Thank you for doing the Sewing Bee videos, Kate! I always look forward to these, especially since I cannot watch them here in the USA.
A great final video Kate. I too gasped when Pascha chose the lace, but my whole neighbourhood must have heard my squeal of delight when they revealed the MTM at the end… DRAPING! And what a stellar job they all did! Really exciting final, I couldn’t have chosen between those final three. 😍
I really enjoyed this episode! Although I thought it was a bit mean to suddenly have a completely new method of clothing construction in the final challenge of the final episode - they’ve had draping challenges earlier in the series in other years, which feels a bit more reasonable! And yes, that opera glove challenge looked very difficult - I made a dress once that had a 0.5 seam allowance on a couple of specific pattern pieces round the collar, and that was challenging enough. I can’t imagine doing it with the fingers on a pair of gloves!
Thx again for the Bee pattern picks - have enjoyed every episode. Sad it's all over 😪
What an odd way to make gloves! I've made leather ones and the gussets were separate pieces for each finger - fiddly, but much easier. And of course the seams on leather are even tinier. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. Very fun adjunct to the show.
Thank you Kate and Rachel. Love these videos. See you for more Bee roundups next year 🤞
Thanks Kate and Rachel for these weekly vlogs
I saw your video in my feed and was so happy, because it made me watch the episode. And now I’m enjoying your video about it.
Thanks for the video. Really enjoy them and I know they take such a long time to make! Sad the Bee is over for another year. Moment of the series was surely the 'gay icon/eye candy' comment from Luke's model. 🙂
I am not able to watch these shows….so living it vicariously through you is fantastic! Thank you Kate and Rachel! XOX
Oh why oh why is this show not available in the USA!!!
I am in Canada and I’m able to watch it on Reddit.
vpn?

Thanks for doing this recap of the Bee. I can’t watch in the US so enjoyed it. ❤

Thanks for all your hard work Kate and Rachel 👌💖. I couldn't believe how hard that was for them... but they all did amazingly well I thought 👏🙏. Roll on next year 😜🥰😘
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much. I love the effort you both put into this. It really adds to The Sewing Bee experience. I did think, this will be a short video, when they were draping the made to measure. But no, you finished it all off beautifully ❤
Thank you. Would have been weird not to round off the series. 😊
Great vlog as always Kate, well done you have done a great job ❤❤❤
I was screaming to Pasha to not pick lace, too. I think they all did a fantastic job with their final makes. I had hoped Pasha might win, but Luke’s mtm was outstanding and they were a deserving winner. Thanks, Kate and Rachel for your hard work finding pattern picks!
Thank you and Rachel and your team❣️
Thank you. I always look forward to the sewing bee x
Thank you for this lovely series. Sad we have to wait another year. Maybe you can do an episode about Esme Young her dresses?
Greetings from Belgium 🧡
I know she has such great dresses doesn't she - we do have a couple of blog posts about her style:

@@TheFoldLineThank you so much for the inspiration, it is a great article 👍
Thank you for all of the episodes. I loved them ❤
Thanks so much for the series!
Yes I was rooting for Pasha I think she had good skills but Luke did very well roll on next year xx
Thank you 🐝
So enjoy your summing up, it prolongs the pleasure of watching the Sewing Bee and thanks for looking for the patterns… really difficult. Etsy have some vintage patterns that give a nod to Pasha’s look, a pleated cowl/shawl top is easy to find both mainly with a plain shift dress skirt or the full 1950’s new look skirt e.g. Lady Marlowe Patterns 8915, Vogue 2134 or Butterick 1980s patterns 5371 & 5897. Also McCalls 1990s patterns 4670 & 6035.
Thanks so much Kate and of course Rachel.
I was so stressed out last night watching the show, I nearly died when Pasha chose the lace, even my husband gasped !!!!!!
The 10 weeks have simply flown by, I have enjoyed all of the series and your follow up vlogs. What I shall probably do is go back to watching
the series again from the beginning on I player . ( How sad is that 😆) ???
I think the first viewing doesn't count 😆
I was disappointed for Pascha given her technical skills was strong from the start, but good on Luke for always being so OTT ambitious in his makes, all 3 were deserving and Luke nailed it on the day. I mean who dares to put a zip in a serviette!
omg I thought this last episode was soooo hard (I’m glad I wasn’t doing it 😂) the 1st challenge I would of picked lace straight away but after seeing her trying to make the gloves I realised that it was a total mistake 😳, then the second challenge to make something out of all the party crap I thought omg what on earth could be made outta that sh*t 😳 I would of found that REALLY hard but Luke’s dress was so good 😁 & the last challenge I thought it was a toss-up between Pasha & Luke both were great & I really liked both but I can see why Luke won 🏆 can’t wait for the next series lol xxx
I mean, drafting on a mannequin??? That was a crazy challenge.
Ibexa makes a glove pattern that's quite similar to the one they used (the gusset isn't as shaped)
Yup, I can't watch it either, as I'm in the US. Really stinks. But I loved trying to visualize your descriptions and I have started following GBSB on Instagram, so was able to see snipers of the show.
Mrs Depew patterns has some patterns for gloves with the finger gusset things and UA-cam's Nicole Rudolph has a fascinating videos on gloves
Butterick 4260 for opera gloves?
Thank you so much for your videos! This is the year Sewing Bee jumped the shark for me. I won't be watching in the future. But I'll watch your pattern searches (and other videos too)
xXX👍👍👍
The line-up and of course the new host are all so box-ticking and contrived, but that's the BBC for ya.
Thank you for all your hard work. It adds another interesting element to watching the shows. 👍🏻🧵🪡
My pleasure!
