Angus Clarke - National Championships (SA v Vic Metro)
Angus Clarke is a solid mid sized defensive option who seems likely to be taken somewhere in the middle rounds of the upcoming draft. A versatile 188cm defender, his aerial strength allows him to match up on taller opponents, while his pace and agility makes him equally adept at covering smalls. He's competitive and disruptive, with a strong focus on winning his matchup first, but when he does get involved in transition ball movement his dash and excellent kicking skills can be a weapon.

Josh Dolan - Talent League Round 1
Переглядів 1007 годин тому
A deeper pool option, Josh Dolan is a busy high half forward who's clean at ground level, and creative and damaging with ball in hand. He's a hard worker with excellent endurance, able to push high up the ground and get involved in transition ball movement. He's played some through the midfield at Talent League level, but at only 177cm tall might lack the physicality for the midfield at AFL lev...
Alix Tauru - Talent League Round 11
Переглядів 80312 годин тому
Alix Tauru seems a lock now to be the first key position player taken in the upcoming national draft. Here we see one of his most impressive performances for the season, particularly in the air where he was dominant and disruptive consistently taking intercept marks throughout the game. We also saw where his area for improvement will need to come with his disposal and decision making causing a ...
Murphy Reid - Talent League Round 3
Переглядів 29114 годин тому
An early season game from Murphy Reid. He played more forward minutes which led to a lower possession count than we became accustomed to from him later in the season but he still demonstrated his poise and class with the ball in hand. If you want to chat all things AFL draft with me, come check out my thread on bigfooty and drop a comment: www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/noobers-player-videos-fo...
Levi Ashcroft - Talent League Round 3
Переглядів 15514 годин тому
Going back to fill in games that were missed. Here we see Levi turning in a typically prolific performance. When played through the midfield he attacked stoppage, releasing his teammates with quick, clean and clever disposal. When played forward he showed an impressive ability to take contested marks considering his diminutive stature. Footy Stuff Player Profile: Levi Ashcroft - 179cm midfielde...
Harvey Langford - Talent League Round 1
Переглядів 63916 годин тому
Over the next few days we're going back to the start of the season to fill in a few performances that were missed. Here we see Harvey Langford, still sporting the long hair, playing more forward than mid and taking a number of impressive contested marks. If his lack of pace does impact his ability to play through the middle at AFL level he can always fall back on his ability to impact the game ...
Lucca Grego - Talent League Round 10
Переглядів 18021 годину тому
Lucca Grego is a deeper midfield option who's shown the versatility to turn in solid performances in multiple different roles this season. He's tough, hard working and uncompromising with his attack on the contest. He's constructive with ball in hand, willing to take on the game with run, able to make good decisions and hit targets by foot. When playing as a defender, his marking strength for h...
Sam Lalor - 2023 Talent League Round 4
Переглядів 982День тому
Lots of requests recently for more vision of Sam Lalor. Given his injury restricted 2024 season we have to go back to 2023 when he was a bottom ager. Here we see him putting in a remarkably powerful game as an inside midfielder given he's a year younger than most of his opponents, bulldozing through stoppage or crunching in with tackling pressure. He found plenty of the footy, but was uncharact...
Patrick Said - Talent League Round 11
Переглядів 212День тому
Said missed out on Vic Metro selection this year due to a slowish start to the season, but his consistently strong performances through the middle and back end of the season has given him a shot at having his name read out come draft time. Playing midfield and forward, and thriving in both roles, he's been a consistent 20 disposal gatherer and multiple goal kicker. Said is strong overhead for h...
Cody Angove - WAFL Colts Round 17
Переглядів 225День тому
Another one of the plethora of small forward prospects in the deeper end of this years draft pool, Angove is light on his feet, quick and agile with the ability to produce moments of magic in the forward 50. His footy IQ is very good, allowing him to run patterns up to the wing and back into the forward 50 while staying involved in the play and finding the ball. He's rarely caught flat footed, ...
Will Hayes - WAFL Colts Round 3
Переглядів 39314 днів тому
Will Hayes is an intriguing talent who hasn't always found consistent form this year but has more than enough about him to have clubs interested come the November draft. This was one of his best performances for the season showing his lovely turn of pace, agility to dodge and weave around opponents, strong disposal skills and the moxie to take the game on with attacking and decisive play. If yo...
Sam Davidson - VFL Round 9
Переглядів 54814 днів тому
As the winner of this years Fothergill-Round-Mitchell medal for most promising young VFL talent, 21 year old Sam Davidson is an inheritor of a strong tradition with the last 17 winners going on to make it onto an AFL list. An outside leaning flanker or winger, Davidson is a powerful runner, solid overhead mark and an excellent competitor on the field, a mix of traits that should prove attractiv...
Jasper Alger - Talent League Wildcard Round
Переглядів 33414 днів тому
A deeper prospect in the 2024 pool with plenty of upside, Jasper Alger is a smaller/general forward who's shown how dangerous he can be at times this season for Oakleigh without ever quite managing to string together consistent form. He's a springy and athletic mover who loves to fly for his marks and can get out on the lead, but also capable at ground level. Seems to lack the footy IQ to get m...
Finn O'Sullivan - 2023 Talent League Wildcard Round
Переглядів 2,5 тис.14 днів тому
Heavy demand in recent days to see more of Finn O'Sullivan during his relatively injury free bottom age campaign. Here we see him leading his Chargers to a big win in the first round of last years Talent League finals. He cracks in hard at stoppage, winning a lot of footy and laying tackles. He shows his ability to dodge and weave around tacklers, and the audacity to take on the play with calcu...
Josh Murphy - 6 Goal Haul - Talent League Round 18
Переглядів 37314 днів тому
A deeper prospect but one who's put a heap of runs on the board this season. Plenty of similarities to Logan Morris as an undersized key forward who's excellent overhead, enough pace and forward craft to consistently take marks on the lead, and kicks bags of goals with a long, penetrating and typically accurate boot. If you want to chat all things draft with me, come check out my thread on bigf...

Cody Curtin - U17 AFL National Futures
I hate this guy, as a crows fan too, he came to my town as part of the crows and telling people they couldnt get his autograph until he had prepped for the game, bro didnt play a second, then when asked if he had a gf he said he 'roots and boots' and laughed, crows with Rachele and welsh are doomer, might have to go for north now smh
Some beautiful play …silky skills …that check side banana kick was a rippper!
This guy looks like a Caleb Serong clone.
The AFL really should put some coverage into the U18 national competition. Put it on free to air television. Advertise and market it.
Most of his disposals are from kick outs. Others that came from free play went to the opposition or were 50/50. He's got a good kicking action (most should at this level), some of his decision-making left a bit to be desired (first highlight he gives away a free kick for no reason, the dump kick straight in front of goals at the top of the 50 (better off heading towards the boundary.))
His kicking is insanely good.
Kicks it like Tsatas.
I just don't see it with this kid. Yes, he's definitely good, but I can't see why he should go at number 1. Surely Smith or Draper are surer bets and more damaging.
Don’t rate this kid at all! Two lazy blatant in the backs. Over hyped.
The kid is an exciting development prospect, but if I walk in to a car yard and see him & Trainor next to each other, then I am buying Trainor and driving him home.
The wind is crazy
Outstanding spaTial awareness and lightning fast gain possession-release speeds. O'Sullivan & Jagga are on a par in these categories and it's why they are locks in the top 4 of this draft. There is NO eveness in this draft that incorporates the top 4. They are a tier up on the next group.
Pretty poor ball user
Reads the play well, good second and third efforts, kicking let's him down. Plays a lot like Chad Warner
Love it thanks footy stuff, are you gonna post a few of his other big bottom age games - there’s a few with goals I’ve noticed
We'll see mate, lots to get through
like this kid....over O'Sullivan and Smith. Much better by foot, and just as fast.
Are you going to do a ranking on the top 20 players. No mock draft imo as trades happen on the night just purely your thoughts would be great if you have time you have been pumping the videos out respect for that.
I will. I'm waiting on building a new PC before I do it, as those kind of more complex video cause my current potato to struggle. Next week sometime hopefully.
@footystuffYT 🤣🤣 have a good one man and looking forward to it.
Fits a gws type of play style . He looks good
Imagine him and Wardlaw together in the guts
Hey mate, love your work - wondering if you could cut up some more stuff of Lalor and his bottom age year - saw he kicked a few goals and got a bit of it but can only find one of his games. Thanks
I'm keen to do more of him, keep an eye out for it soon.
He’s elite, should be a top 3 pick
Elite pace and agility by the look of it. Great tackling and great overhead marking. Not a greatshowcase of his kicking this game. He will be drafted top 3 by all accounts but you can see where his development will be needed.
He will have a better career than Dustin Martin?
Difficult to have a better career than Dusty
@@footystuffYT Yet Martin was pick 3. So arguably Reid should have a better career...
Over rated hopefully Carlton get Draper instead.
There’s something about this kid, reminds me of Stevie J. He doesn’t have the cleanest style but he gets the job done and has an X-Factor.
Yeah I find it difficult to decide if I really like him or not. His ball drop is atrocious at times, but he's got x-factor as you say. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up being very good.
Can’t wait to see him in the no7 for the baggers
Sid Draper is better. Hope Carlton pick him.
Hope the dees can get Langford at 5 and this kid at 9🤞🏼 make it happen JT
The other Mont one might might notice in this player in focus video is Lucas Ravenhill. I think he's draftable.
Although he's just been included in the WA 2024/25 summer squad as the one and only over ager.
I do like Ravenhill a lot, good mover and strong mark.
about 10 turnovers in this highlights package. And almost got the ball smothered about 5 times.
Not a highlights package
Hey mate, great video. I was wondering if there’s any chance you could cover another wa wingman Jaxon Artemis. Keep up the good work.
Hey mate. I've got Angove, Dennis and Boxshall from WA I'd like to do, and someone has requested Declan Pauline. Plus plenty of non WA kids. So I can't make any promises. We're starting to get close to November. After draft day I will try and cover anyone that gets taken that I haven't got vision of yet.
@@footystuffYT Oh sweet, Dennis, Angove and Boxshall are other players that I really wanted to see Vision of, so can't wait to see them. Yeah understand man, must be a pretty busy part of the year for you. Can't cover everybody with so little time left until the draft. Cheers mate.
He is ok nothing special .. Draper is the all round footballer
😂
What are the rules with VFL players? Do Richmond have first dibs on him?
He's just available to draft in the general pool. No bid matching or anything like that.
@@footystuffYT Thats a shame. And thats the national draft, yea? Do you reckon he'll likely find his way to Richmond anyway, as we have a higher value for him?
I have no insight on the Tigers preferences to be honest, but they do have a LOT of draft picks so has to be some chance they pick him up.
The number 13 would look on him 🎽
Chris Judd like, ✌️
This kid is a jet, hope tigers take him
Good player. Won't end up at Essendon. We don't draft guys who can hit targets.
His kicking action reminds me of Trac so much.
If FOS is gone, he ain’t getting past the blues. Sorry crows
Maybe Blues take him above FOS.
He has a nice sidestep and the ability to keep his arms up and free for the handball....but his decision-making is not the best, he always looks rushed and he misses a lot of targets by foot. Surprised he is pegged as Top 3 in a "super draft".
You don’t know what you’re talking about
@@OlChamberGenius sorry, I'll stop giving honest advice about your boyfriend.
Not the greatest highlights
These aren’t highlights, genius
A young Patrick Cripps
any change you have clips of FOS from last year? Would be good to see some of him at his best since he was a bit underdone this year (other than the one you already have)
I can do more. It does seem as though Carlton fans are keen.
@@footystuffYT to give you credit I found a few more from 2023 that you uploaded just didn’t realise because it wasn’t in the playlist you had
Way better than FOS
Cannot believe this is the guy all my fellow blues supporters are frothing over, no hate to the guy but he doesn’t look very good at all.
He's an outstanding talent. Elite athletic profile, agile, quick, huge leap, strong mark and an elite kick of the footy.
@@footystuffYT Elite kick of the footy💀 All I saw in this video is horrible inaccuracy kicking the footy straight to oppo players which we don’t need more of at Carlton. Looked more like a lowlights video than a highlights one. He also averaged under 12 disposals in the U18 champs, if you can’t play in U18 champs how are you going to transfer to AFL? Does not sound very good at all.
I don't make highlights videos, I include every interaction with the play, good or bad.
100 percent built like a twig also gonna get knocked off the ball at afl level way to easy
@@carlton0124 He was coming off an injury that took him out for the first half of the season. Made All Australian last year off of his champs performance
Looks like he may finish up at Carlton.
Lets hope so.
the number 7 is also free
If he goes to Vic he will be back in SA after 1st contract
@@DaveH1969 nah he won't not if he goes to Carlton
hope not, he will just request a trade to crows later
#11 pick in the draft to Fremantle hopefully
Got a great kick on him. Long or short and even out of tight situations he hits targets.
Mostly a strong kick, but he can lose his ball drop a bit which occasionally makes him shank one pretty badly.
7 news used a clip of yours about kako todsy
Interesting. I heard channel 9 used my stuff for a Jagga special last night. It's probably about time I started adding a watermark or something.
Will your power rankings/ mock draft be coming out anytime soon?
I hope so. It takes ages to edit that kind of video on my current potato PC so waiting on building a new one. Still a week or two away from that.
