I think the red berry wreaths pull it all together so well. And they don't seem as bright when you're not right in front of them, like when you stepped out from underneath the porch. Everything looks so beautiful!! When it comes down to it, you're the one who is looking at it and needs to love it, so even if the majority of us are saying to use the red berry wreaths, use the ones that you like better. I like calm and subdued, but those red berry wreaths are by far the best choice! They tie in with those gorgeous window boxes sooo well!! Like someine else mentioned, they draw you in!🎄
I am definitely a fan of the red berry wreaths! Please keep them up. The other wreaths are very pretty too, but don’t stand out enough - use them somewhere else where there is more light and can be seen. Beautiful Christmas decorations!
I love everything about this. The red berries in the window boxes and the wreaths are very festive. The red bows on the balcony with the garland is the icing on the cake. It really stands out on your white house.

Instead of full blown red wreath, I say use the first wreath from JoAnn’s and add a beautiful velvet deep red bow to those wreaths. Simple but ties in with window boxes and pillows. Love the rug on top of the rug - been doing that for years! I think this is my favorite Christmas Porch design you’ve done throughout the years! Merry Christmas ! 🎁🎄 🥰❄️🎅🏻⛄️❤ 🎄

That’s how I felt about red in general. I was a silver and gold girl until my mother in law bought me a large artificial wreath and decorated it herself with bold red things 😳 I had to change things up so it didn’t stick out like a sore thumb and I actually love my red decor these days!

We are of similar thinking, but I’m liking the red. I like the pattern it creates!!! Also agree on cutting garlands, drives me crazy when they are not hanging down on both side of the door. Everything is looking gorgeous at you home, have so enjoyed seeing your Christmas 2022.

Love the whole look! The red wreaths are perfect. My thoughts on the little trees in the pots is next time leave them in the watering trays/supports to anchor in the pots. The weight of the soil will keep them from tipping, especially after you water & it freezes.
I left mine in the red watering trays as well and covered with pinecones but curious as to why you (Laura) cut them away and just put the trunks down into the dirt? What about watering them that way - do you have to keep the dirt supermoist?

I love it!! If you really want the wreaths on the window you can command hook the bottoms of the wreath to the glass (we have the same issue on our front door so use a magnet to hold the bottom from banging/swinging) but I think the window boxes with the holly are gorgeous and more than enough! Love the pops of red and the red wreaths on the doors! If you do want the green wreaths could you put a few of the brighter red cranberry picks in to make them pop more ?

Here's an idea about the urns next to the front door: bring in some of the long, lighter colored pine cones. I think I've seen you use those before. That will give you the texture and color that you need to finish off the look!

Here's a tip if anyone wants to save $ and doesn't have any PW® Arctic Fire® Red Twig Dogwood planted in your yard...yet-
Buy the tall, WHITE-painted branches you can find anywhere and spray them a fiery, festive red with "Rust-oleum® 2X Ultra Cover Gloss" spray paint in "Colonial Red." With that speific red sprayed over the white branches, the color is perfect!

Yes, keep the red berry wreaths! In the video your doors look black with white borders, so the red in the black part of the doors really pops!! The wreaths bring together the red from the pillows, window boxes and pots. Love, love!!

definately agree with Aaron, keep the red berry wreaths....and I would add large GOLD bows on top of those obliscs... just fore something else = also up in CANADA we use Fishing line to attach wreaths, and keep them from being blown away by our wild Winter Winds..... try that.

Laura I was inspired by your winter urns so I used a one of my “critter/deer proof” cloches as the “frog” and foraged red twig dogwood, magnolia and arborvitae from my property and I think it came out so well. Do you ever use arborvitae for winter urns or wreaths? It didn’t dawn on me until I saw it sitting in my compost pile for MONTHS not fading at all and I thought, well, those will be hearty for winter greenery.

I love the berry wreaths. Are they real or fake berries? I foraged some berry twigs, but the berries kept falling off. Is there a trick to keeping them on, like a spray? Did you show us the process of making the berry wreaths? If so, I missed it.
Such FUN! I love it! I think the red wreaths really tie it all together because it picks up one the other red in the window boxes and upholstery. I am so enamored with the red twig dogwood especially another video where you used bunches of it, I looked online, did some research and found one for my area but holding off ordering it until I check with local garden centers to see if they carry some. The little Christmas trees are just adorable! I might have to do that this year!
Questions #gardenanswer do the window boxes need watered? What are the branches and pines etc stuck into? Or is everything just placed and intended for the Christmas season and then wilt like a Christmas tree would?

Love how the portico turned out! Definitely keep the red. What about the ornaments in tones of green idea you had for the mantle? I think you mentioned it last year but hadn't found enough ornaments to get it done. Green is one of my favorite colors so your comment has stayed in my head all this time.

I really like the red Berry wreaths. I think since the doors are so receded you need a little bright spot to draw you in. Love the window boxes. Gave me inspiration to do my window boxes. The porch area looks so inviting.

I like the natural wreath. It makes the total design more sophisticated in my opinion. I wasn’t sure about all the holly berries, but in the end the overall arrangement looks fabulous, especially with the more subdued urns beside the door. Love the overall look!

I love the red berry wreaths. It helps draw your eye from one side to the other. But you could always layer them over an evergreen wreath. That stacked look is really pretty.
