Hey Erica, Amanda (Weber) Ebner, Myron’s niece here. I was induced too and I also had Cervidil. They say that sometimes contractions can be harder with induction. I requested an epidural as well. I did not progress very much and eventually baby’s heart rate started to decrease during contractions, getting to the point where it would decrease between contractions as well and they put oxygen mask on me. Doctor watched monitor for a little bit, but ultimately decision was made that the best thing would be to do c-section. I would say I was in operating room in less than an hour after call was made. Surgery and recovery went well. We now have a happy and healthy almost 11 month old little girl named Emma Renae. Enjoy this crazy beautiful ride!
