@@savvy_1 I have relaxed my natural 3B hair type with a sodium hydroxide relaxer and I used olaplex before during and after to mitigate any potential damage caused by the relaxer. Then I applied the “ANSWR” keratin smoothing treatment right after the relaxer per the instructions to insure that it would control the frizz and it worked! I used my “RevAir” to dry my hair with only tension, no brushing or combing. My hair is full of body and shine. This is truly a low manipulation technique to effortlessly wash, dry and go about my wash day! I use Olaplex’s line of products and Pureology’s leave in conditioner, Redken’s Blow out jelly and wrap my hair nightly.
Looooove the keratin treatment. Bought it and it’s beautiful. Right now I’m doing protective styles over the summer. Will definitely purchase again for fall

I just reapplied mine on Saturday. I waited to reapply after filming this 7-month update. I filmed this video in February even though I just posted it a couple of months ago. I'm guessing if you keep going back to it, then you're obviously not feeling like it damages your hair? I have really curly hair and I bought this, and I still haven't tried it because I'm so afraid it's going to damage...you mentioned that it will change your curl pattern, does that mean it looks totally different when you don't straighten it? NVMND--> you answered all my questions. thanks!
If you take a look at some of my earlier videos, you can see what my hair looked like when curly in comparison to now. It definitely changes your curl pattern but I’m sure it would revert back if I stop reapplying the product. I hope this helps! ❤️🥰

The keratin treatment will strengthen and coat the relaxed hair strands filling in any weaknesses, add shine and correct any overly porous areas! Like ice cream with hot caramel on top; both are good but excellent in combination! I’m not concerned about my natural hair texture because my plan is to wear it straight. When I’m ready for a change I’ll just cut it off and begin something new. The keratin treatment can be used to extend the time between relaxing the new growth to ensure there is no overlapping between relaxer applications by smoothing the new growth while you decide to relax again.🎉

If you die your own hair within a month after using this keratin product, will it remove the product out of your hair?or is it OK to dye your hair a little bit later on after use this product?
I'm not sure what will happen if you color your hair after you apply the keratin. I would recommend that you color your hair before applying the keratin. It helps the color last longer Thanks for watching! 🥰
Savvy, I will be trying the Answr Keratin for the first time. For the post Keratin application, you mentioned two different non paraben, non sulfate products: the Meore and the CK. Which one do you recommend I try first. I have 4B curl pattern and tangles.knots easy.?
I’m not sure. I color before the treatment because it helps the color last. But keep in mind that I’m using a semi permanent color. Maybe check their FAQ section on their website. Thanks for watching! 🥰

I’ve linked a straightener in the description box of those videos that has a high heat setting. It doesn’t display the heat number either so ai guess about where I need to put the dial to get to the right temperature. Hope this helps. 🥰
@@user-jm5jt9ud4p Hope this helps - I also use a GHD (my favorite iron). I know some ppl prefer really high heat and titanium. I prefer to find a balance between keeping my hair as healthy as possible and easing the styling process. Since the GHD is ceramic and only reaches 365 F, it works perfect for my end goals. I never have to worry about the hair burning. I use Olaplex shampoo, BioSilk Serum, Silk Elements Heat Protectant, and MCT oil for maintenance. That's all. If I want extra sleekness, I may also add a dab of pomade. During the application process, I only pass the iron over my hair 3-4 times max. I reapply every 3 months. My hair puffs back up about 5-10% if it's super humid, but it's barely noticeable and just makes my style look fuller.

Did you blow dry it then straighten it with enough passes? I filmed two step by step videos. You may want to watch them to see if you missed anything. 👌

I really like the Moerie especially the mask but both brands are good. After Keratin, you won’t experience as many tangles. 👍

I did it and liked it. But why is my hair still frizzy?esp when I go outside and it's humid. Yours look perfect and sleeky. Am I styling it wrong?
