Absolutely stunningly beautiful!!!! And the colors for me are *chefs kiss!!!! I just showed this to my husband and he said that "if Christmas was purple that is what it would look like. And the beads on the white background look like snowflakes."
What a beautiful shawl!! Thanks for sharing a technique I’ve never tried. Currently working on a shawl for Halloween with a cotton yarn, shades of orange that fades to black 🎃
WOW! How fun!!! I am currently working on a brioche fringed shawl for my best friend who is recovering from extensive skin cancer surgery. I think a soft, squishy shawl will be like a hug from me whenever she needs to be reminded that she is loved
This is a really interesting pattern. I never had the courage to include beads. I watched your video and I'm off to buy beads❣️At the moment I crochet the Lotus blanket and make squares with different stitches and combinations. Goal 5 per week 🤪
Oh what a gorgeous idea to crochet the stiches ! I´ll give it a try soon, but now I´m working on a linen pullover and then I have to begin the half-pi-shawl!😍 yeah, I´m so excited. Bye, take care and stay creative💜
Oh, it's so simple and so nice! 😍 I'm gonna try it in my next project! Thank you for shaping your experience and pattern for free. I enjoy your videos a lot and yesterday I painted your with your tutorial. You had one chick in Türkiye thinking of you with gratitude. 🤗
I'm blown away! I'm so greatful that a friend sent me this. I'm working on a batwinged jersey knitted in green pure wool! What a pleasure but its been a huge challenge as needles of that length are just not available. So I'm doing it in 4 pieces. This method is going to make the finishing touch! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have certainly subscribed!🎉🎉🎉
I'd love to meet the people that come up with these amazing techniques! I'm currently finishing a cardi-sweater for my youngest daughter. It should keep her warm and snugly this winter! Thank you for another great pattern!!
What a beautiful shawl. Thanks for providing it and adding in the beads and stripping- just love love love to learn new tips and tricks on a new project. Have a blessed day.
I am currently working on weaving a baby blanket for my new grandson who was born 10days ago. I have to say what a great technique. I’ve have never seen this one before but can’t wait to try it. Please keep up your videos and patterns I love them all.
Beautiful shawl, thank you Chandi. The beads add so much to it. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm making my first pair of socks and knitting a simple shawl I've found on one of your tutorials, just knit right side, purl wrong side. I needed something simple for a long drive with the kids and it's coming out beautifully. Have a lovely, happy, relaxed weekend. 🥰
That's a great tweak to projects! Thank you for sharing!! The shawl is gorgeous and in my favourite colours!! I have a couple projects on the go, a shawl for me, a wrap for a friend, and some quick small projects for donations to the local trap/neuter/return program. Have a magical day!!
This pattern look easy enough for me and I'm a beginner knitter, I crotchet, and I make beaded jewelry. I can't wait to try this! I never thought of slip stitching on my items to embellish them. Awesome tip! Thanks!❤
Good morning beautiful, this is gorgeous but I'm still making my grandchildren blankets and right after my sister's shawl I don't want to start another project but it's very tempting thank you again and have a beautiful day 🙏❤️
WOW! Monica knocked it out of the park again! I made the Mysa Wrap with beads, "yes, it has beads!" I still hear your sweet voice saying that, well, I've watched that video about 1,000 times. I'm still working on the Panopaeo, Panapaio, Panapiao...(don't remember the exact spelling...) shirt. It's a shirt...no beads. Have a glorious day!!! Love and hugs!
Hi. I'm currently resting my hand so I can begin Pascal. Once again, you've gotten me to consider something I said I didn't want to do again! Beading knitting! But this way looks SO much easier! I did Shipwreck Shawl by Bethany Kok. Had to thread 5000 beads onto the yarn! (I'm still having nightmares!) Beautiful, but, no. Just no. I've also done the crochet embellishment on another project. I don't understand why I can do that, but NOT really crochet, but this shawl is gorgeous and I'm going to do it as soon as I can!
Lovely flow and drape to this shawl. You have inspired me to try beads. My knitting drive slows down in the summer months as i spend more time outside in nature. I feel like winter is a time to go inward and relax into the journey of each n project. Thank you for your shining light.
My 4 year old son had requested a rainbow blanket, so I showed him some inspiration pictures and he chose the virus blanket. I decided to make it a star blanket because he loves space stuff and Mario and just all sorts of things that made a star blanket feel like a perfect fit for him. It also has the added bonus of allowing me to work through some of my stash.
Ah, what a gorgeous, elegant shawl. Absolutely stunning! I love the look of this yarn so much and really want to try it! Ahhh, if clouds were yarn, they would be this yarn. Thank you for showing us this amazing technique! Unlike duplicate stitch, these stitches actually sit flush with the surrounding stockinette, which I love! What an incredible method of adding colour to the work, and I'll be adding this to my toolkit for sure! I'm still working on a couple 1940s - 1950s tops. One is fingering weight, so it's slow going. The other is with your Mirage Sport, so that's going a bit faster! Still working on my summer-themed Stream of Consciousness cape, too, using your Bamboo Alpaca fingering yarn, and of course, I'm slowing piecing together a crochet blanket for charity. That should go faster once the cooler weather comes too :) Have a beautiful, blessed weekend, Chandi!
I have to say that Monica Wesley is my favorite designer that y'all have used.! She shares my love of beads and she is super nice. If I ever have a question about one of her patterns and I message her she always replies back super quick and is so helpful. I am currently finishing up her Mysa Wrap and her Arazzo pattern! Oh, and I just bought the yarn to make her Faie pattern as well. So as you can see I love her work. I am more than excited for another beaded work of hers and I would be overjoyed to make more than 1 color pattern of this, yet again, beautiful pattern of hers!!
Congratulations, Kayla! Your comment was chosen to win the 10 skeins of Rosalie Sugar Fluff Fingering yarn! YAY! Please send us an email using our contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/ and let us know where you'd like us to ship your yarn. Thanks so much, and have a wonderful day!
The shawl looks gorgeous! I haven't beaded anything yet, but I am looking forward to it. After watching this video, I'm also looking forward to crocheting on my knitting. This technique could add some nicely detailed contrast stripes to a project without tangling two yarns. I'm currently working on a cowl pattern that I got last April during our MN Yarn Shop Hop. The Hop helps both the local yarn shops and their local food shelves/food pantries. The shops offer a collectible for a donation to that shop's local food shelf ($5 suggested/shop). You also get a free pattern or patterns (most shops offered both a knit & a crochet pattern last April) designed to be worked with a yarn that was custom dyed for that shop. The yarn itself is a purchased item from each particular shop and not required for the pattern, just suggested.
Really enjoying the new Friday offerings, and love how this new pattern incorporates knit, crochet and beading in one beautiful shawl! I often have several WIPs - I have an Anisoptera shawl project that I leave in the car, so if I’m somewhere where I need to wait, I can grab the bag. I’ve got a large crochet afghan to finish up, and almost done with a textured Laguna shawl. Thank you for this new pattern!
Wow, another absolute stunner! At the moment I'm actually working on a quilt rather than a yarn project, but this is going to the top of the list. :::chef's kiss:::
What a beautiful technique. I don’t knit, but I am thinking of trying it with Tunisian crochet. Thanks so much for sharing. I am working on crocheted socks right now for my niece’s birthday.
Wow. Monica hit it out of the park again. She designs such amazing projects. I am currently trying to catch up on the CAL shawl. I love the feel of the sugar fluff. I have some to make the Querencia shawl. Eek I am going to have to order more for this shawl. She designs faster than I can finish lol. Thank you for all the tutorials and the yummy yarn.
Oh Chandi, your shawl is absolutely gorgeous! And the pink Roseli sugar yarn looks so lovely.Thank you for this new technique. I only "knit" on the Sentro but also crochet. Which has been difficult because of hand tremors. Thank you for sharing your talents and kindness. I will try to download your gorgeous pattern. Thank you for your generosity.
I love combining knit and crochet and what a beautiful example that wrap is. Beads do feel luxurious. Currently I am swatching for a knit sweater with a diamond pattern for my son.
Cool! Now all I have to do is learn to knit! This week I am putting an envelope border on a multicoloured striped blanket I made in cotton for my queen-size bed. I started this blanket 2 years ago as a long-term mindless crochet project I could work on when i did not want to focus too much on what i was doing.
This is a beautiful shawl. I have never work with beads before. Right now I'm working on the Adamas shawl. I love it. It is so beautiful. Thank you for these amazing shawls.
Wow! Your designers always astounded me with their shawl patterns. So lovely! I'm currently working on a crocheted halloween shawl. It's getting cold in the mornings where I live, so I need a new shawl to snuggle with while I drink coffee on the porch. 😄
How pretty...and pretty easy!! Currently on my needles is a wavy sea inspired shawl for my aunt; on the hook is a hexicardigan for my daughter! I love Fridays because I can always count on a new video from you, Chandi! You are such an inspiration! ❤❤❤
Gorgeous shawl. I have learned so much from you. Your tutorials are so perfect and beautiful. Thank you. At this time I am crocheting a bag for my sister.
That opens up so many things, so cool. I'm currently doing a temp blanket of my parents' first year of marriage for a Christmas present. With other small projects interspersed.
When I saw this shawl in my email, my jaw dropped. Wow! I'm currently working on a jacket for my husband with Whately from Valley Yarns in combination with a trio collection from Expressions Fiber Arts in Magnet, Sense of Wonder, and Trails all fingering weight. A solid color of the Whately with the color exchange of the EFA yarn trio. It is an easy pattern he picked. All of the yarns are natural fibers.
OMG that shawl is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the added details with the chain technique and the beads just send it over the top! Looking forward to trying out this technique with that pattern. The yarn is so beautiful. I’m currently working on a headband in Tunisian crochet. Nothing fancy, just wanted a mindless break before starting anything complicated. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from FL!😺
This shawl has it all...soft fluffy yarn goodness, gorgeous colors, and the design! So beautiful!!! I'm finally on the last 10 rows of my Copland shawl. I can't wait until it's all done 😊
What an achievable technique to add details to a project! I’m adding long straps to water bottle holders, so they can be worn cross body style, and I’m working up some slipper socks! Thanks for this opportunity!
I've learned so much from your channel! Currently working on the "Ceylon Tea" shawl for a friend of mine whom I celebrate Veterans Day with every year.
Zucchero is stunning. I am currently working on crochet pattern Trade Winds in your Enigmatic Hues and loving every minute. I am almost finished. Can’t wait to block it. 😊
Thanks for sharing the technique. I always seem to learn something new when I watch your videos. I'm currently working on some coasters for my sister for her birthday.
Oh, that's neat! I'm currently working on a crochet lacy shawl where I don't think this technique will work. But, I will remember this for my next project, a hat. Thank you for sharing. Have an amazing day!
I am currently working on the Renata Crochet Shawl of yours with 3 beautiful colors of Restore Fingering Yarn. This is my first shawl, and I am loving how this is working up! I am very excited to finally be working with fingering yarn and I am crocheting slowly so it odd becoming a very meditative project. Thank you SO much for all of your lovely, classic patterns, yarns and most of all, videos. You are so talented!
Another beautiful job!!! I've worked on that technique but in crochet on a filet base, it's so much fun! Now I'm working on a sweater for my granddaughter 🥰.
Interesting...new technique I've just learned! I'm currently working on the Dichondra shawl from last week. I'm just starting the Leaves section. Super fun pattern,; the detail looks complicated, but when you break it down per row, the reps are easily manageable. Thanks for a chance to win your gorgeous yarn! 🤩
This technique is exactly what I need right now. I’m a fairly new knitter. I have been working on a triangle shawl. Unfortunately I forgot a few yarn overs in the spine and didn’t notice them right away. Of course the error is very noticeable. You inspired me to add a little crochet into the spine to camouflage the mistake and add an extra design element. Thank you for such elegant patterns. I’ve made several of your crochet patterns and they turned out wonderful. Your yarn is top shelf too. Soft and a dream to work with.
I am currently crocheting your Galateia beautiful top sleeveless pattern. That technique is awesome! I have not knitted since I was a child. I knew how to knit and purl so maybe I can relearn and make that beautiful shawl. I am putting in cart for sure. If I’m lucky winner of Rosalie 'SUGAR FLUFF' Fingering yarn I will make baby blanket for one or both of my great granddaughters born this month and maybe I’ll be adventurous and try your technique to elevate it. Thank you for all you do Chandi. 🥰
What a beautiful shawl ❤. It’s so elegant and feminine worked in those colors ❤🧶. Such and interesting technique 🤔🤔. I’m still working on my baby blanket in luster sport. ❤
What a beautiful shawl! I will add it to my wish It’s but need to finish Alpenglow before taking on a new challenge❤️ Thank you, too, for the regular cheerful and positive messages.
Absolutely beautiful! Just crocheted a shawl for myself, one of my current works in progress is a blanket for my new step-granddaughter❤. I'll be using this technique on a shawl for my sister. . .she'll love it.
I love this new technique and it goes to saying you never stop learning. I'm currently working on the Red velvet shawl with your Red Velvet Rose Pearlescent Worsted weight. I'm absolutely in love with this wool as the drape is fabulous. I can't wait to get it done, and will wear it this fall and winter.
I love this pattern!!! I'm currently working on a couple of crochet baskets for my daughter. I'm pretty sure this shawl with beads and the crochet technique will be the next thing I do. I just love your positive energy.
I'm currently crocheting a granny square blanket for myself, but once my new knitting needles arrive I'm hoping to attempt this shawl. The most adventurous I've been with knitting so far has been a simple basket weave. I'm looking forward to trying this pattern. 😁
Fascinating technique, what fun you can have. I don't knit, but I do crochet, I'm currently working on a couple of blankets, a shawl and a pair of socks....WIPs rule ok lol 😂
I am crocheting a baby blanket and playing with making a 12 point star afghan. I've also been making beanies. I've recently finished a couple of shawls one being The Boho shawl. I LOVE that design. 😊❤
I just completed the Pascal tank top using the restore fingering yarn and began knitting the Panopeia pullover. Looking forward to learning the techniques featured in this gorgeous shawl. Have a joyful day 🧶
Love Lov love your quote, “when life is hard, make soft things” YESSSSSS! So true and so needed.
💜💜💜
Absolutely stunningly beautiful!!!! And the colors for me are *chefs kiss!!!!
I just showed this to my husband and he said that "if Christmas was purple that is what it would look like. And the beads on the white background look like snowflakes."
I love your husband's reply! 💜
What a beautiful shawl!! Thanks for sharing a technique I’ve never tried. Currently working on a shawl for Halloween with a cotton yarn, shades of orange that fades to black 🎃
You're so welcome! Enjoy!
WOW! How fun!!! I am currently working on a brioche fringed shawl for my best friend who is recovering from extensive skin cancer surgery. I think a soft, squishy shawl will be like a hug from me whenever she needs to be reminded that she is loved
Yes, that would be lovely! 💚
You look so glamorous with your dress and ‘matching’ shawl. X
💚💚💚
This is a beautiful shawl.
💜💜💜
This shawl is so gorgeous!! I just want to give it a big hug! I’m currently working on a baby blanket for my fourth grandchild ❤️
That's wonderful 💜
This is a really interesting pattern. I never had the courage to include beads. I watched your video and I'm off to buy beads❣️At the moment I crochet the Lotus blanket and make squares with different stitches and combinations. Goal 5 per week 🤪
Woohoo 💜
Honestly I wouldn’t have known how to do this technique just by looking at it. Now I know and it is beautiful, easy, and it adds beauty to the shawl.
Right!? I'm glad you like it 💚
WOW!!! Your technique & this shawl are BEAUTIFUL!!! And these colors - YUMMY!!!
Glad you like them! 💜
Oh what a gorgeous idea to crochet the stiches ! I´ll give it a try soon, but now I´m working on a linen pullover and then I have to begin the half-pi-shawl!😍 yeah, I´m so excited. Bye, take care and stay creative💜
Have fun! 💕

I enjoy your videos a lot and yesterday I painted your with your tutorial. You had one chick in Türkiye thinking of you with gratitude. 🤗
Oh, you're so welcome! I'm so happy you love what we do! ❤❤❤
My pleasure and I'm glad you found us 💚
I'd love to meet the people that come up with these amazing techniques! I'm currently finishing a cardi-sweater for my youngest daughter. It should keep her warm and snugly this winter! Thank you for another great pattern!!
You're most welcome 💜
What a beautiful shawl. Thanks for providing it and adding in the beads and stripping- just love love love to learn new tips and tricks on a new project. Have a blessed day.
I so excited to hear that 💜
I am currently working on weaving a baby blanket for my new grandson who was born 10days ago. I have to say what a great technique. I’ve have never seen this one before but can’t wait to try it. Please keep up your videos and patterns I love them all.
Yay, I'm excited to see how it turns out 💜
Of all the beautiful shawls you have generously shared, Zucchero is my favorite!!! It is in my queue as my next shawl project.
That's awesome 💜
Beautiful shawl, thank you Chandi. The beads add so much to it. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm making my first pair of socks and knitting a simple shawl I've found on one of your tutorials, just knit right side, purl wrong side. I needed something simple for a long drive with the kids and it's coming out beautifully. Have a lovely, happy, relaxed weekend. 🥰
Good luck with your first pair of socks 💜
That's a great tweak to projects! Thank you for sharing!! The shawl is gorgeous and in my favourite colours!!
I have a couple projects on the go, a shawl for me, a wrap for a friend, and some quick small projects for donations to the local trap/neuter/return program.
Have a magical day!!
You as well! 💜
❤❤ Gosh! This opens a whole new door to creativity! I love it!
Right!?
Just spectacular! Working on a winter coat made of granny squares of blues, creams and tans.
💚💚💚
This pattern look easy enough for me and I'm a beginner knitter, I crotchet, and I make beaded jewelry. I can't wait to try this! I never thought of slip stitching on my items to embellish them. Awesome tip! Thanks!❤
Fabulous, I'm thrilled that you like our videos. 💚
Such a beautiful shawl! I am crocheting a blanket for my great-grandson.
Awesome 💚
Good morning beautiful, this is gorgeous but I'm still making my grandchildren blankets and right after my sister's shawl I don't want to start another project but it's very tempting thank you again and have a beautiful day 🙏❤️
You're so very welcome! I hope you have a wonderful day, too!
Those crochet embellishments look amazing and so fun love it ❤
Yes, they are 💜
Thanks, to you as well 💚
I'm glad we motivated you to try Zucchero! 💜
Lovely flow and drape to this shawl. You have inspired me to try beads. My knitting drive slows down in the summer months as i spend more time outside in nature. I feel like winter is a time to go inward and relax into the journey of each n project. Thank you for your shining light.
Your kind words are everything to me!
Oh I love that. It will look amazing for sure 💚
What a great technique to add interest to a knitted piece. And I love that your nail polish matches your green yarn!:) Thank you
My pleasure 💚

This is a lovely shawl. I am currently working on a amigurumi Groot. Not something that can hug you...but so cute it makes you smile.
Aww, how sweet 💜
This is so pretty!! Love both the stitch combinations and the delightful stitch embellishments!
Zucchero is stunning. I am currently working on crochet pattern Trade Winds in your Enigmatic Hues and loving every minute.
I am almost finished. Can’t wait to block it. 😊
Awesome! And I'm so happy you like Zucchero.
I'm so glad! Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing the technique. I always seem to learn something new when I watch your videos. I'm currently working on some coasters for my sister for her birthday.
You have just motivated me so much right now!
Oh, that's neat! I'm currently working on a crochet lacy shawl where I don't think this technique will work. But, I will remember this for my next project, a hat.
Thank you for sharing. Have an amazing day!
You're so welcome! I hope you have a wonderful day, too!
You're most welcome. I'm so happy you enjoy all of our products. 💚
Another beautiful job!!! I've worked on that technique but in crochet on a filet base, it's so much fun! Now I'm working on a sweater for my granddaughter 🥰.
Oh, how sweet!
Good luck 💜
This technique is exactly what I need right now. I’m a fairly new knitter. I have been working on a triangle shawl. Unfortunately I forgot a few yarn overs in the spine and didn’t notice them right away. Of course the error is very noticeable. You inspired me to add a little crochet into the spine to camouflage the mistake and add an extra design element.
Thank you for such elegant patterns. I’ve made several of your crochet patterns and they turned out wonderful. Your yarn is top shelf too. Soft and a dream to work with.
I love that. It'll help for sure to cover it up. 💚
The shawl is beyond beautiful. I downloaded the pattern. Cant wait to start knitting. Thx and hugs from Croatia
Woohoo 💚
Love the shawl. I have never tried beading but I am anxious to give it a try. I am currently working on sweaters for my two beautiful granddaughters.
Aww, thank you 💜
I am currently crocheting your Galateia beautiful top sleeveless pattern. 🥰
My pleasure and enjoy making Zucchero 💜
I love your videos so much; I look forward to every single video every single day and every single time.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are so kind 💕
What a beautiful shawl ❤. It’s so elegant and feminine worked in those colors ❤🧶. Such and interesting technique 🤔🤔. I’m still working on my baby blanket in luster sport. ❤

Absolutely beautiful! Just crocheted a shawl for myself, one of my current works in progress is a blanket for my new step-granddaughter❤. I'll be using this technique on a shawl for my sister. . .she'll love it.
You have truly put the biggest smile on my face.
That shawl, so gorgeous. I am currently knitting a sweater.
💜💜💜
I love this new technique and it goes to saying you never stop learning. I'm currently working on the Red velvet shawl with your Red Velvet Rose Pearlescent Worsted weight. I'm absolutely in love with this wool as the drape is fabulous. I can't wait to get it done, and will wear it this fall and winter.
Wonderful! That makes me so happy 💙

Woohoo 💚
Fascinating technique, what fun you can have. I don't knit, but I do crochet, I'm currently working on a couple of blankets, a shawl and a pair of socks....WIPs rule ok lol 😂
