Thank you for sharing this , very good and understandable. I had a very simuler thing happen to me in a cal dessrt hwy. Only my gears busted out of the rear cover and rear end froze with no noise warnong, it just suddenly blew. Great vodeo.
I pulled out of my driveway and heard like a snap and then when I drove down the road, not even half a mile, I started hearing a clicking sound from rear driver side and smelt like something was rubbing. Any idea what you think is the problem??? Thanks.
I would check the driveshaft first, then check all the wheel bearings, they could be bad, they have a way of sounding like they are on the other end of the truck, so check all of them.
Solid video I appreciate you making it

Just a FYI, if you have a vin #, you can call the local dealership and they can tell you the gear ratio.
Ty I didn’t know and that helped

thunderwolf racing it ended up being my ebrake cable that snapped. So my ebrake was still engaged.
What year was that?
Its in the glovebox gear reo
Did burnouts cause this
it was caused from pinion bearing failure.

Invent new ones while making angry gorilla noises!
art to try a wrench
I think I fucked my rearend up races it ,it chugs when u give it gas ,and really chugs backing up
if you have had it apart it may be a preload issue.
It's a wonder it was still moving.
the truck is a 4x4 so it was running off the front axle, the rear was just along for the ride.
@@thunderwolfracing1141 That explains it...thanks!
holy hell !! 🔥🤣
Omg get you some tools to work with.
the pinion had chewed the bolt up, that is why I had to use the vice grips.
If 7 is to small than its an 8😂
