Not only turned but was straight up jamming with you. I'm a terrible musician but if I could make music, hearing someone crushing one of my songs like that I'd be rocking out with them. I think she just expects it'll be internationaly known songs but I love when the artist do these because I watch from United Statesand I get to learn the songs that don't make it over here that really should because they're great
It's not that she doesn't take herself as not being well known. Being a contestant, it takes a lot of courage to walk up on stage and sing a song of a coach. That's why not only Rita but others were a little shook too~

Not necessarily there’s been a hand full of times where people uses judges songs and they turn but pick a different coach
You could also say this is pragmatic since your chances of getting her on your team goes up if you eliminate the coach whose song was being sung since that judge is going to have a natural advantage in said situations. Yes, it’s true with these sorts of contestants the contestants don’t always pick the coach whose song they sung but I’m sure it happens more often then not. The block is especially useful when either a) they song being song is associated with a particular judge or b) When the genre of song being sung gives one judge a natural advantage over the others (Keith would naturally have an advantage with Country music contestants so if any other judge really wanted a certain country artist on their team they would benefit from blocking Keith, if possible. That’s how Kelly Clarkson has used her block in the past with Blake Shelton to secure a country artists more likely to pick Blake over her on The Voice US.
But really smart, she's got a crazy good country pop sound to her voice that Keith can build around. Excellent use of the block
