Hey Ya'll. I took the plunge and tried an at home keratin treatment. We'll see how it goes long term but so far so good. What are your thoughts on keratin treatments? Yay? Nay? 💭🤔
I used to do chemical relaxers on my hair. After a lot of hard lessons learned and learning about how beneficial Keratin is to our hair... I will never turn back. Long love Keratin lol!!!
@@reneem.1809 I feel the same way. I plan to continue using keratin treatments. It’s changed my hair for the better. 👏👏👏
It damaged my hair
@@savvy_1 love your video! But I have to tell you, I tried this one over a year ago and the fumes killed me too. I was crying even with 2 masks and a fan on lol but I loved the results so I kept using it. BUT GIRL, I switched to their inverto 60 express gel and the results were insane. It's by the same company, keratin research, and it's formaldehyde free. Plus it actually smells good, like flowers almost. Please try it, it changed my life 🙏🙌
@@neer.7292 Really?! I’m sorry to hear that. I didn’t have that experience. Thanks for commenting. I hope your hair is doing better now. 🙂
Most detailed review on any keratin treatment!! AND it’s actually a treatment we can buy without a cosmetology license!!
Thanks!!! I’m happy that you enjoyed the video! ✨😄
Yes ..awesome video
I've spent $400 each time I got my stylist to do my treatment. I bought the same product 1 year ago but was unable to fathom doing it myself. Your video gave me the courage. Great video. Thank you for being so thorough. Love your energy and spirit.
You’re welcome! I’m happy that I could help. I hope things go well for you. ✨🤗
Did it work?
@@Danceswithfishes I’d love to know if it worked for her too. lol 🤷🏽♀️
How’d it go?
400?😳🤯 These stylists are charging the most nowadays 😐
Thanks to your thorough and beautiful results, I decided to take the leap and enter the world of keratin treatments. My hair stylist did it a month ago for me and when I had my hair appointment last week, she could NOT keep her hands out of my hair! She said my keratin treatment will probably last six months! The manageability has changed my life and I just wanted to thank you for being our guinea pig. Your hair is absolutely stunning. Bless you!!
You’re welcome!!! It’s definitely life changing. I love the results. I would love to have someone do it for me as well. But if I can save a few coins, I’ll do it myself for as long as I can. Thanks for watching! ✨🥰
The first time I got it done by my beautician, I absolutely felt the product in my hair afterwards. After I did my first shampoo that all went away. It looked fabulous with superior body, shine , manageability & long lasting style, with intentional curls. It took about 3 hours @ the salon. I love the effect of keratin on my hair. Your hair looks beautiful.BTW your shampoo & conditioner should also be Sodium Chloride free to prolong the effects of the Keratin.I never needed to straighten my hair everyday for a few days. I only use the flat iron on wash days. My hair had great styling versatility & I was not boxed into a completely straight style.
Awesome comment. Thank you so much to watching and thanks for the info. ✨🤗
I did mine but my hair keeps shredding . Like many long hair strands and short ones falling out.
Pls tell me what other products do you use for styling after the keratin treatment ?
Thanks in advance
@@abiolaadeyeye1903: sorry to hear about the shedding. As per my dermatologist Keratin treatments are not recommended for damaged hair. It does not fix damage, it only makes it look like it’s fixed. It can actually make damaged hair worse. It’s for ppl who want hair straight, frizz free, shiny, great body, faster dry time , softness & protection. It affects mainly the cuticle.
Botox treatment doesn’t change your curl pattern & doesn’t contain potentially dangerous chemicals like formaldehyde. Chemicals like formalin, methylene glycol, etc are essentially formaldehyde by another name. Formaldehyde is the chemical that actually straightens the hair, not Keratin. Products other than Keratin blow outs or treatments are safe to use ( shampoos, conditioners , serums, etc) ordinary Keratin will fill in any spaces in the hairs cuticle to make it smooth &’ shiny.
Botox is a superior conditioning agent & hair smoother, without any dangerous compounds. It’s much better for damaged hair, thin or fine hair. It provides excellent hydration, softness, shine, body, great slip, strength, elasticity & helps hair to remain frizz free. It lasts about 3 months. It seals in all the good ingredients of the formula & penetrates down to the cortex to help repair hair strengthen & protect it. If your hair is drastically damaged, a cut is the only sure fire way to get rid of severe damage. Botox can help prevent further damage depending on the cause. There are no bad fumes, skin or eye irritation. It makes curls really pop with shine & body & straightened styles look luxurious. Still must use sulphate, paraben, sodium chloride free hair products to maintain it as long as possible. Products containing Keratin & or silk work great in promoting the effects of the treatment., ( as long as you are not protein sensitive ) . In your case I would recommend that you get it done by a salon @ least for the first time, to get optimal benefits. If you recently got the Keratin treatment, you should consult your stylist about how long you must wait to get the botox hair treatment Knowing the type of hair you have : porosity, texture, it’s condition , your hair routine & any chemicals you have used, helps to determine the best products to maintain / promote a healthy head of hair n
Hope this helps dear.
Wait you went I 450 degrees sis - do you wear your hair curly??
@@STP255 : yes , I know my hair well, so in some places IE, middle back, inner portions of my hair I used 450 degrees because it’s thicker & resistant in that location. I used 400-425 degrees everywhere else. I’ve never sustained any damage, likely bcuz the ingredients protected my hair.. I’ve had nothing but great results. I always wait until the product is completely out of my hair b4 applying again. When new growth gets thick again, I use a shampoo & conditioner that contains keratin & or silk to keep the cuticle smooth & protect from shedding.. I alternate between wearing my hair straight & curly. I have always had to manually curl my hair, even b4 the treatments. I have several distinctly different hair textures on my head ( a Chia Pet), lol. Although a Keratin blow out does permanently straighten my curl pattern, the new growth comes back normal. Botox does not remove the curl pattern, bcuz it’s not a straightener, but it elongates the hair fiber, making curls really pop !when you blow dry & flat iron it , the hair is silky straight. When you wash it your curls return without the usual deep shrinkage. Botox conditioner is best option for those who desire to retain their curls. Currently I use only botox conditioner & I love it.
A little tips for keratin treatment DIY-ers. I still put my hair up at night; just put it up in a pineapple ponytail loosely. No lines or dents. If you do have lines or dents, you can just go over them quickly with a flat iron anyway. Also, the keratin will slowly absorb into your hair each day you have it on. By the 3rd day, you will barely feel it on your hair (if you can stand it!). I've done this treatment many times and found that it's rare to have permanent lines in the hair. Great video and information!
That’s very helpful. Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching! ✨🤗
How many times did you get it done ? Like does it damage your hair ?
@@sagarika1622 I’ve now completed the process twice. I haven’t noticed any damage. 👍
I love how you educated us about maintaining the results. Like this was very useful and not just you following the instructions on the package
I’m so glad that I could help. I tried to be as informative as possible. 👍🥰
This was a great & thorough video. I was looking for a video that showed the entire process including after the first wash, and you delivered! Your hair was beautiful before & so shiny and pretty after. I did an Ion brand keratin treatment many years ago & wanted to try keratin again. This video helped convince me. Thanks!
Awe…thank you so much! I’m glad that you enjoyed the video and found it to be helpful. 🤗✨🌸
I just found you bc I searched for keratin treatments at home and you had the same kind as I do. Your step by step demonstration was great and I’m so glad you did and included all the thoughts you had. I’m going to have to watch some more of your videos bc you’re adorable and I’m so curious about those 5 degrees!
I’m so happy that I could help! 😁Here are my 5 degrees: Bachelor’s Arts Business Administration, MAEd Middle Grades Education, Master’s School Administration, advanced degree-Education Specialist, and doctorate-Educational Leadership EdD. 🤓📚
Certain oils are natural heat protectants. Avocado, coconut, grapeseed, just to name a few. I suggest that you try the LUS Brands Elixir oil. LUS is a curly hair line, but you can definitely heat style your hair with their products, as they're really meant to just keep your hair healthy whether you wear it curly or not. When I use the leave-in, it keeps my hair so soft after I flat iron it.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll be on the lookout for the LUS oil. ✨🙏
Mine is arriving today (same brand, same kit) and I want to say THANK YOU for such a thorough video! You even labeled each section on its time stamp 🥹 Much appreciated, beautiful!! The results are lovely!
Awe. I’m happy that you like the video. I put a lot of effort into it. It’s nice to be appreciated. Thank you. 🥰✨❤️
Can you update me with how it turned out for you and how you liked it?
@@Asmrhippi3 It turned out well and I enjoyed the product. I reapplied it a 2-3 months later. I had a good experience. Thanks for watching! ✨🤗

Love how you structured your vid-just what I was looking for and super helpful. Your hair looks lovely 👌🏼
Thank you for watching! Glad I could help. ✨🥰
Great video and I am glad you gave us the entire process. Last year, I was debating on whether or not to put a keratin treatment in my hair. After watching a few videos and seeing how long the process takes, I decided not to do it. Your hair looks so good!!
Thanks!!! Girl yes…it’s a long process. But some of the formaldehyde free versions seem to take a lot less time. Thanks for watching!! ✨🥰
This the best video for at home keratin treatments. You are very informative, descriptive, and demonstrated everything well. It is because of you that I was able to do a keratin treatment at home. My results are great. Thanks so much.
Awe. You’re so sweet. I’m happy yours turned out well. 🤗🍭🍩🍪🍰
it's so great that you've shown us the hair after a few washes -I've been looking for such a video so long :D
Actually, you might be misunderstanding what I did. I left the product on my hair for 3 days . Each morning, I showed you what it looked like. I had not washed the keratin out yet. On the final day, when my hair was wet, was the only time that I washed the hair AFTER the keratin was applied. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! ✨🤗
I just bought this product and your video gave me the confidence to do it on my own!❤ thank you!
You are so welcome! 🥰
Awesome video very detailed I appreciate the time you took to put this together. About to do mine today as soon as amazon drop it off. Thank you.
Great! I hope you have good results. Thanks so much for watching. 🥰
You're so sweet, thank you for the video I'll do my hair in a week and was looking for a useful application videos i think I found it ❤ thank you very much.
Thank you so much all the reviews I’ve watched were people with relatively straight hair. This helped a lot thanks xx
You’re welcome! Glad that I could help. ✨👍
I love your curly hair 😍, but it looks great straight as well. I'm looking forward to seeing updates on this treatment, in the coming weeks. 🌟😍🌟
Thank you so much. I shampooed my hair again today and I had a few loose curls after it air dried. It looks very different than before but I may be able to wear it curly too. I ❤️ my new hair! Thanks for watching!
I've had multiple keratin treatments at the salon. I had the GK Keratin treatment, and it is formaldehyde free, and it has worked out great.
I am white, but my hair is really coarse, thick, frizzy and half curly (in 50% of my head - hence the reason I want to use a keratin treatment. Because my hair is half straight/half crazy).
Anyway, if you're looking for a formaldehyde free version, try GK's!
Great video! I'm sick of wasting tons of money at the salon, so I'm going to attempt to do my own.
Thank you so much for the suggestion. I also filmed a review of ANSWR and they are formaldehyde free as well. You may want to check them out. 👍😀
I’m blk and have curly hair 👩🦱 but the front is more curly/straight and the back of my hair is more curly/crazy as well. Just hard to manage Two different textures. So I’m doing my research to try the keratin treatment myself and find formaldehyde free. So I’ll try the brand you’re suggesting. Hope it works for me. I’m just nervous about it. Lol 😂
Can I just say that I enjoyed every minute of this video, thankyou so much for this very detailed and informative video.
I'm so happy to hear that. Thank you for watching! 😁
I watched this while giving myself a pedicure, it was a fun video. I am not even interested in the treatment lol. I'm glad yours turned out nice.
Thank you so much for watching. I’m glad that you had fun watching. ✨😁
Great video! I did this 5yrs ago and my hair just this past year returned to my natural curl pattern.
Wow!!! Good for you! 🙂. My curls are slowly returning but my hair is still more manageable than before and less curly. I’m still loving it. I think I might do it again in April or May. I hope that it will last longer each time that I do it. Thanks for watching!! ✨🤗
Are you saying it took 5 years for your curl pattern to return?
I absolutely love your humor! Excuse my hormonal friend lol...I fee your pain. I love how in depth you go with your first Keratin treatment. I also tried out the same treatment you did. I loved it so much but formaldehyde was in it. I had some major reservations about using it again. With my next Keratin Treatment I tried out inverto 60 and it's also from Keratin Research. It's totally formaldehyde free. The results were better than the original formula. Maybe you can try it out the next time you do a keratin treatment. Love your spirit!!!
Thanks for the love and support! I’m definitely interested in the Inverto 60. I linked that one in my description box for people looking for a formaldehyde free product. I’ve heard good things about it. ✨🤗
Thank you for this video 💕 I used the same product as a result of your video and my hair has never felt better and more manageable! X
That’s good to hear! I’m happy it worked wells for you. Thanks for watching! ✨🥰
Thank you for sharing this! Your video actually gave me the courage to try this myself.
You’re welcome! I’m happy that this video helped you. Thanks for watching!!! 💛✨🤗
Enjoyed watching your whole process of this keratin treatment. I've always wanted to try this process - your results look great and am excited to hear your future updates!
I had amazing first week! My hair even got misted on when it rained and it did not frizz!! I was shocked. I shampooed it today and let it air dry. I have loose curls so I think I may be able to wear it curly too. I love it so far! ✨❤️. Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much for the effort & time you went to making this informative video.
I love your fun personality. 😊 beautiful background / setup too. You did really well with your hair. I am going to purchase this same brand all the way in Australia 🌟
Thank you love. I'm so glad that I could help. Wow! Hi to you in Australia! 👋🇦🇺🦘
Amazing thank god I found your video because I’m tired of paying so much at the salon. Thank you so much for this 😊
You’re welcome! Glad that I could help. ✨🤗
Thanks for sharing this process! I’m debating if I DIY my daughter's Keratin treatment.
You’re welcome! I love it so far. 😍✨❤️
thank you for this video, it was so informative and helpful. absolutely the best video I found for this product.
You’re welcome! 🫶❤️🫶
Hi Savvy,
I’m a new subscriber and wanted to thank you for doing this video. You did a great job with your hair! I came across your video since I received a Keratin Complex treatment today! I was told to wait 3 days before I curl it, so hopefully it will curl.😉Looking forward to taking less time to blow dry and flat iron!
Continued blessings 🙏🏽🥰
Thank you for watching and subscribing! I’m still loving my treatment. It’s gotten a little curlier and I can curl/bend the ends with the straightener now. It’s holding up nicely. I hope you have a good experience as well. ✨🥰
@@savvy_1 you’re welcome! I’m so glad you’re enjoying your results and hoping that will be my story too! Thanks! 🥰
I’m loving your video, I especially like that you pointed out that the one that you’re using has formaldehyde, which I am so allergic. My hair is curly in the sumyis especially curly the humidity drives me cra cra. I have to say I'm a little intimated but I'm going for it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this with us all
You’re so sweet. 🍭🍪🍦🍫. Glad that I could help! 🥰
Great video! Love how you explain everything, i might try this, your hair looks amazing !:)
Thank you for watching doll! ✨🤗
You can still wear your hair curly with a keratin treatment in your hair. Also they have a shampoo and conditioner.
fyi , as a hair dresser, you dont want to use the straightener above 400 after a keratin treatment, you also shouldnt have to. keep it between 350-400 just for future references. it seems to have worked well for you though.
Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching! ✨👍
How many times should I iron the keratin in if i want to keep my curls? 2-3 times?
@@macymcgowan8135 I don’t know if sealing it fewer times will allow you to keep your curls. You probably should look for a different product to meet your needs. Thanks for watching. 🤗
Great videos thanks for this! I’ll definitely be ordering this
Thank you for the compliment and thanks for watching! ✨🥰
Love your hair and yes you do feel the product in your hair but not after the shampoo. I love it and have been doing it for myself for 8 years ow and so much easier too. I also leave it in for 20minutes for my curls to be loose and love it when it rains. Thank you for doing this and you look amazing
Thank you for watching and commenting! 🥰❤️
Hey, hands down to your videos as it was very helpful. I was gifted this product a year or so ago and my hair is median corse (in some parts) but thin in others and I’m Brazilian so I understand a lot about keratin straightening/relaxing hair treatments. I have done this kind treatment in the past in Brazil but now had this one kept in my cupboard for quite a long time and wanted to get to know the brand as I’m thinking of doing it to go on a beach holiday and don’t want to have to be struggling with my drying and straightening my hair in 36C in Greece. Thank you for the video and all the advice you gave us. Very appreciated for it.
Take care and I hope you’re still enjoying your hair (if it’s still straight) 😊
I'm happy that you enjoyed the video. My hair is still straight but I've moved on to a Formaldehyde Free formula from a company called ANSWR. There are a few videos on this product on my channel. Both products work well. Thanks for watching! ❤️🥰
Thanks for making this video!! I’m considering getting this done
I’m so happy that you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching. ✨🤗
Hi… I really enjoyed your video and plan to use the same keratin treatment you used, but will start off with the non-formaldehyde version due to my severe asthma and allergies. I will also apply the same keratin treatment to my three daughters’ hair, who are mixed like myself, and have the same beautiful hair texture as yours. I will inform you of our results and I really appreciate you sharing your journey with us. I suggest that maybe you should start a small business applying the keratin treatment process to much needed potential clients. You seem very confident and knowledgeable of this very detailed keratin treatment process, along with other healthy natural hair techniques, and your results are beautiful. Some of us are not as brave as you, but will try it based upon your very much appreciated and detailed instructions.
Thanks very much and bless you.
Thank you for commenting. I hope that it goes well for you and your daughters. I’m. not sure if the age of your kids, but if they are young, I would stick with formaldehyde free. Thanks for watching! ✨🌷
@@JNEEBhuvanaSD-zr2ck I’m. or sure if you’re wanting an update from me or the original commenter. lol. I have switched to a formaldehyde free formula. This one is still great though. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Can't wait to see your updates. Beautiful results.
Thank you so much! 🥰
This is the DIY video is has convinced me to do this myself even though it's 2 years old. Very detailed! But as a classic SS girl, the Elmo bit is my favorite part. Lol!
You can do it! And yes, gotta love Sesame Street and Elmo. 🥰. Thanks for watching!
I use this product and love it. It did slow down the time of my grays returning, which is my number one reason of loving this product. I did a treatment for the 1st time in September of last year and am getting ready to do another one really soon. We have similar hair textures, my curls did loosen, but I don't wear my hair curly that much any more. I hope you still like the results.
I’m happy you had great results too. I didn’t have that much product left when I colored my gray hair but even though I didn’t have much, can tell that my gray is taking longer to return too. It’s been wonderful. I’m still loving the treatment. Thanks for watching! 💕✨🙏
@@savvy_1 You're so welcome. Have a blessed day. 🙂
Did you use the formaldehyde free version?
@@tonyajohnson4299 No I still haven’t used that version yet. I may try it at some point.
I am so Happy you showed us, I need that because when wash hair it takes so much to get I straight...I need to find a place in NY. I don't know if I would be comfortable doing it myself
You did a fantastic job I have been doing keratin for the last eight years at the salons everything that they’ve taught me to do you did the only thing you did wrong was putting that hat on and going outside you are not supposed to sweat at all you’re not supposed to get wet you’re not supposed to sweat at all you’re not allowed to go to the gym you’re not even supposed to put sunglasses on the top of your head don’t put your hair behind your ears don’t touch your hair for three days except keep putting the hair straightener through your hair up until the moment you take a shower the more you apply the straightener the better the treatments gonna work.
Thanks for the feedback. I really wasn’t that concerned about whether it turned out perfect. I had to shovel my driveway. Luckily that didn’t cause any issues for me. Thanks for watching! 🤗
Ty so much. Jus bought this on amazon.great video
You’re welcome. I hope you have a great experience. ✨👍
Thank you, thank you so much for such an informative and entertaining video 😊
You’re welcome! 🥰
I just did some research on which kind of flat iron is best for a BKT and it's saying titanium is best because it requires less passes because it heats the hair from the outside in, which makes for better sealing of the treatment, while ceramic heats from the inside out and would require more passes, making it more time consuming.
Thanks for the information! ✨🤗
Great video . I have used this treatment before and it works
I agree. Thanks for watching! 🤗
I was watching then boom Elmo 😂😂😂 ok let me finish watching, can't wait to see the end results 🤗❤
I sprung my Elmo impression on y’all! 😂😂😂. Thanks for watching Tesha! ✨🥰

Thank you! I’m very pleased with it. 😁
Just ordered the products. Can’t wait. 🤩 great video
Yay! I hope you like it. ✨👍
I love the answr better. It made my hair feel silky soft, did not make my scalp irritated, no smell. The formaldehyde free keratin research did not make my hair feel the same way. It straightens and not silky soft and it irritated my scalp. Thank you though for teaching us about them.
I’m happy that you like ANSWR. I tried Keratin Research first then I tried ANSWR. I’ve been using ANSWR ever since. I’m happy that it worked for you. ❤️🥰
Wow!!! I’m so tempted. Great job! Did you do the treatment again?
Yes. I applied it again about 2 months later. I had a good experience both times. Thanks for watching! ✨😃
It will hold curls. I start with curling with flat irons then I use silk rollers at night and the curls are absolutely gorgeous and stay all day.....for days.
Awesome. That’s great to hear!!! Thanks for sharing. 🫶❤️🫶

Love your video I'm at Awwwww how much you remind me of a close friend of mine she died of cancer some years back she had your smile
Awe. Thanks so sweet. Thanks love!! 🍰✨❤️
Girl, I'd be watching TV too 😂 I'm actually watching you as I open and assemble my son's new high chair 😂 He's six months old and watches UA-cam videos with me sometimes. I've been considering going back to keratin treatments, as wearing my natural hair is actually becoming more expensive and time consuming than when I used to chemically straighten my hair (I used to relax, but then I stopped and switched to BKTs when I was trying to grow out my natural hair without having to cut more than an inch off my ends). I found that I go through more conditioner and other products when I wear it curly than straight, thus leading to being more broke more often lol.
I’m still enjoying having the treatment. I definitely have been using less product than before so I get it. Thanks for watching while assembling your high chair. 😂
Looking good thanks for the video
You’re welcome! Thanks!!! ✨🤗
Hi loved your video I can’t wait to try your method. I do have one question. Did you dye your greys off camera and immediately use the clarifying shampoo?
I used the clarifying shampoo then I colored my hair. 👍
@@savvy_1 thank you sooooooo much. I’m so excited about trying this!!!
When I had keratin…I wrapped it in a doobie then secure it in the Velcro doobie protector. ( As if doing a silk press…bingo!!) No dings, no dents. You don’t have to sleep with hair free flowing with the risk of bending during sleeping. Sleep comfortably.
Good to know. I typically wrap my hair. Thanks for watching. 🥰
Girl I love my keratin Beautiful job 😍
It’s so helpful. I hope that I’m able to do this 2-3 times each year. Thanks for watching! ✨🥰
oh wow , got to the end and realized it was a whole hour long.. and i'm over here still barely halfway thru remoisturizing and styling my hair.. ugh.. keratin treatment is looking better and better as this hair of mine works me ! unlike your natural hair , my hair is actually that course kinky curly hair that's TRULY hard to manage , lol
I’m happy that I discovered keratin. It’s really helped make my hair more manageable. I understand your frustration. Thanks for watching! ✨🥰
Did you use any heat protectant when you touched up your hair on the days after the treatment? I’m nervous about using such high heat on my hair without heat protectant for several days 😵💫
Thank you so much for the amazing video!! This is the best one out there! I watched several times and made the decision to do it myself. I paid $420 to get a Brazilian Blowout, and the stylist rushed through it, didn’t follow all the steps, and i could feel her breaking my hair as she brushed it and her flat iron was snagging and breaking my hair 😔 I was left with a finished product that worked on half of my hair and didn’t work on the other half. I was so sad, because I had been so excited that I couldn’t even sleep the night before lol. Never again. I’m doing my treatment right now with the same product!! I’ve got the product in my hair and I’m waiting for 30 minutes as I type this 🥰
I only used the high heat on the first day. I reduced the heat after that. Since your hair has keratin in the hair, you’re not actually applying heat to bare hair. To me, it kind of acts like a barrier between the hair and the straightener. Thanks for your positive comment! 🥰❤️
Hi there. I currently use another keratin treatment and when speaking to the owner of the company who makes it, she said that I can use a heat protectant so I assume that may be possible with other brands. I’ll try adding a heat protectant the next time that I complete the process to see if it will work. Just wanted to come back to pass along this new information. 🤗
Thank you so much. your video was of great help.
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching. ✨🌸
Loving the video so far (commenting just as you’re applying the treatment) but I must say your slight accent is very charming. Where are you from?
Thank you! I’m from good old North Carolina! 👩🏽🌾🌽🐓🍅🐖🍉🐄🥬👩🏽🌾
You will want to get a Brazilian blowout shampoo and conditioner to maintain the blow out. It should last at least 3 to 4 months.
Thanks for the tip! 👍🙂
What a video! Kudos for making this. It took my hairdresser 5 hours, bleached it to orange and it smelled of cookies BUT after dying it black 5 days later I had my dream hair for a year. How long did yours last? If I can do this myself, I'll save $80.
It’s still going well. But my hair is getting curlier each week. I tend to still wear it curly more than straight. I think if I wore it straight more it would last longer. It’s still very manageable and I love it! I plan to do it again in April. I think I may have to treat my hair 2-4 times each year. I don’t think it will take as long if I’m not filming the process. Thanks for watching!!! ✨🤗
@@savvy_1 Hmm..mine had to grow out, it never wore out which is why I redid it. Sounds like the ones they sell to uneducated people like us in this, may be of a "less sharp" kind.
Totally Beautiful Job!
Thank you! ✨🥰
It came out so good
Thank you!!! ✨🥰
As far as feeling product on hair, i saw another video with a stylist in a NY salon where she went by sections and blotted off the keratin treatment that did NOT absorb into the hair before she blew it dry. Hope that helps.
Thank you for the tip! ❤️🥰
Great info, thank you
You're welcome!
Thanks for this video😊
You’re welcome!!! ✨🤗
Thank you for explaining, I’m really sacred to trying at home given my hair is not that curly but I want to reduce freeze. Does it smell ? I mean the hair after treatment?
No. Once you finish the application and shampoo the hair, there is no smell. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching. 🥰
Looks cute! Snowed in??? Hope you are doing well!
Thanks! I was briefly snowed in lol. Just a few days. I’m doing well girlie. I hope you are too! ✨☺️
I have a keratin but I have a professional beautician put mine in love it
I would like to do that too someday. Thanks for commenting! ✨🙏
For your hair type you should be using the gold label from the brand.
I saw the gold label one before purchasing the original. I chose the original to see if I could get the results I liked with the original version. I’m satisfied with my results but may consider the gold brand in the future. Thanks for watching! ✨❤️
Your hair looks beautiful.🥰
Thank you doll!🥰
You should do what we call in PR dubi with out pins. You comb your hair like on a circle and then you put a silk hat.
That’s how I wrap my hair at night. For this process, it said not to bend the hair so I didn’t for the 3 days. After the final shampoo, I began wrapping it. Thanks for commenting! ✨🥰
Thanks 😊 I love it
You’re welcome!! ✨🫶
Bless you for doing this🙏❤️
it turned out Amazing,, but your curls are amazing
Thanks love! ✨❤️
Great review.
Thank you! ✨🥰
I’m just learning about keratin treatments, I think you did an excellent but all the blow drying and straightening seems damaging
I haven’t experienced damage. Thanks for watching! 🥰
Helpful review.. thx
You're welcome!
Great video😊
Thank you so much! 🥰❣️
Thank w for sharing ❤
Hi. Did you happen to experience any scalp issues from your keratin treatment. I used the amazonliss keratin from Nutree an I experienced a lot of scalp issues months after the keratin was applied. I don’t know if it was the way I applied it. But did you experience any scalp flares?
No. I did not experience any issues with my scalp. Thanks for watching! 👍
Looks gorgeous 😍
Thank you!!! ✨🌷
thank you for your vidio. How many weeks or months did this treatment last for you? I know everyone is different. thanks
It lasted for about 2 months. Thanks for watching! 🥰
New to your channel and wondering how it lasted? I will probe your channel to see if you have any updates on the lasting effects of the treatment. Thank you for your feedback.
This keratin treatment lasted a couple of months. My curls began to return but didn’t return to the exact same curls that I had before. I moved on to a formaldehyde free version after keratin treatment. But this one was good as well. Thanks for watching! 🥰❤️
Your haïr looks good! Can I apply this treatment on texturized hair?
I’m really not sure if it can be applied over a texturized hair. I would recommend checking Amazon for more information. Thanks for watching! ✨🌷
