저수준 비트레이트로 치환한 1984년의 멜로디를 들으니 너무 익숙하면서도 새롭다 SNES로 이 BGM이 흐르는 게임을 한다고 상상하니 너무 즐거워! Listening to the melody of 1984 replaced by a low-level bit rate is so familiar yet new. It's so much fun to imagine playing a game with this BGM on the SNES!
for some reason, no matter how close or far away I am from the speakers, whether I cover my ears or not, the thing playing the melody always sounds like it's playing directly in my ear but just lower or higher in volume depending on the aforementioned proximity stuff
I think it’s in a chip tune format. Like some other snes tunes on UA-cam, they don’t sound proper on some hardware. In my case, my mobile really dilutes the lead voice. Probably will sound right on desktop.
Ooh plastic love, my plastic love I need you, oh how I need you But all you do is treat me bad Break my heart and leave me sad Tell me what did I do wrong To make you stay away so long -The Supremes
A 16-bit version (I'm going to assume for Super NES) wouldn't be anything like this. The original could be recreated note for note and instrument for instrument. It would just be a compressed synth style since it would be using compressed samples of the original instruments (or equivalents).
You know I was trying to figure out why the peach thing looked like something and now I realize that it reminds me of the Devilman artist go whatever the hell his name is
hi listened to this music i really liked it can i use this soundtrack to make a video in newgrounds? It is that on UA-cam it will not let me do a strange speedpaint if you know it clearly
Haha that cover art! It's hilarious to me that even when entirely remade in a different style, plastic love still uses the Sweetest Music cover and not the Variety cover. Sweetest music is a really good song if you've never heard it, and it's the original song that used the art we now associate with Plastic Love. But yeah, the Variety cover is a lot less nice looking, so I can see why it lost out.
original art by Gaucelm
Everyday with Master Jo thank you very much!! It’s fun to see my art pop up in unexpected places! :)
@@TheRealGaucelm oh it's beautiful
no spc file?
@@orsonzedd thank you!
That's one of the best drawings of Peach I've ever seen ❤❤❤
We can now confirm that Mariya was actually playing games
Why the fuck does this not have more likes
thanks so much for the confirmation, notorious outlaw and weeb Arthur Morgan
Ayoooooooo!!!
Comment got 85 likes (passed 84 when the original song was first released)
Arthur, are you still sticking to Dutch’s plan? And did you ever find Lenny?
Ever since the Super Mario 64 soundfont rendition of Plastic Love was recommended to me I get more versions to appear on my feed, noiceee
ah yea this happened to me
Same. Gateway drug
Hey me too.
Wait that hasn't been recomended to me, or either it did and I missed it
Accurate
Man the Mushroom Kingdom had some real bangers back in the old days of the snes
Technically, this Is Dinosaur Land.
@@JoanSlugXAkaJerkyBogard
The cavemen must’ve had some _rock hard_ bangers
Super Mariya Bros. is my favorite retro game! Glad to see it finally get some recognition after being forgotten about for decades!!
Love your pfp! 😊
When was it forgotten? 🤔
This is spot on! The art is lovely too
I am glad to hear that!
Mario Takeuchi - Plumbstop Love
I'm now imagining a Super Mario World romhack where you play as Peach in a city level with this as soundtrack
Artwork fits so well
Thank you, I am glad it does! I drew that.
Wow! This cover is so unique and impressive! Good thing I end up liking the song!
This is so spot on! It’s like it was actually in the game!
I found this cover by chance, and I absolutely love it. Thanks for the music.
very late to this but i absolutely love the art it adds so much charm to this amazing cover!!
Thank you very much, I am the one who made it
@@TheRealGaucelmyou did a great job!
The kind of song that plays on a final level where Mario carries Peach through an obstacle course out of Bowser's castle.
Sitting on a beach in Thailand and saw this, listening to it while watching the sunset is such a vibe.....
That's one of the best drawings of Peach I've ever seen ❤❤❤
Plastic love? more like Mushroom Love

I’m glad you love her, I drew her :)
@@TheRealGaucelm
You drew this?!
It's really awesome!!!
The Intro is soooo satisfying. More than original. Damn...
Wow, amazing art! Probably can be maded by Miyamoto on the early 90's
Maded, lol
@@theedwardian i gotta use 'maded' more often-er
@@theedwardian Need I remind you, English isn't everyone's first language🙄
@@purplemist7 That's fine. Whenever I've learned a new language I *maded* mistakes too! It's still funny though. Double-past tense. Super past tense.
If this was on the credits for Super Mario World that would be 🤯
Beautiful cover art. Im gonna call her Wild Peach. And the music is pretty cool especially when it kicks in fully
Thank you!! I am glad you like the art
This sounds like a theme for a world in super mario world rather than a level
That artworks goes hard
I love the box art!!
Can't believe I just recently found this, this is now one of my favorite videos on YT
It's a nice remix ~
And the art is so pretty.
I am glad to hear that :)

huh you're right!! strange quality
It's completely "dry" meaning no reverb to create a sense of distance. Other parts in this cover have the same issue.
I think it’s in a chip tune format. Like some other snes tunes on UA-cam, they don’t sound proper on some hardware. In my case, my mobile really dilutes the lead voice. Probably will sound right on desktop.
The art ❤
Glad it pleases you :)
Sounds like a credits theme
Sounds like 24 times better with headphones or some sort of good ass speakers
i'm picturing an anime opening happening right now
im a guy living ion 2021, just bought a car from the year 2001, listening to a song with 90s soundfont that is originaly form the 80s
The base track could honestly be it's own song. Sounds like super Metroid, awesome.
Aww, my twin on the cover.
音源変えるだけでノスタルジーの感じ凄い強くなる!いいね
this needs more views !
I support this!
Mari-yo Takeuchi.
I alway return on that vidéo for the peach art work gulty
nice
Now it sounds roughly like an 80's WWF entrance theme by Jim Johnston
One of best songs in Super Mario World!
Super Mario soundfonts were made for City Pop (almost mean this literally).
that part where mabosstiff said jumanji... i felt that...
Everyone on SMW central needs to see this and use this in their SMW rom hacks !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes!
How would this fit a gory creepypasta romhack though
@@metroided34 who said that? Smwcentral doesn't only make gory hacks.
I can't hear more than 8 voices at the same time, legit!

i also love stealing midis and art and framing it as original content
Algorithmic punch!

Why does this sound the same volume no matter how low I set it? It's beeping deep in my ear drum.
