Everyone loves seeing Gwen because she is not only beautiful, but the very essence of kindness, intelligence and positivity. We are also admirers of Yanis who is such an inspiration for working hard to reach the goals. Mick has his own fan club made up of people who wish they had a supportive and knowledgeable father like him. Is there anything that man can't do? I have heard you, Billy, thank your father profusely, thank and praise Yanis profoundly, and thank and show appreciation to all the many people who help turn your dreams into realities and turn your goals into their achievements. You are very fortunate!
More Yanis cam? What a treat! I know we all keep saying it, but he is a great worker. He has such enthusiasm and joy out of the work he does, even when it's just small cuts. He's lucky to have you guys as mentors and friends, and you're all lucky to have him working along side you.
Fun fact: "I" beams like the ones Yanis was sawing off were invented in my hometown-Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. My father worked for Bethlehem Steel, and I have two sets of bookends made from the cut ends of I beams. They make great bookends or doorstops!
My dad was a metallurgist at Bethlehem Steel. I was born and raised in Bethlehem. The steel industry was the mainstay of Bethlehem for many decades. Steel beams built much of this country and apparently, the rest of the world!
The GoPro shots from the Yanis Cam and the Billy Cam really give a feeling of being right there. Love that Billy feels he now has the time to explain some of the processes. Many, many thanks for all the fabulous angles Alex!
Look at Yanis!!!! He not "only" learned so many fantastic skills, he even learned another language 😊...besides coming over like a man with confident. Bravo🎉
Almost forgot how much Alex brings to the channel, flawlessly editing together all the shot angles he gets with the drone work and now Yanis Cam. Even the drive to and from Brico adds great context. Well done!!
Not only has Yanis learned many skills, I love hearing him speak English. He sure has improved and picked up the tongue over the years. Well done Yanis.
It's so great to see a young man with leadership skills, ambition, work ethic, and creativity make his vision come to life! I'm talking about you, Billy. You're amazing.

Alex, it’s great to have you back. I love that there’s less slowmo, more head cams, and more mixed camera angles. You’re improving your craft and skills mate. Keep up the great work!
Loving the longer content, and the Yanis & Billy cam, thank you Alex. 👏🏼🥰👏🏼 Yanis has come such a long way in his apprenticeship, Well Done! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Billy- Wow, this project seems to be coming together so quickly it’s crazy 😝 I’m sure with your vision it’s going to look stunning. 💛💛💛
Billy, my son, says the same thing as he points to his brain("It's all up there!) and brings construction projects or dirt moving with his heavy equipment. Thanks for explaining things. This granny loves watching old buildings being renovated!
Billy, don't worry if you don't tell us all the details on how and what you are doing, I find it highly unlikely any of us are ever going to be buying a convent and putting in a balcony library. It just blows my mind. It is going to be so beautiful when it's done.
Excellent job; my goodness things are moving along. (A safety note, and that is Yanis's loose necklace poses a safety issue in that leaning far enough forward or lifting a piece of timber close by could detract for just that one second of concentration. Your father's work coveralls are the best on a worksite; even a loose T-shirt can catch on scaffolding, a door handle, etc.)
My goodness!! What a delight to have Alex back to take the filming load from Billy's shoulders! It has freed you up, Billy, to do so much more and explain much more to your viewers about what and how and why you are doing what you are doing! Well done all! Love that Yannis has a 'cam' as well! Keep them coming and thanks so much... It really is getting more and more exciting with every new vlog!!
Billy, I love how you are so meticulous in everything you do. You use quality material and you got Gwen's approval, which is important!! It is so fun watching your dad and Yanis, they are just too cute together, as a team. Crack On ! Very lovely film work as always, Alex!😊
Love this project!!! Your Dad is amazing he works just as hard as anyone on your team. Never miss a vlog!!! And yes I like every single one!!! Crack on!!!!
Also an observation, I am a structural welder, and one of the universal rules when working with load bearing I-beams is that you are never supposed to drill holes in the flanges, even a small hole can substantially weaken the beam, all holes should be drilled through the web not the flange. With as large as those beams are it will probably not be an issue, however if you have an inspector come in who is persnickety they can fail you on principal.
Yannis is getting an incredible amount of value from this experience. He is making money and investing into an increasingly more valuable set of skills. Restoration is such a beautiful thing to witness. Congrats to all
Well, well. As our friend would say: "Bless your little cotton socks!". I never expected it to be done so quickly and with such an intelligent repurposing of materials. One of the best builds I've seen in a long time. Bravo all.

Seeing the angle at the end that Alex captured really shows how bowed the original beams are. The accuracy you guys have held to for the library area is amazing and perfect. I can't wait to see the way it will look in the end!
Billy, why take up just one panel at a time? Can't you take up several at a time? Seems it would make the progress go more quickly. Or use those panel cranes to lift up several to be ready to use when you need them. Not so much up and down one at a time.
I like the individual cameras. They give a change of view that’s interesting. Loved to see Gwendolyn, we don’t get to see her or the kids very often. Which I totally get. A construction site isn’t probably the best place for small, active and curious kids!
I don't think there is any doubt about the library Gwen. It is going to be spectacular. Just like your husband and family. Thanks Alex, Billy is so much happier now you are doing the filming. 😀

I thought the plan was Simon was supposed to learn French. We need to lean on him, when he gets back, to up his French.
From the last shot that Alex gave us, you can really see how much the beams are bowing. It’s incredible what you have done. The progress is amazing!
Those old beams are tired.
