    I hope you win, Justice Melody Stewart. I really do.
    How could the OH Supreme Court rule that boneless wings is a cooking style, and there's reasonable belief there will be bones in boneless wings?
    1. Boneless wings are NOT a "cooking style."
    2. Boneless literally means without bones.
    3. Can the OH Supreme Court be overruled?
    The law is supposed to be equal. The law shouldn't care about a person's political affiliation, race, gender, sex, ability, etc.
    How have things gotten SO bad that the judicial branch is nonsense by some standards?
    Is there 15:17 anything that can be done to right their blatant wrongs?

    Nc did the same thing, made judges declare a party, then court became Maga repubs. It's been downhill here ever since. It's a tactic that really works, stacks the courts with raw partisans. It's super sad and frustrating here.

    It should be mandatory that the United States Supreme Court have equal representation for both parties. There also needs to be enforcement of rules about recusal If a judge is appointed by someone - that judge should not be deciding cases involving that person's interests. Judges should not be above the law. Sanctions, including impeachment, should be enforced.

    I am working with the Democratic Party in Warren County, Ohio and here are the ONLY THREE judges to vote for in Ohio: Michael P. Donnelly, Lisa Forbes, and Melody Stewart. Remember, if you are voting in Ohio these judges are not listed as Democrat or Republican. This means you have to write these names down before going to vote. Also, for Ohioans please vote YES for Citizens Redistricting Commission to stop Gerrymandering in Ohio.

    Do you have a citizen redistricting commission in Ohio??? You would definitely benefit from having one. Michigan ran a very successful campaign to get it on the ballot and it is working quite well. If someone could get ahold of Voters Not Politicians in Michigan I’m sure they’d help you to how do it, if you do not have one.

    • @colleensh
      @colleensh Місяць тому +2

      Their personal political affiliation is only one aspect of “who they are.” Also, it is a fallacy. Good judges are impartial and do not decide cases based upon political party lines. Adding political affiliation simply divides further along party lines as opposed to focusing on experience, record and ability to fulfill judicial obligations.

    • @lorriehiner4049
      @lorriehiner4049 Місяць тому +5

      Judges and justice’s are supposed to be impartial, non partisan. The law isn’t D or R therefore, a judge or justice’s personal politics shall not have any bearing on their rulings. A citizen’s vote should be base on their education, Bar Association credentials, support within the community, judicial or litigation record, years of experience and accumulated knowledge, not by their declaration of party affiliation. The very act seems antithetical to the ideal of Justice being blind. As a private citizen we have the right to keep our vote private, so should the judiciary, because party lines should never be a basis for decisions based on the rule of law and precedent. Do your homework, google them, their records are public and easily accessible. The people that decided to do this count on you being lazy, two words…Kyrsten Sinema.

    I am a subscriber and avid follower. Now the bad news:
    Please realize that the 3,000 year old "judicial system" is an artifact of, well, ancient civilization. They had to hold "hearings" because nobody could read or write. "Hearsay" was just a fancy way of saying gossip is not evidence. Hell, what if you just use a language besides Latin or Greek for your... juris prudence?! The case for modernization seems... prima facie!
    Please.
    The enlightenment didn't happen until... let's say Newton. That means "preponderance of evidence" is a farcical throwback to a time when wisdom was literally anybody who could still walk at 60 years old. Please update the assumptions of your field. Most things are not physics, and objectivity will take some work, but at least TRY for a system that uses objective, measurable, modes of decision.
    P.S. ... what's with the "robes" and the "bench"? Why are judge chairs higher than everybody else's? Wait. Are you gonna paint portraits where everybody poor is literally tiny and shown below the feet of the bigger king figure? What is this? Yet you want to pay lip service to equal justice for all? And precedent v statute... Isn't "precedent" awfully close to the word "prejudice"? 😮
