
Appreciate the footage. As will be acquiring one this weekend. Thank you - nice one.

Hopefully they can fix with a firmware update. But yes image is below the 1/3 the cost viofo 139 pri
So does this version not need the extra sensor for parking that the U1000 did?
No it’s built in, part of the inherent cost increase between the two.

Hi , does it come with obd power cable
Yes it does
Please how can i get remote live view on connected app for my U3000. I have got mifi hotspot device in the car. Thanks
Can I have Android car play and the dashcam connected at the same time?
but is the quality sufficient to be able to read it?
since July until now Thinkware connected still cannot registration
Why they making the cords so thick instead of making them flat? Is this a common sense question or it's just me thinking about it?

No where near I would be able to see you clear on that rear camera in the dark. 😂.
Its a shame that you can do remote live view or get impact notifications with energy saving or radar parking mdoes (according to Thinkware). Argh!
Price is over the top expensive
Sadly, the U1000 has better video quality
