Thanks for going into such detail on how you start your snake walking sticks. Your willingness to help others excel is so refreshing. You inspire me to not only do my best, but to help others as well. Your current rattlesnake walking stick looks like it is going to be another beauty.

Although I'm not a carver, Mike, I thoroughly enjoy your videos. They're a multi-faceted treat. Watching you engage in the creative process, seeing the surroundings in which you gather inspiration and materials, marveling at and appreciating the professional production quality that elevates your channel orders of magnitude above typical UA-cam fare, and enjoying your chubby little companion, Pearl, combine to make viewing your channel a delightful experience. You provide top quality, through and through. 👍

I felt as though I was watching a comprehensive tutorial today. It's so interesting to see you work close up on your sticks. Great tutorial video! Love your work and videos! I would love to have one of your masterpieces. I hike often and have always used a single walking stick.

Mike, had you ever thought of using one of your brass end caps as a tool? You could apply a thin film of glue inside the cap, then put a grit material on the glue, then after it sets up, it would sand the perfect shape on the end of your walking stick. You could either turn the new tool by hand, or put a shaft on it to turn it with your dremel tool.
Just an idea, hope it helps 🤠👍

This is expert hand and mind work. Wonder what the cost for a completed Timber Rattlesnake would cost? Love this craftsmanship.
