One of the best guitarists on earth today, perhaps the best, and top ten from every era. He can play anything that comes to him, effortlessly, at any tempo.

Funny. I was once obsessed with how fast I could learn how to play. Now for me, it's more about tonal variations. Scott is right on point.

Great that Scott Henderson is as articulate talking about music as he is playing it. A brilliant one-off.

In my opinion he is the n.1 today. He is the prototype of the guitar player of the future.

Yeah im a harmony player.. scott is very correct there... i can say harmony is harder than technical playing.. understanding melody ia important too.. and being able to write complex harmony. Then being able to masterly combine the two and improvise.. thats my definition of jazz.. if you are playing with others you need to do thins 2nd nature.. most of improv is not improv.. its about playing variation of your signature style and motifs.. to an extent you have to know what the other guys favour .. usually by going to their gigs or jamming with them... ive never seen 4 random people come together and just sound good

One of the best and most fascinating guitar players out there. Watching him build up steam on stage and cut loose is like an epiphany. As harmonically interesting as Holdsworth but a bit more grounded in standard forms. Amazing chops, phrasing and melodies.

I write alot of lyrics, hummin & bummin around , everyday $#!+ shit, then hear it played by others...ever get That Feeling? Give it away. So now , Its Fun Again. Styles drift, like a riff, in a snowbank. Keep jammin & I'll try to practice More. Thanks

One big mistake I made when I was young was trying to play jazz very early without having the necessary rhythmic control and technique.

My boss at work thinks success is how many people know your name and how important they are in the management chain. When an executive director comes to visit,.we.need to all wear our best shirt and find our best work to show him.. which is hard because our best is.pretty lousy but then again we dont really care too.much for.the work im just here to get paid and my boss to kiss arse to be promoted so hes ego can grow.bigger
