Here are my findings [from July 2011] while I was researching how to superimpose minor 7th chords over a dominant 7th chord. Functions highlighted: Analysis fra 1: 1b35b7 fra b2: b23b67 fra 2: 1246 fra b3: b2b3b5b7. This one sounding very, very strange to my ears. fra 3: 2357 fra 4: 1b34b6 fra b5: b23b56. Gave some sort of H/W type sound. Implying half/whole scale? fra 5: 245b7 fra b6: Extremely outside sounding, gives b3b5b67. fra 6: 1356 fra b7: b24b6b7 fra 7: 2b567 Sounded inside and outside at the same time. I will make a video on this and put it on my channel so people can see it.
@@charlesalexanderable you can say that for bends. When you bend strings, for a bit it's out of tune until you reach your desired note. I just got annoyed at nincompoops on the internet that talk shit about all time greats.
Scott , I love your guitar playing, not to take anything away from you , but you remind me of the Style of Jeff beck, Do you like his Playing ? , Cousin Figel
1:37: "F minor pentatonic, A minor pentatonic, Eb minor pentatonic, and then here C# minor pentatonic, but mixed with D minor pentatonic and C minor pentatonic"... sorry Sir, could you repeat?!
What a player. Just of a completely different level. And he’s an unbelievable live player. Don’t miss him if he comes to a place near you.
Unbelievable we bow down to the master 🙇
what an extraordinary guitar player, even back in the 80's he was off the charts
best guitariat in the world for 30 years.....I play the instrument myself 50 years and Scott is the best by far
The 'thing in 4ths'...Eddie Harris..Learning the head to 'Freedom Jazz Dance' is a nice exercise in that regard...

The greatest out of tune sounding guitarist in the world.
a great player, yes. You are not.
go check out Oz Noy..
Out of tune and out of key are two different things.
He is in tune, playing out of key often, on purpose.
@@user-ov5nd1fb7s with the tremelo he's actually often resolving to notes that aren't in any key, not even just blue notes
