I was hoping for practical information on how this will actually work on my washing machine, how to hook it up and how it actually works. Obviously I'm already aware of the issue of microplastics if I'm looking for a filter.
Hello Vanessa, to see how the Filtrol is installed and connects to your washing machine please refer to this video ua-cam.com/video/k-SdIYUhufE/v-deo.html . Please note this is an older video and the filter bag seen within the unit has since been improved/updated and has a slightly different appearance then that of the filter bag included with Filtrol units sold today. All install instructions in this video have not changed and still suggested for all installs to date. If you have any further questions please contact us at wecare@filtrol.net. Thank you!
I'm purchasing mine to protect my septic system. But it's nice to know that I'm also contributing a little bit to protecting the environment. I don't understand why some of these people get all prickly when you remind them of the realities of environmental conservation. I guess they would rather purchase their filter from somebody who doesn't care about the environment, because that's the American way. And by the way, there are several instructional videos on this product, if you just take a few extra minutes to look for them.
Bingo. That's the American way. We're the center of the universe, we're the only country that matters, we'll dump our pollution wherever we damn well please, F the environment, and screw those uppity Europeans and Commonwealthers who call us on our smug, self-righteous ways.
Great to hear you are looking at the Filtrol to mitigate microfiber pollution within your septic and the environment caused by our laundry. We hope you notice some great results once you order and install and if you ever have any questions please just contact us at wecare@filtrol.net.
Here is a question you might benefit by answering: How will this help in the average persons laundry, if they don't have microfiber clothing? I would like to encourage you and everyone selling things that help the worlds situation (particularly the sea animals dying at an increasingly rapid rate).
Hello Barbara Reed, thank you for the question. The great thing about the Filtrol is that it catches more than just microfibers. Human air,pet fur, sand, glitter, are just a few items you will find in your filter bag after doing laundry with a Filtrol. All mentioned items can be troublesome for the environment and drain pipes. And if you only wear natural materials, like cotton and wool for example, although biodegradable, they still shed just as much if not more than synthetic materials (microfibers) and capturing them before they reach the environment or your drain pipes, where it will still take time to degreade, will be beneficial. I hope this has answered your question and if you happen to have anymore please contact us at wecare@filtrol.net.
I just wanted information. I don't need this pretentious overbearing video lecturing me why microfibers are bad. I'll get my microfiber filter from some other manufacturer.
Hello instrax, we apologize you did not find this particular video informational. If you are interested in how the Filtrol is installed/works please refer to this video ua-cam.com/video/k-SdIYUhufE/v-deo.html . Please note this is an older video and the appearance and efficiency of the filter bag has been improved. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at wecare@filtrol.net. Thank you.
Hello @@seawolf2144, thank you for your input. All videos on this channel do show the current Filtrol model. Please note that the Filtrol unit it's self has not changed at all, meaning installation has not changed either. The reason for changing the appearance of the past filter bag is to improve its perforance. We hope to have updated videos out in the near future.
