I’ve driven two power reversers, and they were both touchy, so I think yours is probably performing normally. But I agree, it’s sensitive. I got used to it after a few days though.
Do a video on the power reverser feature when you get a chance. I'm trading in my 3 series geared for a 4044m power reverser. I do a lot of loader work so the reverser should be a lot better.
Thanks for the comment! I just uploaded a short video on the factory exhaust dump location. It’s pretty well hidden. Hood stack is an option, or possibly dealer installed prior to sale on a new unit
@@Fever_Rides must be a dealer option, mine has the 4th and 5th remotes as well as the hood stack, only problem with the hood stack is you can't open the hood til the stack cools off enough to pull off, I suppose in a hurry I could pull it off with leather gloves.
@@davidmays2161I can definitely see that being a problem. I’ve had hood stacks on plenty of other tractors, and I’m happy this one does not. Tree limbs, exhaust smell, trying to open the hood….
You’re correct, I did misspeak in the video. The 4044 happens to not have an E model. So at the time, I knew I had the entry level package for the 4044 model. I appreciate the comment and for getting the correct information out here!
Great observation! It’s still on the parts shelf. I was definitely disappointed that this tractor did not come with one. I need to get one ordered this spring.
Do not trust draw bar pin! On our 2021 model pin fell out and destroyed control cables to a sprayer.we replaced it with a drilled pin and heavy clip.just sayin!
thank you Sir for the explanation of your great tractor looks really nice and I'm sure does just fine on the farm
Thanks!!
I❤JD😊
I also have the 4044m powereverser/ my foot clutch is so touchy… are they supposed to be this way? I bought it new in July 2023

Ours was too, perfectly fine.We liquid filled rears and added 3 wheel weights and is perfect now.

Thanks for the comment. I can get a video out on that in about two weeks. I’m on the road for work this week.
Im confused at where your exhaust pipe is. Mine sticks straight up out of the hood 3'

The 4044m is the middle. The e is the basic and then the r.
Meaning 4044e, 4044m, 4044r
