High Speed Pacer! | Northern 142051 Speeds Through Water Orton

Last week a working was penciled in for 3 Pacers to go to Butterley from Gascoigne Wood, this would drop off 2 Pacers and 1 would carry on to Newport Docks at the scrap yard but this working was cancelled. It was however rescheduled for today so we made a trip out of the house to go to Water Orton to film a Pacer going for scrap
142051 had gone from Gascoigne Wood to Butterley, 142011 and 142013 had been dropped off as both Pacers have now gone into preservation, 142051 then left Butterley to go to Newport Docks Simsgroup for scrapping
The lone Pacer is seen speeding through Water Orton, i hadn't expected it to come through at this speed, the driver certainly gave it the beans and dare say this was the fastest that this unit has ever been
Talk about blowing out the cobwebs!, this unit has certainly ended its life on a high note to have come through at such a high speed. With a few more Pacers having entered preservation I dare say there will still some that will be sent for scrapping
