The entire series was so good but this episode really stands out as a perfect piece of animation. The story, the direction/ cinematography, pacing, atmosphere, musical score, everything just adds up to such a powerful and memorable episode. This episode has so much budo, is so manly that women almost shouldn't be allowed to watch, like, this is ours, you can have "50 Shades of Grey", deal? Lol
I absolutely adore how technology has only improved in functionality, so there are missiles and machine guns, but on spears and peg legs.
