- Hey ya’ll watch me as I style my hair in my favorite protective style “Mini Twist. These are Mini Twist with a twist; I braided the root first then twisted my hair for a longer wear. In this video I used Design Essentials Chébé collection. Using thier Anti-Breakage Moisture Retention Shamoo, Anti-Breakage Moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner, Braid & Twist-Out Strengthening Créme, and Strengthening & Curl Perfecting Mousse. I may need to try mine like this. I usually do my mini twist on wet hair just grabbing & twisting but I blow-dried and jammed my parts with my mini braids last month and I kept them 3 weeks!!! they still looked good but 3 weeks is my max when I protective style. I take about 5-6 hours doing mine too
Yes try this method and let me know which you prefer better or if you like them both the same! I think it’s just preference!
I kept my mini braids in for 4 months straight lol took them down in January and just took down my next set of mini braids that only lasted a month because I missed my hair

I’m not the only one that has this blow dryer and had to duct tape the comb attachment because it kept falling off. lol. I just bought a red kiss handless one.

Omg 🥹🥹🤣🤣😩😩 lost me at Texas.. wish you were in Cali.. I’m currently having a whole fit because I only have 1 stylist that I really trust to do these on my hair.. when I say she understands the assignment everytime… it’s hard when she’s busy or booked.. long story short, I tried a new stylist and she did not understand the assignment.. I’m gonna try to execute this style myself.. I’m really feeling the parts and the sizing of them.. I need some tips.. do you have any tutorials or videos of you parting your own hair???

You can get this at a braiding shop… they can do it quickly if you don’t have the patience lol
