- I have been running our Frontier Grooming Mower GM2084 on our John Deere 4044m for about 10 hours and wanted to share my thoughts. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a grooming mower or another commercial zero-turn mower. We already own a John Deere z915e to mow around trees so I decided to go with the grooming mower for the tractor. If you have a 4-series tractor and would like to know how well it handles a 7-foot grooming or finish mower then this video is for you.

We have a gm 1072 and were just putting a quick hitch on... your hook up points and hardware are quite different than ours... did you have to do any modifications? It is almost impossible to get any information on the set up of ours,
Bet it was Chevelle or Halestorm. That's what I listen to when enjoying the peace of the great outdoors.

Saw your video from the Facebook group. I also have a 4044. So far I love it. What’s the advantage over using the zero turn?
Right now the advantage is we can run 2 mowers at once. Because of my height I have hit my head on the roll over protection on the mower so that part wasn't fun.
