I really like the soft ethereal look in all these images Russ. Great comment about finding irregularity amongst the regularity - that's very true of woodland photography and you summed it up really succinctly. Fantastic shot at 6:44. 👍
At the end of the video, I have included a comparison between the RAW photo and the processed photo. Let me know if you found that useful, and if so, I'll include that in future videos. Thanks for watching 👍
I had a little bimble around Thetford Forest a while back Russ - a lovely area - 01:25 was a lovely scene and image. Totally agree taking your time , looking patiently is a pre-requisite for woodland compositions. That beech at 04:02 was a great find and would look stunning with some mist. I was out scouting in the rain in a local woods this morning and that rain haze really is quite ethereal - only had the iphone but definitely a spot to return. Great to see you back and loved the scene at 06:43 / 08:33. All the best mate.
Great to see you back Russ - the images were superb and i really liked the unprocessed/processed comparison. Another really relaxing watch - thanks and see you on the next one.
Great to see you back mate, hope you had a good break, thinking of taking a break myself. Love the images in this one we just don't have trees like that here, I miss the UK woodland for sure. Thanks for sharing and once again welcome back.
Good to see you again Russ! Beautiful woodland area and some nice soft conditions. Some lovely pano images in this one, really loved the image at 4:02 and the one pathway image at 6:42 with the tree hanging over it. Hope you are doing well over there!
Thanks Paul, all doing well. It's good to be out with my camera again. Have you moved state yet? Are the blue ridge mountains near where you're moving to?
@@RussWeymouthPhotography we are currently house hunting right now. We will be moving no later than August. West Virginia is in the Appalachian Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains are just to the southeast of us in North Carolina, an easy drive.

Thanks Rob. Woodland Photography is so dependent on the conditions - hoping the spring warmth arrives soon!

Thanks, Andrew. I'm thinking of doing some street/urban photography sometime this year - Cambridge is a possibility and London Docklands.
@@RussWeymouthPhotography the polar opposite from the tranquility of landscape photography Russ but highly enjoyable and recommend 👍🏻
Happy to see you back, Russ, lovely pics, thank you, for sharing your forest outing .
Thanks Sorin
Lovely to see you back Russ! I must say, I do love the compositions you found and the way you edited them! They look really lovely.😊
Thanks Ash.

Thanks, Rob. I may also show the raw/processed photos in future videos. From watching Adam Gibbs, it's always interesting to see that comparison.
