All the artists you work with create the most stunning fabrics. Always interesting patterns and compliments the feminine body. You and your team are always creative and very talented.😊
As a beginner knitter, I find Mosaic knitting to be intimidating and scary. But this shawl is so beautiful, that I'm going to have to learn how to do it. I love how creative your team is, you must feel so lucky and blessed to work with them!
As long as you know the basics in knitting, I've found that most things might seem daunting but they're actually not as bad as we make them out to be once we try. I was predominantly a crocheter in the past and knitting seemed scary period. Now I knit way more than I crochet. Trust me when I say you'll look back and be proud of yourself for mastering something that you initially thought was scary. You got this! ❤
@@juliastone7521 Thank you for your kind words and vote of confidence! I'm mostly a crocheter and felt the same way about crocheting a sweater. But then I watched someone else do a tutorial and now I've made 3 sweaters and have another one in progress.
Never done mosaic knitting. But i like to try it out, with this pattern, in a smaller version. Always up for learning new things and you are such a good teacher❣️
First of all, this pattern is simply stunning! It reminds me of beautiful pottery or tiles and is gorgeous in a very timeless way. I've never tried this knitting technique before, but I'm definitely stunned by the effect it can achieve. I may not be a beginner in knitting anymore, but I still have a lot to discover. My deceased grandmother gave me a passion for handicrafts, she created really amazing works even from the simplest stitches and I would like to be as good as her someday.
I love mosaic crochet, but have never tried mosaic knitting. This is beautiful. I also tank you for your kind, encouraging words. Sometimes it helps to be reminded that we are part of a bigger tapestry that wouldn't be as vibrant if we weren't in it.
I am so excited about this shawl. It is gorgeous and I love the colors. I had not tried or even heard of mosaic knitting until I started knitting Advertence. It took four months and a lot, lot, lot of un-knitting before I figured it out. I absolutely love it. It takes concentration which means all the worries of everyday living are pushed aside. I can't thank you enough for the peace, smiles and warm feelings your videos and beautiful emails have given me. I will be forever grateful
I first learn to crochet at the age of 16 but I did not learn how to knit until I was in my late fifties. I had to ride a 30-40 minute ferry to work everyday. That's where I learned how to knit. The woman who rode the ferry showed me how to do the many knitting stitches and they had a great deal of patience. I completed Faires isles but never tried the mosaics patterns. So far all I can do is sit back and watch how easy you make it seem.🤩😘🤩
If you can knit Fair Isle, then you can knit Mosaic, which I think is actually easier. Only knits, purls, and slipped stitches, and you only work with one color at a time.
I eagerly anticipate each new EFA video and design for the pure pleasure of watching and the inspiring colour palettes. The thumbnail on this one instantly grabbed my attention and I knew it was EFA before I read the caption or looked to the left hand side. With its timeless appeal, this Monica Wesley design is sure to become a classic. For the maker, the buttery soft yarn used would make the work a tactile pleasure and a worthy investment of time and resources. I can't imagine anyone who received such a piece not being stunned by the exquisite beauty and craftsmanship so aptly summed up by your use of life/tapestry metaphors such as "... all of the threads form a radiant tapestry of such beauty and richness." Each work is sure to be treasured as an heirloom. Once again I'm more familiar with mosaic crochet than the knitting equivalent. Your instructions make this seem less intimidating and more of a stimulating challenge. Once mastered, I can readily see the potential for adapting Celtic knotwork, tessellations, sashiko, Islamic tile patterns and other geometric designs into mosaic knitting. I can also envisage a patchwork of different design swatches as a solo or collaborative project. I'm sure some talented designers have likely already been similarly inspired.
Good morning. Hope all is well. This pattern blew me away! It definitely does look woven. The colors and pattern of this shawl are amazing! I’ve never worked the mosaic stitch before but this totally inspires me. I’ve been knitting for many years and have learned more here with you, in a sort amount of time than ever before. I’m having so much fun. Thanks much and take care.
This scarf is as artful as a painting. I fell in love with it immediately. Especially the combination with the mosaic knitting, which I have loved doing for years. I really like your channel a lot. Best regards from Germany.
I absolutely love Crocheting mosaic... blankets for my sis and her hubby and blankets for my guests and blankets for Hubby and I.... oh oh...I think soon I will have to try Knitting this piece! Gorgeous!!!!! NOT a Blanket!! LOL 🤩😍Love this shawl! Thank you for sharing!!!
Mosaic is something I have not mastered yet for knitting or crochet but I will! The mosaic section of this shawl is beautiful! Thank you and your pattern designers for always creating the most wondrously looking works of art! 🌸
I absolutely love your videos. I had tried so many times to learn how to knit, but it wasn't until I found your channel that it was explained and shown in a way that I could understand. Thank you for being an amazing teacher!
This pattern is so gorgeous! It brightens up my Friday morning! Thank you and kudos to Monica Wesley. As a beginner knitter, I always enjoy watching your instruction videos. They are so concise and accurate, and contain just the right amount of information to get me to embark on a new type of technique each time! And I'm so inspired to give Mosaic knitting a try, which I never did before.
I have not tried mosaic knitting but I was wanting to in 2023. I've been knitting on and off since 1981 so I think I have enough experience. I love the woven/linen stitch esthetic. At one point I was thinking of trying weaving but realized it requires room I don't have. I like that a certain knit stitch offers a woven appearance.
Since I'm new to knitting, I have not tried mosaic as of yet. But I am avidly practicing so that I can one day in the near future! Mosaic knitting is so very beautiful and will probably become one of my favorite techniques very quickly!!This shawl is stunning! I can't wait to make it and will likely make the shrug. I love shrugs!!!
I have been an off and on knitter since 8 years old. Sad to say my expertise is still that of an 8 year old and I am 80. I try to conquer the more complicated stitches because I want to be able to knit the beautiful, lacy patterns you share. I am much better at crochet but still want to have more confidence with knitting. I love watching the instruction videos you provide. They really help. The Mosaic stitch had me baffled until I watched you do it. Can't wait to try it on my own.
I love the compliments I get when I knit mosaic. It looks difficult & complex but little do they know how easy it really is. Deffiantly eye catching on this new pattern.
Beautiful pattern Chandi! Mosaic knitting is so pretty and fun to do. I’ve only done it in practice swatches I think. I can’t remember making a full project but I remember learning it over these past 10+ years that I’ve been taking classes. Thanks for sharing this lovely pattern and for another great tutorial! Have a great weekend!💞
Such a beautiful pattern!! I have not done Mosaic knitting.. Knitting has always intimidated me. But I am learning slowly but surely. Have a beautiful day all!
I love any type of knitting, crocheting. I have made a mosaic shawl but in crochet. I throughly enjoyd working on it. I will certainly be working on this beauty. Once again thank you so much for the patterns and for your time to teach us. ❤
WOW! Another stunning shawl from Monica!!! This shawl is, well, I can't find the words to describe how happy it makes me! I've haven't tried mosaic knitting...yet. It's on my list of techniques to master. There's a lot of mosaic shawls and sweaters in your catalog that I'd love to make and now there's 1 more. I've done the knitted cast on many times, my favorite is the knitted cable cast on. Your hair is so adorable! I wish you an adorable day!!! Love and hugs!!!
Yes, I have done mosaic knitting, and I love it! This is a beautiful shawl and I like the idea of using the center section as a blanket. Thank you and your team, Chandi, for gorgeous patterns and yarn ❤
I have not knitted Mosaic yet, but I am looking forward to knitting this beautiful technic. And I really need extra hours in the day and at least 4 extra sets of hand in order to knit all these beautiful designs. 😉😂 Thank you Chandi for another amazing tutorial, I learn so much from you every time. Have a blessed weekend. 🌹❤️
Chandi, I'm in love with the yarn colors and of course the design. You give so much positivity, which is God sent! This is added to my collection of knits and will be first mosaic knit
Every week I look forward to another beautiful pattern. Definitely not run-of-the-mill. I’ve never tried Arazzo mosaic knitting. This will be something new for me to try.
Mosaic knitting was the new knitting technique I decided to learn this year. It was serendipity that your MKAL this year was exactly the right pattern for this year - it's my first mosaic knitting project. But my first completed mosaic knitting project was the cowl I was finally brave enough to try last month.
I have never tried mosaic knitting although in another lifetime (before kids) I had tried fair isle knitting. The colours of this are striking & the tapestry look reminds me of my grandmother who was always working on tapestries. Just a beautiful design
I think Mosaic designs in knitting is so beautiful. Even as an advanced beginner I have yet knit a Mosaic design. Mostly because of working with 2 colors at once but I’ve just knitted two shawls that contain a stripe design so I believe I’m ready. I added this first thing Friday morning and put the yarn in my cart. I going to make this my summer project. As always Chandi you provide the best knit designs!
I’ve never tried mosaic knitting before, but I am in love with how beautiful this looks. I will definitely be giving this a try someday. Thanks for all the wonderful projects, I really love them all.😊
Be still my heart, this pattern is everything. I have never done mosaic knitting, but Crystal Roads is in my #goals list, and now this is too. Stunning. 👏❤
I am a new knitter & have yet to try mosaic knitting but … I want to try. This is a beautiful pattern. I have made several mosaic crochet patterns & love the technique. Thank you for your generosity. Good luck everyone 🙏🏻
I've never done mosaic knitting before . I downloaded this pattern just to try it . I've been a long time viewer and sit and drool over your yarn I could never afford. Thanks for all you do you taught me how to knit
So beautiful! I'm still fairly new to knitting and have not yet attempted mosaic knitting......just to look at this beautiful pattern scares me, but Chandi you make it look so easy that I am so tempted to give it a go. I would love to wear this piece and say YES I have knitted this work of art❤Bravo to Monica for this stunning design!
Thank you so much! I'm happy you like it. We have many other Mosaic knitted patterns that would be great to start with. Be sure to check out the link to those at the bottom of this video's description.
Hi Chandi. I am still learning the basics of knitting, so I haven't yet tried any mosaic knitting. I wish I could already though because I am absolutely in love with this shawl. I weave too and it's stunning even for something woven. I love mosaic tiles, which is what the center pattern reminds me of making. Thank you for bringing us such an amazing pattern!
I have dabbled with mosaic knitting, but only practice. I've never made an actual project in it. I have, however, done a few mosaic crochet projects, one of them being an entire blanket. I love the look of mosaic anything! As always, this is a gorgeous pattern! Thank you!
Oh this shawl is so lovely! I have done mosaic stitch, but only once about 40 years ago when I was making baby clothes for my son! 😮 Such beautiful colours too what lovely yarn!
OMG! The mosaic motifs in this shawl are absolutely stunning! I love the color combo also and the way they are showcased in this project. Stunning and gorgeous!😍😍😍
Oh my word that's just stunning! Never yet attempted mosaic knitting before but this might just be the pattern to tempt me to try. The colours are perfection and it looks so beautifully soft and drapey and flowing pure perfection
My very first experience in Mosaic knitting was the Slipdream shawl, and I fell in love with that easy color work style of knitting. This shawl looks amazing, and this one I'm going to make for myself and probably make the shrug version.
Hi Chandy To answer your question I have never dared to do mosaic knitting but I think I'm going to give it a go since this pattern is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing these beautiful patterns with us. ❤
I have never done mosaic knitting, but I really want to do that! I am a beginner knitter and usually more comfortable doing crochet, but I have finished knitting Terebinthia scarf (without beads) recently, and that was so fun! Now I have started knitting Arden scarf too. Your patterns are just so beautiful!
I have never done mosaic knitting before but this (and the Mkal) are really making me want to learn. So beautiful and unique!! Love the buttery sport and colors too!
I have tried mosaic knitting but have always been intrigued by the process. It is definitely on my list of processes to learn. I’m always teaching myself new techniques. It’s absolutely fascinating.
While doing the KAL, i fell in love with mosaic knitting. Its so easy but looks like complicated color work. My knitting group is amazed by my progress on so far on Advertence. I was so excited to see todays pattern! Cant wait to start..
Yes I have tried Mosaic crochet before I properly learned to do basic crochet. The results were very bad, but now I am starting with the basics first then going on to something more complicated. I learned my lesson.
I’ve never done mosaic Knitting before, but I’m definitely going to do so now! I’m addicted your patterns and your beautiful hand dyed yarns. Every week I see a pattern that is more gorgeous than the next. I want to make them all! I can’t keep up! 🧶🧶🧶🤪🤪🤪💸💸💸
I had never done mosaic knitting until I tried the Poble shawl. I am currently working on that, and I love it! It is so easy to do, and the results are beautiful!
I have not done mosaic knitting, but I have done some mosaic crocheting and mosaic Tunisian crocheting. I have been looking for mosaic knit patterns, but there are not a lot out there. So I really appreciate this pattern and the KAL that you are doing this year.
I am currently working on the 2023 MKAL and can see the improvement of my knitting and I am enjoying learning. This pattern is beautiful and intriguing. Thank you for sharing!
This shawl is gorgeous! ❤ I know knitting and crochet but this is the first time I know you can do mosaic in knitting though I'm familiar with mosaic in crochet. I think it is going to be intriguing working on this, especially that the way you showed it in the video encouraged me to go ahead and try this beautiful pattern. 😍
I have done 1 shawl that had a bit of mosaic knitting in it and I enjoyed the pattern but that is the only 1 I have done. I look forward to trying this beautiful shawl. Thank you for the free patterns you provide and for the encouraging words with each video.
Chandi, you are such a great teacher, calm and soothing. I started the Willbraham shawl. The mosaic, blocks, and copper patina coloring are gorgeous. Have an amazing day!
I have never attempted mosaic knitting, but I'm always up for trying new things. I really love the mosaic pattern in this shawl it is absolutely stunning.
I have done a lot of mosaic crochet, but I have not tried mosaic knitting yet. The Roasted Hues set is simply stunning, but in any color combination, Monica's design would be a knockout.
I've never tried mosaic knitting, but I agree with everyone this pattern is so beautiful. I'd sew up the edges so that I could wear it as sleeved. It is stunning❣️❣️❣️❣️
This is such a beautiful shawl in colors that I love. I can’t wait to experience this yarn. I’ve tried some mosaic before but not successfully. With your positivity and gentle guidance I feel like … I can do this!
A creative and beautiful design done in another stunning colorway. I’ve only done a tiny but of mosaic knitting in a cowl. You make it look doable. ♥️ the idea of a shrug. 🧶💕🧶
I have never tried intricate mosaic knitting like this although I've done some very simple two-colored linen stitch before, so I think that between that experience and your clear-as-always demonstrations, I should probably be able to handle it!
This is absolutely beautiful. I am doing my first mosaic knitting with the annual knit along. I am loving it. Absolutely stunning. And what a fun way to knit
This is absolutely gorgeous - a beautiful tapestry. I have not tried mosaic but have downloaded this pattern to give this a whirl. I can see the mosaic section as a stunning cardigan or pullover as well. Love the colors!
I received the yarns ...oh how beautiful they are. I can't wait to get started. I truly love this pattern, hope I can manage to make this wonderful work. fingers crossed!

Still not finished with my project. make a few mistakes, but don't give up. It is such a beautiful pattern and very fun to make. Nearly finished the middle section.
Mosaic knitting is beautiful. Relatively new to knitting so i have yet to try it. Mosaic crochet however is one of my favorite crocheting techniques I've learned in the last 2 years.
Ah, this is such a gorgeous pattern! I've been wanting to try mosaic knitting for a while now because it's always so stunning, but I haven't yet. This is definitely going on my list of patterns to try, though! Well done to Monica for another showstopper of a pattern!
I've been knitting for less than a year, but I'm currently about 25% finished with a large (Full/Queen) size Mosaic Knit blanket of a large Dragon motif with a quasi Celtic knot type border all the way around. I added an I-cord edge to the sides as well to help hide the yarn being carried up the sides. Also currently working on a knitted dish towel using the linen/woven stitch. I love the way the fabric really does look woven!
Another beautiful pattern! I have done mosaic knitting and crocheting. I'm drawn to it from deep inside. I think it has to do with my native american culture. I love weaving also, which to me can be another form of mosaic crafting. Have a fantastic week! Until next time.
I have never done mosaic knitting, however I plan to download this pattern. I would love to attempt it when my skills improve because this pattern is just too gorgeous. ❤
Wonderful! I'm glad you love it. We have quite a few other Mosaic designs that would be great for practicing the technique. You can find the link to those in the bottom of the video description.

Be still my heart, this pattern is everything. I have never done mosaic knitting, but Crystal Roads is in my #goals list, and now this is too. Stunning. 👏❤
Wonderful, have fun with both patterns. 💕
I am a new knitter & have yet to try mosaic knitting but … I want to try. This is a beautiful pattern. I have made several mosaic crochet patterns & love the technique. Thank you for your generosity. Good luck everyone 🙏🏻
Good luck! 😍
I've never done mosaic knitting before . I downloaded this pattern just to try it . I've been a long time viewer and sit and drool over your yarn I could never afford. Thanks for all you do you taught me how to knit
You're most welcome! 😍
@@ExpressionFiberArts thanks for your reply you are so sweet
So beautiful! I'm still fairly new to knitting and have not yet attempted mosaic knitting......just to look at this beautiful pattern scares me, but Chandi you make it look so easy that I am so tempted to give it a go. I would love to wear this piece and say YES I have knitted this work of art❤Bravo to Monica for this stunning design!
Thank you so much! I'm happy you like it. We have many other Mosaic knitted patterns that would be great to start with. Be sure to check out the link to those at the bottom of this video's description.
This shawl is absolutely beautiful! No Chandi, I’ve never knit Mosaic, but you show how easy it is to do. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! 💕
You're so welcome! 💕
I have dabbled with mosaic knitting, but only practice. I've never made an actual project in it. I have, however, done a few mosaic crochet projects, one of them being an entire blanket. I love the look of mosaic anything! As always, this is a gorgeous pattern! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! 😍
Oh this shawl is so lovely! I have done mosaic stitch, but only once about 40 years ago when I was making baby clothes for my son! 😮
Such beautiful colours too what lovely yarn!
I'm so happy you love it! ❤
OMG! The mosaic motifs in this shawl are absolutely stunning! I love the color combo also and the way they are showcased in this project. Stunning and gorgeous!😍😍😍
Aww, thank you! 😍
Oh my word that's just stunning! Never yet attempted mosaic knitting before but this might just be the pattern to tempt me to try. The colours are perfection and it looks so beautifully soft and drapey and flowing pure perfection
Go for it! ❤❤❤
Yes, I have done mosaic knitting. I knit the pressed flowers shawl. So much fun to make.
Wow, that's awesome! 😍
My very first experience in Mosaic knitting was the Slipdream shawl, and I fell in love with that easy color work style of knitting. This shawl looks amazing, and this one I'm going to make for myself and probably make the shrug version.
Wonderful! 💕
I have not tried mosaic knitting but think it is lovely. Thank you and the designer for another beautiful shawl
My pleasure! 💜
Hi Chandy To answer your question I have never dared to do mosaic knitting but I think I'm going to give it a go since this pattern is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing these beautiful patterns with us. ❤
Please do! You'll love it. 😍
Aww, thank you so much! 💕
I have never done mosaic knitting before but this (and the Mkal) are really making me want to learn. So beautiful and unique!! Love the buttery sport and colors too!
You should give it a try! It's a fun technique that's much simpler than it looks.
I have tried mosaic knitting but have always been intrigued by the process. It is definitely on my list of processes to learn. I’m always teaching myself new techniques. It’s absolutely fascinating.
Wonderful!💙
While doing the KAL, i fell in love with mosaic knitting. Its so easy but looks like complicated color work. My knitting group is amazed by my progress on so far on Advertence. I was so excited to see todays pattern! Cant wait to start..
Yay! I'm so happy you're enjoying the MKAL. Mosaic knitting is a really fun technique.
Yes I have tried Mosaic crochet before I properly learned to do basic crochet. The results were very bad, but now I am starting with the basics first then going on to something more complicated. I learned my lesson.
💙💙💙
I’ve never done mosaic Knitting before, but I’m definitely going to do so now! I’m addicted your patterns and your beautiful hand dyed yarns. Every week I see a pattern that is more gorgeous than the next. I want to make them all! I can’t keep up! 🧶🧶🧶🤪🤪🤪💸💸💸
Yay! Thank you! ❤❤❤
I had never done mosaic knitting until I tried the Poble shawl. I am currently working on that, and I love it! It is so easy to do, and the results are beautiful!
Woohoo! Have fun with it. 💙
I have not done mosaic knitting, but I have done some mosaic crocheting and mosaic Tunisian crocheting. I have been looking for mosaic knit patterns, but there are not a lot out there. So I really appreciate this pattern and the KAL that you are doing this year.
You're so welcome. I'm happy you like this one! 💕
I am currently working on the 2023 MKAL and can see the improvement of my knitting and I am enjoying learning. This pattern is beautiful and intriguing. Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful! 😍
Wonderful, have fun with it! 😍
I have done 1 shawl that had a bit of mosaic knitting in it and I enjoyed the pattern but that is the only 1 I have done. I look forward to trying this beautiful shawl. Thank you for the free patterns you provide and for the encouraging words with each video.
You're so welcome! Enjoy!
Chandi, you are such a great teacher, calm and soothing. I started the Willbraham shawl. The mosaic, blocks, and copper patina coloring are gorgeous. Have an amazing day!
How wonderful! 💕
I have never attempted mosaic knitting, but I'm always up for trying new things. I really love the mosaic pattern in this shawl it is absolutely stunning.
It really is!
I cannot wait for my kit and pattern! I haven’t been so excited over a design in a long time. So elegant.
Have fun! 💕
I have done a lot of mosaic crochet, but I have not tried mosaic knitting yet. The Roasted Hues set is simply stunning, but in any color combination, Monica's design would be a knockout.
Aww, thanks! 😍
I've never tried mosaic knitting, but I agree with everyone this pattern is so beautiful. I'd sew up the edges so that I could wear it as sleeved. It is stunning❣️❣️❣️❣️
You're welcome! 💙
This is such a beautiful shawl in colors that I love. I can’t wait to experience this yarn. I’ve tried some mosaic before but not successfully. With your positivity and gentle guidance I feel like … I can do this!
Please do! 💙
A creative and beautiful design done in another stunning colorway. I’ve only done a tiny but of mosaic knitting in a cowl. You make it look doable. ♥️ the idea of a shrug. 🧶💕🧶
Thank you! 😊 ❤ Have fun with it!
I have never tried intricate mosaic knitting like this although I've done some very simple two-colored linen stitch before, so I think that between that experience and your clear-as-always demonstrations, I should probably be able to handle it!
Yes, please give it a try. 💙
This is absolutely beautiful. I am doing my first mosaic knitting with the annual knit along. I am loving it. Absolutely stunning. And what a fun way to knit
Wonderful! I'm so happy you're enjoying it!
This is absolutely gorgeous - a beautiful tapestry. I have not tried mosaic but have downloaded this pattern to give this a whirl. I can see the mosaic section as a stunning cardigan or pullover as well. Love the colors!
Fabulous, enjoy it. 💕
Unbelievable stitches. So beautiful. I have never done anything like this. I would love this yarn color too.
Good luck! 😍
I received the yarns ...oh how beautiful they are. I can't wait to get started. I truly love this pattern, hope I can manage to make this wonderful work. fingers crossed!
You can do it! Enjoy!
@@ExpressionFiberArts Hallo everyone. For the section two-color mosaic band 1: do I need consider the yarn in bacck when I need to slip on the right site of is this only the case for Mosaic Band 2 (the mid section mozaic?
thanking you in advance
Still not finished with my project. make a few mistakes, but don't give up. It is such a beautiful pattern and very fun to make. Nearly finished the middle section.
Mosaic knitting is beautiful. Relatively new to knitting so i have yet to try it. Mosaic crochet however is one of my favorite crocheting techniques I've learned in the last 2 years.
Wonderful! 💙
Another scrumptious shawl! I have done mosaic crochet before but this will be my first adventure into mosaic knitting.
Have fun with it! 😍
I love that you use the word gobsmackenly - perfect for this shawl!
😍😍😍
I want to learn mosaic knitting due to the intricate detail this adds to a pattern.
Congratulations on another gorgeous pattern!
Thank you so much! 💕
I’ve never tried mosaic knitting. Your tutorial shows how easy it is to do.
Glad it was helpful! 💕
Love all the possibilities of mosaic! Lovely design and scrumptious looking yarn.
😍😍😍
I never knitted mosaic pattern before but this shawl is so nice…nothing is gonna stop me!!! 😊
Yay! 💕
Ah, this is such a gorgeous pattern! I've been wanting to try mosaic knitting for a while now because it's always so stunning, but I haven't yet. This is definitely going on my list of patterns to try, though! Well done to Monica for another showstopper of a pattern!
💙💙💙
I've been knitting for less than a year, but I'm currently about 25% finished with a large (Full/Queen) size Mosaic Knit blanket of a large Dragon motif with a quasi Celtic knot type border all the way around. I added an I-cord edge to the sides as well to help hide the yarn being carried up the sides. Also currently working on a knitted dish towel using the linen/woven stitch. I love the way the fabric really does look woven!
Wow, that's fantastic! 💙
Another beautiful pattern! I have done mosaic knitting and crocheting. I'm drawn to it from deep inside. I think it has to do with my native american culture. I love weaving also, which to me can be another form of mosaic crafting. Have a fantastic week! Until next time.
That's wonderful! I hope you have a wonderful weekend. ❤
I have never used the mosaic technique, but I love a challenge, and as always, your patterns are a beautiful way to jump in with both feet🤩
Thanks so much!
Love this pattern. Just started mosaic knitting with the 2023 MKAL and I find it so addictive.
Awesome! 💙
Stunning mosaic work. Thanks Chandi and the other designers for other beautiful shawls. I have never done mosaic work but would love to try.
My pleasure 😊
I really love the textures in this pattern. I’m a fan of Mosaic knitting and I have knitted one of the expression fibre arts mosaic knitting shawl patterns before. I loved it.
😍😍😍
Wow. That is such a beautifyl shawl. Although I've knitted for many years I have never knitted mosaic before. This has inspired me to give it a try. Thank you
Yay, I'm so glad you'll give it a go! 😍
Wow, what a beautiful piece. It's like tapestry. It reminds me of the brocade fabrics my mom liked. I've never done mosaic before but I definitely want to now!
Fabulous! 😍
Hi! I love mosaic knitting!!! It's way more easy than we think, and the results are so beautiful!!! Thank you for this beautiful pattern!

This shawl is stunning. I have always been intimidated by mosaic knitting but you made this look doable I will have to give it a try. Once again thank you so much for an amazing tutorial ❤
My pleasure, enjoy! 😍
I love that you show the stitches you have to use, I have done mosaic knitting but want to try
You should give it a go!
Yes I have done mosaic knitting I find it relaxing and love the beautiful outcome
It really is! The slip stitches create a real rhythm when you're working it.
Another super inspirinig video, thank you, Chandi! I prefer crocheting, but I simply had to watch this video. :D The photos were so seductive - are those sleeves? No they're not. Yes, they are! I just had to check it out. And I mean,... I could watch you knit or crochet all day long.
Aww, thanks! 💙
This year's MKAL is my first adventure in mosaic, but having enjoyed every second of it so far I have no hesitation in saving this pattern on the VERY long list of projects I want to do.
Thank you for yet another beautiful design ❤
Great to hear! And you're very welcome! I'm so happy you're enjoying the MKAL.
I love how this shawl has a combination of stitch patterns. I like variety. I'm currently working on the MKAL and am finding it so enjoyable that I'm looking for other mosaic patterns to knit too.
That's wonderful! I'm so happy you like this one!
This is so beautiful shawl. I have knitted a mosaic pattern in the past. I love the different textures and the delicate colors
Wow, that's awesome! 😍
