Comin' in with some Classics....whaaat?! 😉 I adore Trollope and I'm so excited to hear what your wonderfully critical mind thinks of The Warden! The Pickwick Papers is one of my favorite from Dickens; it's humorous and yet wonderfully chaotic...kinda like Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome. 😬 I'm up for a re-read of either (or both) if you are so inclined. I keep meaning to read the Complete Father Brown Stories, which has been on my shelf for 3 or 4 years. 🙄 I like the idea of just _dipping_ into it throughout the year! I think I have The Flannery O'Conner collection, too though not with that awesome cover. Matter of fact, I may have donated the one I had in hopes of getting that edition. I'll have to see if I still have it. 🤔This was an awesome haul! 👏🏻
@Lu.G. Got my Flannery from Walmart and last I saw the awesome pricing is still valid. Same cannot be said for their Wordsworth classics which doubled in price last week. I am up for a buddy read! Maybe not in January though, when you see the Pile you will understand why. 🤣😅😂 Father Brown will be good for dipping into all the year. 🤩
I actually enjoyed Udolpho, but I admittedly read it during my awful, terrible, no-good master's program, though that class in particular wasn't too bad.
I could have sworn I'd read Kate Morton. I have maybe 5 of her books 😮 on my shelf. Lol. I guess I "assume" she is going to be a favorite if I ever get to them. 😂 My Dear Hamilton I havent read. I did read America's First Daughter a 5 star read for me. Stephanie Dray is amazing. ❤ I think you will like her work.
I'm with Roni on the transitional graphics! Nice!! I loved Station Eleven when I read it. There is a hook at the end of chapter two (or was it three?) that would be tough to wriggle off of!
Such an awesome haul!!
I'm so curious to see what you think of Trollope!!
Alabama...❤....

Oh my gosh that edition of Tess!!!! 😍
@@miriamelizabethreads It was quite the find!
Ooh I love those Don Quixote and Moby Dick editions! I have zero desire to read Moby DIck but I look forward to hearing your thoughts. 😂😂 Great finds!
@insearchofwonder Even if Moby Dick lives up to its reputation, the book is gorgeous.
Udolpho is quite the journey - I found it so entertaining even thought it was meandering at times.
@@miriamelizabethreads It is going to be another experience 🫣😅

@Veronica.Roni.V grinch hood was supposedly a nightgown but a. too hot and b. too short! LOL
