I prefer to make waffle-coated chicken. Just make the waffle batter, dip the chicken in it and deepfry it. Only issue is not knowing what to dip it in as Syrup isn't the first thing you think of when it comes to "chicken"; and Ranch doesn't exactly go with waffles, but I found that Honey Mustard (with emphasis on the honey) works well with.

When It comes to seasoning popcorn I have one more tip that wasn't mentioned - blend your spice mix using an electric coffee grinder. Especially helpful when adding herbs/spices that are bigger and don't want to stick too well, but really useful even if seasoning with just salt. Also as a base I like to use an equal mix of salt and msg with a tiniest sprinkle of citric acid to which I add different flavorings (herb blends, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, garlic powder, anything really works with popcorn). This base allows me to season more liberally to replicate how much flavor is on commercial snacks like chips without it being overly salty and flat.
I'll be honest, I have no idea what teams are playing and I didn't even know the Super Bowl was this Sunday until I saw a video a couple days ago about what trailers might air during the game.

Top popcorn tip, use Lao Gan Ma to make popcorn - strain the oil and use it to pop the corn (so as not to end up with loads of burnt chilli flakes), and then add the chilli from the strainer to the popcorn post-pop. Best popcorn I've ever had! And I studied film so trust me, I know a thing or two about the corn that pops.

Try wrapping a slice of banana and hershey's kiss in a wonton wrapper and deep-fry till golden and crispy. Dust with powdered sugar. Amazing!
