Please start a railroad history channel. It would be amazing to see and hear you guys cover everything from rollingstock to fallen and merged roads of the past. Also, can't wait to add this to my Gorre & Daphetid line, which without enough power, has left me gorre and daphetid several times.
I had been wondering when there would be an update on this engine, but i didnt know id get an entire histroy video as well. The fact i have a modelmof this in HO scale with a 100 car hopper train to go with it makes me even more excited to play with it in game. I await its official release and hope you guys will do more history like videos in the future.
I have a couple old locomotive cyclopedia books and there are so many locomotives i see in these books that i would love to see added to railroad i have an original 1947 copy that has a great selection of modern steam and early diesels
They were also the basis for the very successful Pennsylvania Railroad J1s, During WWII wartime production didn't allow new locomotive designs so the Pennsy knocked off the C&O T1 and they were in service up into the 1950s before they were all scrapped by 1958
Staying on the theme of T1 class engines do you know of anyone working on Reading T1 class Northerns or even their predecessors the I10sa class consolidations?
Is the A1 in Trainz? Where’d did yall get it from is it available on T:ANE? Also will you offer a Pere Marquette livery I know they never had 2-10-4 but it would look sharp in its livery
Honestly, I think it works on both. We haven’t tested it for main branch much because the plan (according to the developers) is to combine the two versions soon.
dang i just found your channel it i think it finally convincing me to play Railroader, these videos are great mate! :) one question: where did you get the "chassie" styled font you use in your videos? (i've been looking for a font just like it for a long time!)
It’s one of my favorite games and one of the best railroad related games of all time in my opinion. (Obviously haha). I’ll check into where we got it and get back to ya.

Railroader Dev: Releases 90k tractive effort diesel
WNCRR: Same thing, but more coal and water.
To be fair, this is an RCrockin project.
@TheWNCRR And it looks AWESOME!!!
(Also, I reread my comment and it didn't give off the "funny" vibe I was going for. Sorry.)
I gotcha, it got a chuckle out of me during the live stream when I read it.
@@TheWNCRR That good. 😄 Thanks for doing what y'all do.
As a C&O modeler, thus was an outstanding video. I have one of the BLI T-1 models and really enjoy operating it.

THE A-POSING RED SPY LMFAOOOO
You know, if you did straight up railroad history videos I know at least one subscriber who'd likely watch every one.
Honestly, I've considered it.
@@TheWNCRRgood thing you know a narrator
I second this!
@@TheWNCRRim begging you please
@@TheWNCRR you have the voice for it.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! And of course I just spent my live savings on the new c40 😅
Oh snap
Edit: this video is great, y’all knocked it out of the park
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Intro set the tone for an amazing video, great work
Thank you! I was afraid it as a bit much but I’m glad people like it.
Thanks for this, an oustanding production for what will be an oustanding loco mod for RR.

“There’s a Spy aroun’ here!” - A Lima engineer, circa the 1920’s.
I would love to see the Southern Pacific's Cabforward trains in Railroader
Ooooooooo A Texas Class! Bessemer Service Here I Come!!!!
Bessemer texas types were more powerful than the C&O T1 bessemer had 109,800 tractive effort
And the Pennsylvania railroad during WW2 chose the T-1 as the basis for the J-1’s the famous war babies
An incredible job, I want to try it, these people do an impressive job, I hope in the future they create a USRA 4-8-2 Hevy Mountain
Can’t wait for this. Finally more kitten power
So when can the public get it for us to use on our own games?
It will be released sometime this week.
Staying on the theme of T1 class engines do you know of anyone working on Reading T1 class Northerns or even their predecessors the I10sa class consolidations?
At the moment, no.
Is that big wheel on the engineer's side of the cab a European style screw reverse?
Yes it is. Quite a few of the C&O locomotives had them. They were more common on US roads than you’d think.
My friend Kosmos, help made this video.
He sure did. He did wonderful work and I hope we continue to work with him in the future!
finally I won't need 4 engines to get 10 coal cars to Andrews.
Is the A1 in Trainz? Where’d did yall get it from is it available on T:ANE? Also will you offer a Pere Marquette livery I know they never had 2-10-4 but it would look sharp in its livery
Funnily enough, we have a version of the T-1 that is modeled to look like a PM variant.
As for the A1, I’ll have to ask where Kosmos got it from.
@ welp just another reason for me to get railroader now lol
The A1 was made by me. But it was privated for reasons
Thanks for clearing that up. I knew I-1 was an “upgraded” green coast model but wasn’t sure about the A1.
@@SunshinerBA ☹️☹️☹️
is this gonna be compatable iwth the liveries?
A future update may add those features but at the moment, no.
Will it be available for both main branch and experimental branch?
Honestly, I think it works on both. We haven’t tested it for main branch much because the plan (according to the developers) is to combine the two versions soon.
@ Oh alrighty, thank you.
Is that 1,200 tons on Red Marble including loco and tender? Or just the weight of the cars? Either way, I'm looking forward to this!
Including the locomotive. Sorry I didn’t define that more clearly in the script.
@TheWNCRR No worries. It'll still be a great addition!
