The whole point of the show is to not choose people only because they fit pre-conceived ideas about who "looks like a star". She's not a great singer. At least she was kicked out in the battles.
I just love that you can tell by the coaches reactions how experienced they are with hearing their own songs.

Rita is so cute when she recognizes How to Be Lonely. I just love her plus she's wearing my favorite color. I've said it before on Ettiene's performances I've seen on here but she should have gone further and she totally did Jason's song up great.

In my opinion, the possibility to block other coaches shouldn't exist. It's unfair and it damages the singer only. It's possible that they can't choose the coach they would like, and like it or not, they are obligated to choose those who remain. This is not a joke, the coaches are rich and famous, and the singer might change their life forever by making the right choice. The life is often unfair, and obviously all the shows have the purpose of making money, more than helping talented people. It's a shame, but we're living in a sick society, money is the only value.
