Yep, apologies for the hiatus, this video was set on hold for 10 months already and I just happened to finish it.
With the release of Brutal Doom v22, I figured I'd finally review Emerald's Brutal Doom fork.

3:18 ledge grabs are a PB feature aswell.
Dodge rolls were there even in the OG BD aswell.

Though I looked thoroughly through BDv22 and I didn't find anything related to those.
@@CptVityaz I have played both v20 and v21 and still found them there.
Maybe sarge just forgot to implement them in v22? You should find it in the regular controls menu rather than the BD specific one.
@@necrosteel5013 After you mentioned it, I went looking for the option, lo and behold, it was there.
But in my defence, it was tucked away deep in the settings lol.

I love BD platinum myself I just wish there was an option to disable the spider masterminds from hanging off the ceiling

I am probably in the minority here but I whish there was a more "streamlined" version of brutal doom, so far I like v22 but I sort of miss the simplicity of older versions where you just had the enhanced vanilla weapons and expanded enemy deaths. I know that bdlite exists but that fork removes damage localization and dismemberments which are my favorite features.
