I want this specifically for the dark decay tone PLUS the mod to emulate a worn tape delay. If I wanted pristine delay, I would use a digital type, like a Boss DD-3. Perhaps the name “Carbon Copy” is misleading, but a great pedal nevertheless. Conversely though, the best tape and drum emulators are digital as well, lol. Best of both worlds here at a great price!
Thanks for this demo. I was really curious about this pedal. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks a pedalboard with mostly delays is an acceptable idea. 😆
That is absolutely unacceptable. It should be ALL delays.
Finally. Getting access to the modulation is so nice. Opening the back up to get the internal trim pots is a pain.
But so worth it...
Can we connect wall speakers to it for speaking to the people in a hall?

do you know how the 3 internal dipswitches of the MXR tap are to be set for use with the CC Deluxe in order to toggle from setting a to setting b?
How do you get at the internal dipswitches in the Carbon Copy Deluxe? The bottom backplate does not have regular screws.

Can it be used for wall speakers to deliver a speech?
You'd need adaptor cables, but technically yes. female xlr to male 1/4 inch going in, and male 1/4 inch to male xlr coming out.
Then you just patch the pedal between the microphone, and the input it plugs into. If you're using something like an intercom system however, you probably can't patch this in without cutting some wires.
Useless demo for me because the stupid mod function is on most of the time. It doesn’t really demonstrate the pedal-who is using the mod function regularly… nobody
First, the modulation doesn't even come on until 1/3 of the way through the video, so there's plenty of "regular" delay showcased. Second, this is an analog delay, so the modulation option is one of the main reasons to buy it. Why would we not demonstrate a KEY piece of this pedal??? 🤔
@@pedaloftheday for 2/3 of the video no thanks. Besides, the mod isn’t even a good mod. So for me it was a useless demo
We're trying to demonstrate how ALL options and aspects of these pedals work and function, guess this pedal just isn't for you, but it certainly isn't a useless demo...hope you find a delay you like!
