Josh Smillie - National Championships (Vic Metro vs Allies)

Smillie started the game well, reasonably clean in the wet conditions and influential in creating or finishing a number of scoring opportunities for Metro. He faded as the game went on, and spent a lot of the final quarter on the bench so hopefully he hasn't picked up a knock.
Footy Stuff Player Profile:
Josh Smillie - 195cm mid/forward. Primarily an inside mid, Smillie uses his massive frame and clean hands to dominate stoppage. Post stoppage, he uses his endurance to roam and become a damaging marking target, and uses his excellent kicking skills to set up his team. He lacks the absolutely elite foot speed of some other top prospects, but the rest of the package is undeniable.
